    Horrible experience. Ordered delivery, sofritas bowl because I am 100% plant based. When I received my food I took a few bites only to notice there were chunks of chicken in my bowl. Called to talk to a manager and was told that was impossible because the sofritas is not near the chicken and they could not refund but to come up for a remake. After I said I would not be eating at Chipotle anymore she said "Okay. Have good day" and hung up on me. Insane to think that is their customer service. Also do NOT offer vegan options and not follow through with what you are offering. Will never EVER eat here again.

    ordering in store is no problem, usually you get good portions and its fast. i just ordered online though and its very disappointing. the portion size of my bowl was pathetic, it was literally flat and pancaked and everything was just downsized. this has happened more than once while ordering online. id really like for this to improve as this is my go-to location. i also understand there may be stipulations between the app and store but i got the notification that my order was ready and i was waiting in line for my order still. just overall disheartening experiences recently.

    Food here is usually good. It's hit or miss on whether you can actually walk in and order now, and if you call to ask, you're told to just come by and see if they have enough staffing or not! Walked in (finally!) and a line backed up to the door, three kids working, no one even talking to customers in line, everyone working on digital orders (as is evident by the activity going on), and the entire line of customers in the building is visibly upset. After ten minutes of standing in the doorway, someone starts to make the first person in line's order. The line starts to move!!! Slowly, I make my way to the turn in the line, and there's a hand sanitizer stand.... EWWWW.... Disgusting.. Pictures have been posted. What IS that growing in the tray?!? I'm literally blocked in by the line of Ppl at this point... Can't leave. Waiting for thirty minutes now and haven't made it to the wooden block art on the wall.. Will gladly update this if it warrants an update after I eventually make it through the line...

    Unfortunately this location and severely declined. $9.20 for a greasy quesadilla with zero sides and customer service with an attitude.

    I have never been treated so horribly by an employee before. Tonight I came in to pick up a mobile order. It wasn't on the shelf yet so I just patiently waited to the side. No worries. Then the employee behind the register (@8:15pm, 8/29/22) starts harassing me about the order to the point I have never felt so uncomfortable. Even other folks in line looked very uncomfortable with the way this woman was talking to me. She was so incredibly rude and condescending. Her behavior was beyond unprofessional to say the least. The rest of the staff seems lovely and the food is always decent. But due to that one particular employee, I don't believe I will ever be returning to this store again.

    To go prep employee as well as manager on doty were incredibly rude and insisted that I stole our order we made online and came back in for a repeat of the same order. I insisted that I was the only one who came in and that they must have had someone come in and either mix it up and grab the wrong food or someone else take it. However, they insisted that it was "very weird" and that we took it. Finally made me my order which was lacking all the ingredients that we had requested and sent me on my way but made sure to throw in one last dig on my way out. I will strongly recommend that anyone at my office doesn't place any orders from this location again. Would like to add that the lady who sets the bags in the to go area was incredibly nice and apologized for the behavior of her coworkers/manager.

    I usually have a high tolerance for salty food. But this time when I ordered, it was way too salty. I took couple of bites but couldn't figure which one was the reason and didn't want to experiment. When I told the staff, their first response was denial and that there was nothing too salty and were pointing why I had already had taken couple of bites. I told them I couldn't eat it and had it thrown out and got it refunded. The management may be new and don't know how to treat a customer who is trying to help them improve the quality. I had been going there for a decade and never experienced something like this and rarely complain.

    I have attached a copy of the receipt from the Chipotle Restaurant located at 7040 West 135th Street in Overland Park, KS 66223. My wife and I ordered a Chicken Bowl and a Carne Asada Bowl on10/09/2023 at 6:13 pm. for “take out” to bring home to eat. Please note we had ordered these exact meals several times previously and we throughly enjoyed them. This time was significantly different. Both meals were not edible because they were so “spicy hot” unlike anything we had ever experienced at Chipotle. Very disappointing and certainly not up to Chipotle’s standard. I would like to respectfully request a refund for our meals of $22.15 or a voucher in this amount. Hopefully this experience was an anomaly

    The food was horrible. I paid $31.75, and the chips were dripping grease. The barbacoa was so dry, and the service OMG, the 2 managers, had a face like they didn't want to be there. I will never come back to this chipotle.

    NOW HIRING! The food was amazing and service was fast! They were patient when we were ordering and getting our food. I got the chicken bowl and I loved it! The only gripe I have that doesn’t even apply to the business is that parking can be a little tuff but if you park on the side it’s an easy exit.

    Usually this location is really good but today all three workers were rude and didn’t care about taking our order, then when they did, it took almost 5 minutes to pay. We were the only people here. They were out of steak at 6 pm and our chicken was completely burnt and tasted terrible. This was a terrible experience and I probably will not return.

    Not all Chipotle locations are equal, unfortunately, but rest assured, this one is a cut above the rest, thanks to the terrific general manager, Darnell Washington (I asked for his card so I could write this review). There are a number of reasons I am taking the time to write now, the biggest one being the way Darnell made us feel when we were in. He was genuinely friendly and smiled hugely, making me want to smile. I wish I encountered more people like Darnell in the world. :-)

    My burrito bowl was decent, but did they want me to make my own guac at home? I’m confused why I got half of an avocado??? Also, I would have liked to have known that by “kids fruit” they mean a single halo orange.

    The portion size of the burrito that I received was a slap in the face. The burrito was NOT bigger than an iPhone 11. There was maybe a scoop of rice, if that, and a few crumbs of meat. There was more tortilla than filling. This was my first visit to this location and I will NOT return.

    Rude! Don’t dare ask for anything beyond normal. They are too busy talking to each other to bother acknowledging the customer. Darnell the “manager” isn’t any help when you complain about his employees either. He lets his employees tell him what to do, definitely not manager quality!!

    Always closing early. I get off work fairly late and always crave chipotle, but they seem to just want to close whenever they like. They close 25-30 minutes early, why not change your hours to 10 instead of 10:30. It’s very misleading.

    This is the second time I have came here and tired to get something to eat after I got off work. They closed at 10:10. I think you should post the hours you truly close at instead of closing whenever you would like. Both times there have been other cars pulling up to get chipotle but seeing as they close whenever they want no one was able to get their food. I also asked why if they were closing early they didn’t have a sign and the employee wasn’t able to tell me. Please manage your business better.

    RUDE manager, food dried up looking old (1:00 lunch rush so that's odd), and the portion sizes are TERRIBLE. You can get better portions and quality from restaurants now...I won't be returning to the 135th and Metcalf location for sure!!!

    Order was not ready upon arrival. After waiting and asking about order they said it must have been stolen and they would remake but it would be 20+ mins. After waiting 10 more mins was told there was no manager and they couldn't remake our order. Now forced to deal with corporate as they can't address in person. No refund or food. Terrible experience all around.

    I am not usually one to complain or leave a review. But I came in and was one of the only people in line. I understand there’s to go orders they have to do as well, but I felt very rushed and the lady finishing my bowl came off as rude trying to finish my bowl in two seconds. I was deciding on lettuce because it looked old and she was not patient with me. No one behind me in line. She also immediately told her co worker (I believe she was training her) to hurry up and start the next order. The girl at the register was nice, also rushing big time. Again, nobody in line behind me. I appreciated getting my food fast, but the way it was handled didn’t set well. My bowl tastes just fine, although the rice was dry and clumpy. Probably won’t be back at this location.

    They always have the bad guac. If you're planning on getting on the guac, stay away from this place. Not fresh at all! Happened to me several times during different time of the day.

    I went on my lunch break. It was not busy at all. In fact, i was the only one in line. Gariela she was the one who rang up my order. She was not very pleasant and kind of rude. The guy who fixed my order had very nice customer service.

    Best chipotle in KC hands down. Everyone here is extremely welcoming and kind. The store manager, Darnell, has such a great attitude and truly delivers the best customer service. I can trust that my order will always be correct when ordering on the mobile app. 10/10!!

    Writing a review so I can remember to go to a different location next time! Whoever was working tonight made all 3 of my mobile orders wrong, forgot the salad dressing and chips, and we didn't know it till we were home.

    Giving 2/5 stars, experience is hit or miss. Had an employee give customer before me large scoops to where they couldn't close lid in the end and didnt have to pay extra. When it came to my turn, portion was way smaller to where I asked for more and they were going to charge me extra! I think portion sizes should be consistent and if an employee is trying to hook a regular up, they shouldn't make it so obvious. I mean, I could have been a regular. I don't ask for too much and I always give good tips even with carry out. Another bad experience was when I waited for restaurant to open at 10:45am to get lunch early since I was in a rush and right at 10:45am they put a sign up that they will be closed till 11:15am. Seriously a waste of my time. Had I known they would be closed till 11:15am (put your signs up early!), I would have gone elsewhere instead of waiting in the parking lot.

    The food was excellent! The staff was friendly and clean behind the serving line. The tables were not clean though. I had to look for a clean spot to eat, but even the table I found was not very clean. I had to brush some food to the floor, from previous customers. I would eat here again but I would suggest more sanitizing be used.

    The palace always have fresh food and normally it would have great service but when I had ask for extra rice it had became a problem now this doesn't happen normally but yesterday it was a attitude behind it now I eat chipotle at least 4 times a week we will see If we will have a better day today other than that great service and always fresh food.

    This is the best light lunch and the best Chipotle location in my opinion! I am a Chipotle fan and regularly visit locations in the Kansas City area as well as out of town and always compare them to this one. The food is consistently awesome! Staff is friendly and helpful and usually anticipate my order. Managers are positive and engaging with customers and staff and everyone seems happy. Thanks again!
