In Owerri, Rockview is a good hotel to visit. The environment is quite accommodating and there is more than one building. For example, the hotel rooms are in one, there is a separate building for the hall, there is another building for the gym and another for the outdoor bar. The rooms are standard and okay enough for a good night's sleep. General hotel maintenance would earn a 3-star, judging from the past when the hotel was newly built at present times. For example, the poolside, the outdoor bar, the gym, the compound floor and the main hotel room building, all need maintenance. The gym gets a 3-star as well. It has a good set of dumbbells, 3 treadmills (one needs repair) and a few more pieces of equipment. The monthly subscription is in the 20k range at the time of the visit. You have to pay a thousand Naira for registration.

The hotel was well maintained and their services are top tier. I enjoyed a fitness session in the morning and a nice swim. Generally a cool location to go chill out.

The hotel is fantastic. I have stayed there twice. First in September 2021 and the second time now in April, 2022. Here are a few points: 1) The service by the receptionist was very poor and slow both times. I had to wait and wait before my room was finally ready. 2) The rooms I got were spacious, nice beds, AC and Tv worked perfectly and the view was awesome as it faces the very busy Wetheral road. 3) The cleaning staff was quick and did his best not to disturb me. The towels and bed sheet was neat. 4) There is a lift, It works well but can be slow at times if there is traffic. The weightlessness feel is a bit to much, maybe it is because I am used to better lifts. 5) My meal at the restaurant was fantastic 5/5. It cost 3k back in September, 2021 (my best 3k spent on food) the jollof rice was amazing. I heard their chef then was a "Calabar woman", if you know you know.

This place is located at Owerri municipal and it has a good and sound terrain with uninterrupted power and Wifi supply.. it is Good for occasion and vacation

Their hall is not that spacious but is convenient and friendly. It has a good view. There's a pool inside the hotel.

My stay at Rockview was very lovely. They gym was very functional. Charging spot was not close to my bed at a very uncomfortable point in the room. The elevator felt cranky and generally seemed to be needing renovation but apart from that, it was very comfortable to lodge in. Breakfast buffet was a delight also.

The Hotel is a very good place, the rooms are superb, it's location is strategic as it's near the center of the town and near the government House, it's services and security are top notch.

Having lodged in Rockview Hotel Apapa and Abuja, Rockview Hotel Owerri was a terrible experience. Apart from the unprofessionalism displayed by the workers, the hotel probably has the most incompetent housekeeping staff ever. My room was 'cleaned' below expectation; bathroom remained filthy with dead insects on the walls from previous guests; wash basin area was an eyesore; and you dare not look out the window, the filth will spoil your good day. Management needs to do something. A hotel of this level should do better. I mean, how do you explain the use of plastic buckets for hand washing at the entrance of the hotel and in the Restaurant? How much will it cost to install a decent and proper wash basin? I'm so ashamed to be honest!

Their customer service has reduced so it's no longer a four star hotel in Owerri. That's why I gave it a 3 star here. I'm being honest. I was not satisfied with their services in the two events I attended there this year at Amaechi Hall.

The rooms are spacious and neat. The toilet is a disaster. After each bath, the floor is flooded.

It was home away home. I enjoyed the 10 days i wasnthere with the best choiced breakfast. Rockview is a place to view the town and lots of good things. The taxi service is so nice.

Friendly staff. Responsive. Hot water does not last through shower otherwise very thrilling experience. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Manager Victoria was very handy and personable. She provided excellent customer skills.

The quality of their food is zero and they need to work on their dining room ambience. It's old-fashioned and not welcoming. One of their lift has been out of service for quite a while.

Rockview Hotel has some of the worst customer care and environmental hygiene. The room table and chairs are so dusty. There are a lot of false advertisement, they don't even let you warm heat your food up with their microwave. In general they have no common courtesy toward customers, I understand that Nigeria doesn't have the best economy, but in order to be rated as one of the best hotels, you have to out work and perform better than the other competitors around the area. I have no clue how they received a 4.1 rating. To be honest, I would rate rockview as a 2.1.

It's very secure, and close to Imo state government house. It's also one of the oldest hotel in Owerri. But they need to do something about there rooms, intense of new beddings and furnitures

Never said I hate the place. In fact, it's a wonderful place, situated in the heart of Owerri urban area and sharing neighbours with "Douglas House", the abode of Imo State governor and also the police headquarters. So security is assured here. Hospitality and the ambience of the place is top notch. Make it a date and real too to visit there, you will never regret it.

The place is close to the state government house and the Police State Headquarters, thus, the security presence is high there.

It's one of the secured place to lodge, relax and have a good time when in Owerri... though no clubbing at the moment.

I honestly don't know why it isn't a 5 star hotel. Everything from room service to the hotel in general is top notch. Clean hallways, Decent meals, clean pool and lounge area. Will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend.

The hotel structure is okay, but the room I lodged fridge wasn't functioning and also the bathroom sink was bad.
