    NHK BSを見ていて、思いだしました。子供の頃、小山市に住んでいて、自宅の近くに駅東公園が有りました。そこには、SLが有ったので子供の頃はそこに遊びに行くのが、好きでした。

    小山駅から白鴎大学の横を通るとこの公園がある。結構広い敷地の中にオブジェのような遊具とSL、広場がある。月曜日の昼下がり、ほとんど人はいない。

    SLが静態保存されており、曜日・時間限定で一般公開されています。 公園の敷地面積が広く、災害時の避難場所に指定されています。

    桜が綺麗に咲き誇っていました。 人も少なく、お散歩がてらのんびりお花見するにはもってこいの場所です。 遊具も少しあるので、子供を遊ばせながらママ友同士でお花見会とかにも良いです。

    貝殻すべり台の公園。メンテナンスもされてきれいでした。 ブランコやジャングルジムもあり一通り遊ぶことができます。 SL展示や広場、桜の木やイチョウの木など四季を通じて楽しめそうです。 駅から歩ける距離でした。 トイレと手洗い場あり。

    公園自体は普通なのですが… 初めて行き駐車スペースが分からず敷地内にあるコミュニティセンターに駐車してしまったところ、時間で閉まってしまいました。初めて行かれる方、駐車場間違えないように気をつけてください。

    遊具は少ない公園ですが、ＳＬが展示されています。 運転台にも上がれます。 他の方の方のクチコミだと、間近で見られるのは曜日、時間限定？ (R5年7月23日)
