Vast greenery in this otherwise concrete jungle. But a lot can be improved like cleanliness, allowing toys for kids to play inside the park etc. but it’s worth a visit with family/friends or even solo trip. Happy stay to you.

It was a wonderful experience today, seeing so many kids from other parts of the city thrive to participate in the competition. A very huge skating arena i have seen till date. Could have been maintained a lot better, so that the new enthusiasts could indulge more in the activity and raise more interest in the sport...

Big and beautiful park for joggers, walkers, kids and for families looking for picnic spot. Lots of trees and plants, lush green grass.. well made seating areas for small to large groups make this a nice place to spend time at any time of the day. Though the park was built with grand plans, lack of maintenance negated many of their initiatives. Biggest drawbacks is an open drainage canal passing through the park, spreading very bad smell and mosquitos. Stray dogs all over park is another sign of poor maintenance. Uncovered Well inside the park is another cause of worry. Nevertheless it is a great place inside the city to catch an evening breath. Beware to accompany your kids at all times in the park. The entry cost was only 10 rs. For children below 6 years of age it's free.

Nicely maintained and clean gardens along the stretch from mosque junction to Lumbini park junction. Quite a few view points along the road which gives a clear picture of the lake. A good number of food vendors and stalls are also available.

Indira Park is a green oasis in the heart of the city. Its sprawling lawns, serene lake, and lush gardens offer a tranquil escape from the urban hustle and bustle. The park is perfect for leisurely walks, picnics, or simply unwinding amidst nature's beauty. With its well-maintained pathways and colorful flowerbeds, it's an ideal place for a morning jog or an evening rendezvous with friends and family. The iconic statue of Mahatma Gandhi adds a touch of history to this picturesque setting. Indira Park is a gem that allows you to reconnect with nature and find respite in the midst of the city's chaos.

Very exquisite collection of art in the art gallery. Have not seen any thing like that before. Worth a visit to the Museum. Also the science museum has simple demonstrative working models of basic physics principles related to optics, laws of motion a and many more. Dinosaurium has a collection of Kotasauraus Fossil excavated from India, Adilabad . A lot more of information on India's space research and satellites 📡. Need 4 to 5 hrs of time to visit this place. You can also see computer evolution from 1st generation till date

Good environment, nice isometric machines to excercise, availability of protein juice , hygienic. Small lake with fish, ducks, and reptiles. Good bird views, specious play grounds, special space alloted to study free of cost. Before 8:00 am every visitor is allowed without fee but later need to pay 10/- per adult / 2/- per children below 6 years. The fee is entry fees.

It's a great place to simply relax. The grass is clean and all the paths are neatly maintained. Kids have a play area. There are benches scattered everywhere. Entry fee is ₹10/-. You can bring food inside the park but please remember to clean up after yourselves. Remember to take a bed sheet with you so you can roll it out and sit on it, just in case the soil is damp. You cannot hear any noise from the outside world and that's the best thing about the park. Outside the park there are numerous food stalls to keep your tummy happy. All in all a great place for everyone.

Located in the centre of Hyderabad, Indira Park is situated near Lower Tank Bund Road near the famous Hussain Sagar Lake. Spread over an expanse of 76 acres, the park has been named after former Prime Minister of the country, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. Amongst the oldest parks in Hyderabad, Indira Park is also one of the most popular tourist spots in the city, frequented by children, adults as well as the elderly on a regular basis. Even though it is located in the middle of the city, it is still quite idyllic and tranquil, where you can spend some time amidst lush green nature in solidarity, away from the chaos of the bustling city. Indira Park is a great place for enjoying picnics with your friends and family. Moreover, it boasts of lush greenery as well as immense natural beauty, which adds to the magnificence of the park. In addition to the lush green and well-maintained garden areas in the park, you can also find many other attractions, such as the dancing fountains, food stalls and much more...

Park maintenance is very bad. Toilets are dirty, No dustbins as the public are throwing the plastic waste everywhere. I enjoyed nature. They are maintaining nature properly but the public facilities are too bad. Children's games are also not good. The slanting was broken and few weren't working. I wish park management would take care of it.

This is one of those parks which are left a bit wild instead of being massively manicured. It has a variety of trees and each season the park looks different. There is an upcoming rose garden with many varieties but needs more tending and a way for all of us to see closely. There are herb spaces too and interesting sculptures. The park is filled with parakeets and there is a feeding area where they come in droves. The park also hosts a large variety of birds and a treat to hear and watch them. Most walkers, runners and excercisers are polite and keep to themselves. But some folks are obnoxious talking loudly, running their mobile phone chants etc loudly. Humans are the noisiest creatures on planet. For those who are wheelchair bound, although a short distance through the park is easy and possible. Beyond that the road becomes dirt road and difficult to maneuver. There are plenty of seats in quick intervals plus grass to sit on. If you are using walker, it is easy to access this seat. There is a lovely little lake with fishes and birds that swoop on these fishes. Hands down it is my favourite park. Also don't forget to enjoy Emerald Mithai shop just outside the gate-- finest chemical-free sweets and snacks. Also Ramakrishna Math next door for a nice meditation. Just a gorgeous serene area

The maintenance of park is good...there are so many different kind of trees and they divided the park into gardens like rose garden and shades runway and bare foot walk...you can find all different types of flowers and trees, medicinal trees and fun part is they got shaped stones like animals, and kids play gorund, lakh with boats and fishing, sure kids will love it...remember to visit bare foot walk garden, walk in the garden without footwear...Once again A Good Place To Spend Weekends With Family & Friends.....

This Park i visited for the first time with my family during my tenure in Hyderabad. Nice place to visited .Lot of Greenery overall surrounded by trees. A beautiful lake between the Park is the additional point of this park. We came for Picnic and enjoyed a lot. There is 10 rs Fee per person to visit. One thing is require is the maintenance of lake and park. The lake is smelling. Also there should be time limit to visit.

Very good place for Walker's and children. There is a lot of playing area for children Here you will get a lot of fresh air in this polluted city. If you sit for some time you feel very relaxed. The main attraction is there is a small lake in the middle of the park but now the lake is polluted because of non maintenance by the park office people, if they clean that lake that would be great attraction for the park and we can use it for boating also

It's a huge park for families with open lawns, beautiful landscaped gardens, walking trails and play areas. Outside the park you can see some street hawkers selling healthy juices in the mornings especially for the health-conscious visitors. Since the park is in middle of the city, it's easily accessible and close vicinity to Hussain Sagar. A must visit especially for family with kids.

A calm and serene place to spend time with your loved ones. The park offers a decent picnic spot and is near to Hussain Sagar. Opposite to it there's Ramakrishna Math.

The park has 3 gates and you can bring in your bike inside the park. It is a very big park and best for jogging or just relaxing. They do offer boating inside the park Lake but it's closed now due to covid restrictions. There are lots and lots of activities and rides for kids.

Indira Park is one of the popular destinations in the twin cities for casual outing with families and for walkers .. Vanabhojanalu (farm dinings) are arranged planned in special seasons like the Telugu month of Karthika. Special facilities like amusement park for children , Herbal Panchatatva park, open Gym and boating are additional attractions in the park. Morning walk in the lush green patches of the park in the early morning is surely a wonderful experience for anybody. A must visit site in the twin cities.

We are fortunate to have such a green & lush park in the centre of our City which also have play zone for kids. Walkers from all the age groups love to walk here If it's maintained properly there is a scope for lot of improvement.

  • 3/5 Sricharan B. 3 years ago on Google
Park is well maintained and very spacious enough. But, sitting areas can be created more or can be improved. The experience compared to entry fee is not that worth... even the park lacks running tracks or the mud road is not that great..

Indira park is a boon to the society. Sorry to say maintance wise not properly maintained. It is becoming a lovers paradise. Family cannot move in freely because of unhealthy atmosphere. Need urgent action for cleanliness. Stary dogs are in plenty. Risk for the children at play. Request the authorities to look into the matter and do the needful. Regards.

Very nice place to visit with children. A lot of area to pay. Various rides for children and adults. Entry fees are 20/- for adults and 10/- for children aging 5-10. Below 5 ye children entry is free. Parking also available with nominal charges. Very quiet and calm environment. Vendors alongside and near entrance are for looting people. The charge min 40% more than the MRP. behaviour of the vendors are very rude. Cleanliness is ok. Some rides are not working. No COVID protocols are following in the Park. Rides are little costly in some view of its standard. Overall ok to family

Good place for walkers in residential area. Lot of gardens. But play area is occupied by collage students and parents of kids than the kids who r under 12 yes. No one cares of safety n quality of play area machines. *There is a sign board that strictly for under 12 yrs* but sadly no one cares of it

Even after so many years, this park still has the charm. Nicely maintained, lots of trees and good amount of shade. In the morning hours, the park is buzzing with crowd (of all ages) coming there for jogging, running, relaxing and walking. They even have a skating track next to the park. Outside the park, you have fruit and vegetable vendors so you can just grab from the options they have, not having to especially go to a market.

It's always fun and soothing at same place whenever we visit this place in winter evenings, specially when you don't get the awful smell emerging from tank bund lake it feels soo good🙂. I would love to visit this place again and again this February since the climate is cool here these days hopefully it would remain as cool and as peaceful as it is.

1)New boating facility is good with decent water. 2)Vey Bad maintainance of washrooms. Hope GHMC Watches it. 3)Good ambience witth much green cover. 4)Morning Jog is also recommended 5)It is at the heart of the city beside tank bund road, opposite RK Matt. 6)Do visit( EMERALD Sweet shop )at the entrace of the park .They are eco-friendly and products are made of cow milk.much recommended to visit as it is healthy.

The park features a range of play equipment, including swings, slides, and climbing structures, as well as open spaces for children to run and play. Customers have also praised the cleanliness of the park, with many reviewers noting that the park is well-maintained and free from litter. A bit of time to time maintanence is required, quality of water needs to be investigated. Play area can be more expanded and Greenery was the major missing in plants and in garden! No cleanliness in washrooms and no facility of canteen within the park.

One of the busy and vast park in Hyderabad. Located at the lower tank bund. Very good park to enjoy nature and spend time with family & children or a kind of picnic. Also very nice track for walking & joggers. Playing area for kids, public gym and boating also available. Maintenance is also good nowadays.

What a peaceful place it is, we visited this place on Ganesh Nimarjanam time, participated in Nimarjanam(They gave free pulihore though), And the boating is so cool, cost is just 50rs, Lots of statues of our great ancestors who fought for freedom and justice and spirituality, to get inner peace it's a perfect place, beware of bushes
