Good outside area close to seafront. Very long queue at bar but used the app and food and drink arrived very quickly. Carol the waitress was the shining light amongst an unhelpful staff, she worked hard but was always smiling and had a friendly word for everyone.

Lovely meal too many chips as usual. Ordered everything on the app. So only interaction was when they bought meal and drinks to me. Dessert was fruit and ice cream which nearly went away as I had to get my milk and sweetener for my tea. Which IMHO should have been bought to me with the tea. Which is why I gave 3 stars for service. When you are disabled it wasn't easy for me to get to the milk and refill area.

Refused use of the blue light card. 3 meals were cold, bar staff not pleasant.... Won't be returning. They could have at least checked for me. Please inform the employees that the blue light card along with another photo ID is acceptable for 10% discount on all food and drink orders.

Had a very strange experience at this venue.they have a policy of no dogs allowed which is clearly signed outside the entrance .being a 58 year old single visitor with my french bulldog companion I heeded the sign and sat outside on the street where there are a few benches .I group of customers offered to watch my dog whilst I entered the pub to order a drink .when I returned one of the staff approached me and asked me to leave as it's a no dog policy .I was on the street outside the dog didn't enter the pub .people smoking out there other dogs walking past on the pavement I was shocked .I asked the other customers on the nearby benches if I was causing them any issues.which the unanimously decision was no not at all .I understand there might be licence rules .but during sitting on a bench in the street wasn't causing anybody any problems.but asked to leave .

Great position for this place. Shame the beer garden is no more. Seagulls are a problem if you eat outside. They could put netting up like other seaside places. Steak was cooked perfectly, could have counted the amount of peas though! People do like to break the rules though when it comes to not using the dedicated smoking area and the staff are quick to respond. The service is really good and the staff were very attentive to making sure the youngsters were old enough to be ordering alcohol.

The awesome weatherspoon! Near the railway station and the beach. Cheap alcohol and food. They do some lunch time discounts too! Always love any weatherspoon!

A really nice and cozy place. Plenty of space inside and tables also in the back garden. Very extensive menu, from breakfast to dinner at absolutely reasonable prices. The choice of beers is very wide. At the table you can order and pay with a special mobile app or simply go to the bar. The right place to stay, alone or with friends 👍

Very poor customer service. Visited on 22/01/2022 and staff laughed at a child with disabilities after they asked for toast which was on an earlier menu. In this day and age it's just not acceptable and they should be ashamed. When challenged regarding their behaviour, the staff (including manager) just laughed and suggested we go somewhere else which we did.

I simply cannot believe how disgusting this establishment is. The ceiling is covered in dead flies, tables not cleaned and food all over the floor. Food was cold and hard, cutlery dirty. Staff uninterested, too busy standing around gossiping. Baring in mind we were dining there first thing in the morning, had they left the place in such a state over night? Or just never cleaned?

I'm sorry, but when I pay for a fillet chicken burger, I'm expecting at least three. I'm also expecting, on a burger tomato, possibly onions lettuce etc. This was two strips of chicken with a minor amount of lettuce. Do not order this! No burger does two tiny bits of chicken, let alone no tomato etc. It was pretty rubbish. And to think, I paid for that?!! DO NOT?

Typical Wetherspoons, reasonably priced beer and nice atmosphere. I didn’t eat any food but everyone else was. Pretty busy foe a Tuesday and quick service via the app. Other Wetherspoons could learn from this pub.

Busy Spoons pub even in the afternoon in January. Free wifi. 2.39 a pint on most cask beers.

Great food recommend the chicken tikka masala, family dishes were great aswell. Only one bit that threw us off we sat outside and our food came to are table and the waitress said no dogs allowed after we’d received are food, which there was a sign outdoors on the door but it didn’t indicate whether dogs were allowed in or out

We came in here just as the Saturday night crowd was starting to frequent the place. This was again a fairly unremarkable branch however I can imagine it gets lively at weekends in the summer.

The main meals & breakfasts are lovely, good prices & generous portions. Friendly hard working staff. But the desserts are shockingly small for the money. The portions are more child size than adult you don't get much at all. Very disappointing, we bought cakes on the way back to the apartment. Also it's such a shame that dogs aren't allowed, as our family had to split up on holiday and go elsewhere. I think well behaved dogs should be welcome as most are in other places, it's the owners that are the issue. A section for dogs only would be good :) would have given 5 stars if dogs allowed.

This pub is generally very busy so finding a table can be a bit tricky at times. But on the visits we made, service was quick for drinks and food. The only minor downside is that there can sometimes be quite a few cold drafts that seem to get you no matter where you sit. 😅 We have always had the food well cooked and served quickly and hot. For its price and food availability we couldn't fault it.

Nice interior, sweet outdoor area. Food came quickly and well cooked. Polite serving staff. Would come again. Thanks!

You don't go here for food as it is pretty poor , quite offended cold or lukewarm, its all about speed to them , get orders. out of the kitchen within 10 minutes. The only good point with Wetherspoons in general is the price of the beer.

Eggs Benedict looked rather nice, traditional breakfast was normal/average (quality of egg and bacon was poor but that’s the same with every Wetherspoons) Traditional breakfast was served over 5 minutes after the Benedict which was annoying Remember when a traditional breakfast was £2.99 and well worth it, now at £4.50 without a drink included I’m not too sure. Black pudding was an extra £1.15 Nice outside seating facing the park

Plenty of tables but VERY busy. I had to wait for a table, but luckily, not for long. Only a few tables at the bottom of some stairs on entrance. No wheelchair access that I could see to go up to the next level, so seating is hard if it is full. Toilet on very top level, lots of stairs to go up! Staff were really friendly. Food and drinks arrived quickly.

Lovely atmosphere! Food was nice! Staff are very busy and helpful! First time we was served, the cod and chips dish was not up to standards, but was quickly rectified with a different dish on the menu and was very satisfied! Second visit we ordered the same Chicken Wings and Chips dish after trying to order the recommended dish of the day which was Curry Dishes, as several attempts to order online was saying that the Curry Dishes was finished but when we spoke to one of the Staff they said there was plenty in the kitchen! Clear error on the online site! Toilet was a trek from the restaurant area, hard work for those with any difficulty in their mobility, as we did witness several people struggling going up and down the stairs leading to the restroom area as we was seated next to the stairs! Not sure if these persons were aware of any other disabled toilet access!

Arrived late pm for a snack type meal .The pub was busier than we expected. 2 local customers jumped up and gave us their table for 6 as there were 8 of us. They sat in a smaller table that was a bit squashy to be honest. It was extremely kind of them.3 of us got a small table nearby. Later removed a 4 table on the end of the 6 table to be seated together. The food arrived hot and tasty and fast . We chose 9 of the small plates( 3 lots of 3 ). It was super Then my daughter tried to move her chair closer to be able to eat easier. The chair seat flew away from the bottom of the chair and a staple went through her finger. We asked the waitress for a first aider. A guy arrived called Ashley (?). He was kind and helpful. He dressed her finger and took details for an accident form. We hope that the finger will be ok. We were a little disappointed that no Manager came to see us. No one offered us a free drink (?). It was their chair after all. I felt someone in charge should have at least come across to view the damage. Ashley told us to enjoy the rest of our day.

Exactly what you expect - really cheap - two pints for £5.04 - I had the beef Madras and chips - the food was delicious - great position backing out on the park - excellent quality and really good price

Some people don't like spoons, but I do, and this was one of the better ones. Friendly and helpful staff and of course cheap food and drink. Food I find is generally good in spoons and value for money, no complaints at all. Enjoyed my visit.

A large almost Seafront Spoons. Plenty of seating and an area of the back with extra seating in the park area. Busy but served quite quickly. Had food here before and it's usual decent Spoons standard. Service was good, the Ale was well presented and excellent. Often stop in on a coastal walk, no parking but there is limited public parking.

A very large pub with plenty of inside seating. At the time of visiting around 10.45 am a very Happy crowd of people in residence with an assortment of coffee, breakfasts and drinks being enjoyed. A very friendly atmosphere with good pleasant staff. And the prices are low. Must say I have no idea what it's like on a evening or when the holiday season happens.

Very busy during holiday season but staff went over and above to accommodate our group despite the fact we hadn't booked. Food was typically Weatherspoons but had a steak which was cooked as requested and pretty flavourful. Although a bit of a tourist trap it's quite a nice bar inside, cozy with a bit of a rustic feel.

Top place to relax with food and drink, whether breakfast, lunch or evening meal. Met and chatted amiably with local character, by cosy fireplace. Most enjoyable, expect it gets really busy holiday season in this wonderful seaside town.
