The hotel is great, did find the room entrance and bathroom a bit small and a tight squeeze when having a massive case after the holiday. But rooms where brilliant and beds comfy and warm. Breakfast is hot and filling and staff so friendly. Also thank you to the staff who do the night shift because they were so helpful and pleasant and helped us people who were tired and probs grumpy so thank you. Very close to the airport as well.

Overall, if you are flying out of Glasgow, this is the place to stay as you walk out of the hotel, cross the street, and you are inside the airport terminal. Its that easy Rooms were fine, slept well Restaurant served amazing food. Absolutely delicious meals and deserts. Service was great at the restaurant The checkin lady could use some customer service lessons. When checking in, the lady we got was short and contrite

It literally took us about 1 minute to walk across the street into this hotel!! That alone makes that stay worthwhile - but in addition, the rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and everyone on staff at the hotel was very kind, helpful and pleasant. Car rental was just a quick walk from the hotel, too. We highly recommend staying here.

I've reserved a room for four people with the following features: - Spacious layout. - Equipped with a heated towel rails. - Includes a Bluetooth speaker. - Unfortunately, experiences noise disturbances from the nearby airport throughout the night. - The heater is insufficient for adequately warming the room; it's rather small.

The reception staff were friendly enough and the rooms were comfortable for the night. The food menu wasn't great at all and the service was very poor. They took our order and then we had to wait for our drinks after we received our food on mentioning this to a waiter. We weren't very impressed to kick off with as we had to wait for 1 1/2hrs to get a table

Room was very nice and quite large. Hotel is perfectly located next to the terminal. However 2 of the 3 staff doing nothing on reception waved me away without even making eye contact so I had to wait till the one staff member checking another guest in was free. It was after 9 pm. I’d had weeks of travelling for work and had a very early flight the next day. I then overheard a female staff member being appallingly rude and argumentative to two people who had been given incorrect info regarding leaving the hotel car park. Customer care skills training badly needed

For an in-transit hotel stay. It perfectly met the needs of our family. Being mere steps away from the main terminal, it’s a perfect option for early morning departures. The hotel itself appeared to be up to date and in good condition. Staff were professional and courteous. The rooms were good and I found the bed to be comfortable. I would absolutely use this hotel again during future visits back to Scotland. Having a nice place to stay overnight right at the terminal took a lot of anxiety and stress away for our travels home.

We stay here about 3 weeks ago for one night. The location is great, just across from the airport terminal, which is why we chose it. Check in and room was terrific. The restaurant paid particular attention to food allergies that was impressive, accolades to the chef and servers. The food was okay too. Early checkout was unfortunately costly.

Expensive due to Airport location. Room was tired, bathroom fittings loose and bath not clean. Had booked dinner bed and breakfast one night . Evening meal was terrible , fish n chips....soaking in old grease/ oil . Breakfast was much better and edible.

Great hotel on doorstep of airport. Had a minor problem as to getting into the car parking area as no.sign post but 3 Rd time lucky. Other minor gripes were the bricks they called pillows and a very uncontrolled air con system. Good service quick check in helpful staff clean tidy room. Great shower /bathroom

Nice and easy place, very close to Glasgow Airport, 3mins walk. There's a Holiday Inn Express also around the corner, I ended up there while I was trying to get here, so keep that in mind. I had a decent dinner with my friend. She had a sirloin steak with mushrooms, I had a pork steak. Started off with cheesy nachos πŸ˜‹ and grapefruit soda. The waiter was pleasant The room was also pleasant. Fairly spacious, well lit, cozy bed, clean towels in the bathroom. It felt a bit cold in the room and we tried to turn on the heating but it took long before the temperature changed and became a bit warm It was disturbing to notice that the teacups were dirty, though they were turned upside down. I wanted to make a cuppa but dirty cups?! More concerning was the clean-check card they had placed on the desk as a testament of the cleanliness...

Excellent location, directly across from the airport terminal. Surprisingly quiet for being next to the airport. Rooms were comfortable with air con. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Left luggage room available. Breakfast was good with a decent selection of options.

Room was clean and comfortable. A little all, but good enough for an overnight stay before my early morning flight. They have tissues and an iron in the room, which my 5 star resort hotel abroad did not. We ate in the dining room. Pizza was good but way too big for just me, and the rooms don't have fridges so couldn't keep the leftover pizza overnight. Service in the restaurant was excellent, very prompt and friendly.

The location is great for an early flight the next morning. The room decor could be upgraded. I would have like more sockets, particularly by the bed side table, where the USB plug to charge my phone did not manage to fully charge my phone over night. However the restaurant is convenient and had a good variety for anybody. The service was attentive but non overwhelming.

Stayed there with my husband on the last night of our honeymoon so we could catch our first flight on the way home the next day. My husband emailed the day before to ask about holding our luggage if we were to arrive earlier than the check-in time - which we didn't end up doing - but Mason was quick to reply to him and said they could do that for us. When we arrived, Mason was also the one to check us in, and he was extremely personable and helpful in later answering our questions. He also took the time to write "Enjoy your stay" with a smiley face, which was very appreciated and thoughtful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and were very happy with the food we ordered! Excellent prices for our meals, and the staff were very friendly as well. Lastly, the room was very nice and clean, and was perfect for our one night staying there. William, the gentleman that had cleaned our room, also left a note for us to "Have a lovely stay" which we also thought was very kind of him to do. All of the towels in the bathroom were nicely placed and the bathroom itself was spick and span. The only two "issues" (if you could call them that) were that 1.) the door to the room was a little difficult to get open and 2.) that the bed was made of two separate mattresses that we couldn't keep together on the one bedframe, so we kept getting a small gap in between the two. However, neither one was really of any consequence and did not in any way negatively impact our stay. As a matter of fact, I thought the bed there was more comfortable to me than the one we had had for the other 13 nights at our hotel in Edinburgh! Excellent since we had to wake up early the next morning for our flight and was on planes just about the whole day to get home to the US! All in all, I definitely recommend staying at the Glasgow Airport Holiday Inn! :)

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves a good meal and there's a nice lounge area near the lobby where you can hang out after a long day of traveling. Just a couple downsides - room was a little outdated, but not a big deal for just stopping by for one night before flying out. The king size bed is actually just 2 smaller beds pushed together. Not great for when you're staying with a spouse and they keep separating in the middle. I'm guessing the UK doesn't have the same measurements for King size, and the hotel decided to get as close as possible to US standards, but I'd honestly rather just have a single mattress that's a little smaller. The heated towel bar also didn't work in our room. Besides that, it was a pleasant stay.

We originally were put in a room that was more like a roadside motel. Lots of work was going on in the hallway to our room. The air conditioning was not working and it was pretty stuffy. We talked to a maintenance man in the hallway and he hurriedly found us a fan. This was not what we felt we had paid for, so spoke with the front desk and they put us in another room 3 floors up which was much nicer and the air conditioning worked. The location is perfect - walk out the door and into the airport.

Unfortunately the air ventilation system in the room was out of order so there was no air flow at all, and the temperature in the room felt like it was 100 degrees. The windows do not open so there was no way to get any air circulation. When I complained about it they brought me a portable plug-in fan which helped but I had to keep the door to the main hallway propped open until I went to bed to get it cooled down enough to make it tolerable and breathable, which compromises privacy and security. Rooms where the air ventilation system is out of order should not be rented until the system is fixed. On a positive note, the food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

The hotel is good for the location, you can walk to the terminal without worrying about the traffic or anything. Room and bathroom were very small, no place to move around when you keep two bags. The towels were torn, I would appreciate if they pay bit more attention and cleanliness for the rooms. The bar, Starbucks and the cafe serves good food. Important note: They serve continental breakfast from 5am and hot breakfast from 6am. If you are new to the area you will get confused on how to enter this hotel if you are driving. Make sure you stay on the line that says Drip off (10 mins) or something like that. If not google maps will take you to the car park area.

This hotel is splendid situated, right across the street from check-in. This is the second time I have stayed here and the rooms are old and need work, especially the bathrooms. The room I had was caked in dust, but housekeeping came right up and cleaned it for me. 100% will stay here again though because of the location and friendly staff.

We were located in Holiday Inn as a refugee. We had comfortable double room for family. It's clean and wide enough. Breakfasts are tasty and at suitable time. One inconvenience - windows are blocked, you can't open them.

Great hotel, right next to airport, really handy for early or late flights. Beds are massive and really comfy. Lovely shampoos, body wash and moisturiser in the bathroom. Iron and hairdryer in room. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in room. Staff really friendly. Recommended

Very convenient for airport. Public areas of hotel such as lobby, restaurant etc are very pleasant, but my room was not great. There was no heating in the room as A/C wasn't working, so spent the night freezing. Room was in reasonable condition, but well in need of a refurb, particularly the bathroom which looked old and tatty. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

We had an over night stay here with a parking deal, at a reasonable price for an early flight. Parked car, kept keys and was taken to our Holiday Inn by mini bus. Easy check in, room was clean and tidy albeit a bit tired. Staff were nice and friendly. Decent nights sleep then just a walk across the road to the airport. One star knocked off simply for the tired room however great value nonetheless.

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn a number of times for ordinary airport reasons, and this time it occurred to me that the staff is pretty much always really lovely and helpful here. The food's not bad and the free pens are the good kind! The airport's just across the road and you can even grab nice little tasties at the M+S over there (I think they're even open until 11 and the Gregg's claims to be 24 hours). However, this Holiday Inn will email you once a week until you die, I don't know why. I unsubscribe and unsubscribe and unsubscribe I just can't seem get rid of them.
