This Palm Desert park has much to offer. There is an enclosed Dog Park; a walking trail; Basketball courts; Softball fields; Soccer fields; Pickleball courts; Sand Volleyball; Children playground; and a large parking lot. So why a 2 rating? The park has been taken over by people who are being privately paid to teach, mostly young children, how to play a sport. But more importantly, so many people let their Dog off their leash outside the Dog Park. There is no monitoring of the Dog leash law and soon, like Civic Center Park, a pup or person is going to get hurt.

Lots of grass, two fenced in dog parks within (1 for small dogs & 1 for Larger dogs), baseball fields, soccerfield, tennis courts, kids playground, and basketball courts. Sidewalk path goes all around the park for some good cardio. Everyone is friendly and respectful. Enjoy!

Great pickleball courts; however, no organization, had to put paddles on ground for lineup, no posting of play lineup. Was a cluster since we were there practicing for Nationals

Mostly nice park. Been here twice in the last week. Grass is severely over watered. Insufficient parking. Would be bad to come here when they're busy because there would be no place to park. Their baseball fields were damaged by recent flooding since this park is by design, as should be all parks, a flood control basin. The park was flooded and when the water receded it left behind up to a foot of silt that it carried down from the hills. The tennis courts and baseball fields and one bathroom are indefinitely closed to remove the now hardened mud. I've only seen 4 guys working here cleaning up and making repairs. At the rate they are progressing they will retire before the work is done. They need big dump trucks and skip loaders. The little dingo they are using is not going to get the job done. Also traffic getting out is miserable. Traffic on Country Club road is so bad that it took us 27 minutes to go just 1.6 miles. Be prepared to sit in your car and go nowhere.

Great park, I think the floods knocked out the lights so any activity at night is a no go but the park is safe and clean. Great for barbecue and family events.

Super clean park, and if you go when it's 110 degrees out (like I did), nobody is there!

Beautiful park with pretty much every sports amenity you can think of from basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickle ball, baseball, etc with a lot of open field as well as a quality jogging route around the whole park. Very clean with a great Freedom like theme. Love training my clients here.

Nice park and facilities. Been here a few times for the kids baseball and the fields look to be nicely maintained and manicured. There are three baseball fields each with a set of metal bleachers as well as two separate tiers to spectate from. One at field level and another about 6 feet higher which is at the elevation of the rest of the park. Unfortunately there are no outfield fences. So any home runs would be considered in-field as apposed to out of the park home runs. Besides baseball there are a few full basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a football field, a large open grass area and two separate playgrounds.

Beautiful park with plenty to do. Soccer field, baseball fields, tennis court, basketball court, playground and restrooms. Also 2 dog parks dependent on the weight of your dog. There is also a concrete walking trail around the entire park. Great time to spend with families with the included picnic tables and charcoal grills throughout.

One of my favorite parks during the busy months in the desert. Both our children and adults want to be around other people. This is the kind of place to come and just be around other and enjoy how nice this spot is.

We played pickleball here. It's a great park and we'll kept. But they lock the bathrooms up in the evening. The guy locked them up just as I was going towards them, which was unfortunate!

Great park near the RV campground we were staying at. Lush grass is a nice change from all the sand. Well lit at night. Safe and open walking areas for the dogs.

Family oriented with beautiful trees. A school nearby and may confuse the driver upon entering. Pass the school driveway, and you get to Freedom Park. The children at the school only add to family outings and happy memories.

This is an extremely clean park and even has soap in the restroom dispensers. I don't recall seeing any trash within the vicinity. It's large in size with gated off tennis courts, basketball courts, and 3 play areas. It's a great spot for parties on weekends and is large enough to leave space for those just visiting the park.

Just a great well maintained park. Lot of space for sports. Baseball fields, basketball courts, pickleball and tennis courts, two playgrounds, dog parks, plenty of space for any other outdoor activities, gazebos for get togethers, and the list goes on. Feels very safe too.

Beautiful scenic views. Clean and family oriented plus set ups for gathering or birthday party. Bring your dogs or take a solo run through it. Skate Park also. It's blessing each time I fellowship here may God continue to Bless this particular location 💖🙏😎
