It was an enjoyable and memorable stay. The hospitality was good. Friendly staff which we see putting on a smile always. The facilities was kind of complete. There are children room, gym room and 3 swimming pools (1 kid's, 1 adults and another 1 saltwater adults pool). The compound of this resort was very large which all the small buildings all over the place. The one we choose was a family suite, suitable for big family. Connected rooms. The balcony sea view was amazing. Bathroom comes with a bathtub which look like a jacuzzi but was not. There is no lock function on the bathroom door. Room was clean and comfortable. Accessible to the beach easily from our room. Just a few minutes walk to the opposite of the resort entrance was a place you will be able to find restaurants and bar. This resort is not far from Cenang Beach area.

Probably one of the better places I've been to in years. Clean and tasteful decor, efficient and attentive staff. It was truly a pleasure staying here. Facilities are all up and running on time and the ambience is totally captivating. Rooms and baths are clean and well maintained. But most importantly, staff are incredibly courteous and on the ball. The whole package makes it a really wonderful beachside haven to sit back and relax. I can't wait to plan my next visit. Special appreciation to Mr Anthony and staff for making our stay so memorable.

Stayed 2 nights here, April, 2022. We really liked this place, though it is a bit “tired.” Definitely needs some maintenance, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and we liked the relaxed, homey vibe. It’s a large property, right on the beach, fairly quiet when we visited. The breakfast buffet was limited but convenient, for the price (RM40) and we enjoyed the evening “Ramadan” buffet. We had a “partial sea view” villa, close to the beach and pool. If I ever went back to Langkawi, I’d stay here again.

The front desk staff are extremely outgoing, helpful, and funny! They kept us entertained when we were checking in and out. The entire resort has great facilities and definitely encompasses the authentic beauty of Malaysian nature. The rooms are well-equipt. The resort is a bit aged, but it gives the entire experience a sense of nostalgia. Absolutely no problems encountered. The breakfast options are slightly limited, but it is overall decent.

I visited Langkawi for the first time and I couldn’t have chosen a better resort than Frangipani. The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly plus the property had some amazing facilities to offer. Even after we checked out of our room, we left our luggage at the reception. When we returned from our island hopping tour we were soaking wet and the manager offered us a room to shower and freshen up. It was a kind gesture and made our last moments on the beautiful island a little more comfortable. Whenever I visit again.. I’m definitely staying here!

We had a superb experienced, i with my wife and two kid stay for 3 days and 2 nights. Along the stay all the staff was great with personal attention. We would like to stress up here for great hospitality from Ms Carolyn who run the place with charisma. She made a warm welcome with refreshing drink. Next day we went for breakfast, and she can identify us. We are vegetarian and she knew it and bring around to show those vegetarian option. She went table to table and address each and everyone personally. Which exceedingly rare. The location so strategic and room just straight to sea view with beautiful scenic surrounding. More nature activity, gardening, and a lot more on going. We attend one of activity – Coloring class with my kid and we enjoy the whole session. Travel distance to Pantai Cenang – eye witness the late-night fire show and had our dinner are nearby North Indian Restaurant. Back hotel late night with all our extra goodies. Hotel staff stop and turn toward us and help us carry our bags and we had a tireless ride with buggy. If we happen to come to Langkawi again, this is only place we decided to stay and already intro to my fellow friends and family. We will visit again end of this year or following year with more big groups.

Very nice resort. Location directly at sea with an amazing view, super beautiful. The beach is amazing and you have options to enjoy it in the shade. All stuff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a huge variety and dinner is also really great, not cheap but really good. The room is big, very comfi bed. The bathroom furnitures could be newer but the outdoor shower covers for it, so amazing with even plants on a side. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our first-ever trip to Langkawi was exceptional, and our stay at Frangipani was definitely the highlight. From amazing amenities to breathtaking views all around, the resort is truly rejuvenating for people who are tired of living in concrete jungles. The service was exceptional too - huge shout outs to Mrs. Mary, Ms. Mela, and everyone else who looked after us really well!

It was a really nice a quiet stay. It offers a good personal beach, good morning breakfast, secluded beach and a lot of area to walk around. I found the staff really nice and helping. Over all it was a really nice and a lovely stay. P.S it really close to a lot of the good stuff

We came to have lunch at the restaurant (we were not hosts). Food was really tasty mainly the Asian dishes. Beach views and nice staff (the manager came to say hello to us and introduce herself)

Strategic location. Lots of restaurants and cafes on nearby Cenang Walk. The resort has a private beach too which is the USP of this place. Rooms are clean, but look old. The room service is pretty quick and an issue with the tap in washroom was resolved within minutes. Plenty of parking available on the premises.

A very nice Resort in the mid range affordability in Pantai Tengah. Very good beach. Less crowd . Cleaner water. Nice rooms. Beautiful view of the sea and the outlying islands. Pretty. Nice and friendly staff. Helpful. Comfortable room. Adequate parking. Conveniently located. Walking distance to the hot spots of Pantai Cenang. I have always returned to this property whenever I get to Langkawi.

I went for some coffee and drinks. Staff and Atmosphere are great! Perfect place to chill on a sunny day with a good beach access for sunset ☀️. I got a great welcome from Joanna and Way. Also a good yoga class with Molly.

The location was amazing .. so near from all restaurants,bars and duty free. Service was awesome and staff very friendly and attentive. Beach is really clean and well maintain. Will come again soon for sure😀😀 The room was awesome and clean and big. Thanks for the birthday arrangment too 😊😊😊

If you like natural environment, this is the place for you. Secluded and surrounded by greeneries at your cottage. During special season they are special earth events i.e 🌿 herbs , birds discovery by the owner of the hotel. The private beach is very clean and beautiful! Long stretch of soft sand of Pantai Cenang. Surprisingly there is a black rock formations at the far end of the private beach that is good for beach photography!

The hotel is within one minute of walking distance from the beach. Great awesome location. Beach front! Whatever I can ask is all in this hotel. The food, the hotel amenity, the location, etc. Will sure come back again.

I stayed here during the Langkawi Airshow (LIMA23) and it was a wonderful experience. Staff were great and very helpful, making my stay a memorable one. The beach is extremely beautiful with private access from the property. I would definitely return…

Charming eco friendly resort with standalone rooms. Quiet place to unwind as it’s tucked away from the crowds but yet very accessible to the main area. Sunset view to die for! Service is also amazing and look out for Carolyn!

Room was clean but the lighting was just too dim. Perhaps some would like it. The television had only 2 channels which made it quite boring. Internet was quite slow sometimes. I got the farthest room from the parking lot which made it quite a walk every time I need to go out. Staff were all nice and friendly. Love the sustainable effort by the resort. I enjoyed their salt water pool.

First time a "4 star" hotel has WhatsApp as room service. Later found out phone not working. Pool towels were issued in the room and that is a reason they didn't want to give me extra towels at the pool. Showed displeasure when we requested for it at the pool. Toilet flushes were not working in one of the hotel lobby toilets. Check in is at 3pm and our early check in was 230pm. Resort seems empty but they didn't give us late check out, insisted we leave at 12pm. However location is good. Quiet and peaceful. For the amount you pay compared to other resorts around the area, this is value for money. However not at the expense if ruining your experience.. All the above mentioned just requires a bit more attention to details by the management.

RACIST RESORT: DON'T GO IF YOU ARE INDIAN WITH KIDS This is not a good resort, especially if you have kids. I am compelled to give this review as the staff was highly RACIST!! Few things to highlight: 1. I requested a king-sized bed two months in advance during my booking. I mentioned that I have a 3years old kid, but they gave me two separate beds; My little one was compelled to sleep in between the joining beds. When I asked them that I requested this, they said that the king size was subject to availability. We booked two months in advance with a special note, wondering what is subject to availability. 2. When my wife requested the chef to cook baby food in the kitchen, the guy said he was busy. My wife literally cried because of this! 3. The housekeeping staff is sleeping. They will clean only the visible area in the room, not even moving a suitcase or, for that matter, a slipper. They will also not arrange the bedding. I was doing that myself every day. 4. When you go to the restaurant, the waiter will avoid eye contact, showing they are busy. So you have to go to them and REQUEST them to take the food order. Then they will come after 15 mins with Menu. A simple lunch took our precious 2.5 hours of vacation time! 5. You ask for a sugar sachet or anything to be delivered to the room, which will take 1 hour. Literally, everyone is sleeping here. They are friendly towards WESTERN tourists and biased towards Asians, especially India and surrounding countries. I strongly advise any Indian family to don't book a room here.

A wonderful stay to say the least...a restaurant and pool overlooking the sea beach which although public is not crowded and a great place for kids. Service is top notch, we were vegetarian group and hearing this chef managed to create special food for us. What more could we ask. There are kids pool, salt water pool for in house stays. Must stay place would love to come back here.

A very beautiful location and staff tried hard, but they're really struggling with the quality of rooms and maintenance post Covid. I liked the concept - individual rooms with lovely greenery around and easy access to the beach. Unfortunately the rooms have seen better days - I didn't have hot water for the 4 days I was there. Rest of the room was a bit tired and worn out Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was buffet. It was ok, but more 3-star than 4 or 5 star. A beautiful spot though with breakfast just behind the beach. I liked the hotel's commitment to the environment, and some of the ways they tried to reflect this (including their kitchen garden tour). Easy walk to the shop and restaurants nearby. I really hope the owners can spend a little to bring things up to standard as it has great potential.

Very strategic location for wind down and enjoy the sunset and beach walking. The staffs are polite and friendly, just there are a little bit of communication issues, which not aligned among the staffs, which conveyed wrong info us for few times. Probably they are new or not properly trained. The room actually is good and fully equipped, even they will prepare brooms and umbrella for you. The the furniture are a bit old, and the floor is not properly clean (still feel the sands). Anyway, the staffs are very supportive when we request or need anything. The resort is quite big, which we need a little work to our room. But the walkway is not bright enough at night, some of the lights at the walkway are not working. Is it because they wanted to conserve energy? 🤔 Overall experience is good. I will recommend to stay in this resort if you like the beach and enjoy the sunset. I would like to visit again when I need somewhere to relax.

Very spacious resort and large rooms with quality wooden furniture, lots of pathways to go for a stroll, the beach is great for swimming and isn’t crowded, clean. Even when the hotel is full you still don’t feel it, the area is large. Separate room for wardrobe, could live there for a month, a week wasn’t enough. Location is the best - can walk to shopping centre and duty free by road or by beach within minutes. Massage and spas right in front of the hotel. Breakfast menu is good - even for vegans like us they had special organic herbs and bamboo shoots, papayas, water melon, melon and all fresh and juicy. Our non-vegan friends were also very happy with the breakfast. Sunset cruise is just minutes drive. Most of the famous seafood restaurants are also in the neighborhood. Rooms are very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Large parking space that always had spaces. Salt water pool was our favourite. 13 min drive from the ferry and about the same from the airport. About 25 min away from the cable car and the sky bridge. Very convenient location, good value for the money, a pleasure to stay there, highly recommend.

Everything was good but the breakfast was such a disaster on all 3 days we have stayed. They were refilling very slowly, no proper complementing curry or meat item with rice, coffee was cold and there was everything to disappoint a guest at the starting of a day. But the location was really great to spend a vacation with friends and family.

Highly recommend, seashore at the side, several pools, very clean. Villa is spacious, not the newest but has its charm. I was lucky enough to have the whole private beach only for me (weekdays trip).

I will always remember this place my whole life. The serene sunset especially. This place will be always dear in my heart, I visited here for my first and last honeymoon before I got divorced. The beautiful sunset and the sound of the waves, throughout with all the memories of laughter and tears, forever will remain. Yes everything changes, and not everything changed into better, including the hotel itself but still appreciate the goodness in it. The frangipani flowers everywhere and the helpful staffs, thank you for being the part of my memories at my highest and lowest.

Great beach view, great place to settle and great vibes. However the family suites are quite a walking distance from lobby. But they have caddy for the luggage, so its fair. staff are friendly but some of them quite arrogant. Luckily their senor/manager are friendly too so its not a big deal. Remember, local or foreigner, we still paid for our 4d3n stay ya 😉. Overall, thanks for the great hospitality :)
