Let’s start with the good Review : the Owner is nice and kind. Unfortunately that’s it with the positive things. Our check-in time was quite past midnight even we were there about 7 p.m. and even after the check in we didn’t know which room was ours to sleep in. An another guest had to call the owner and ask for it. The hostel is in my opinion very dirty & even the new bedsheets were definitely not clean. Also the room was dirty and the bathroom which is also smelly and really disgusting and without toilet paper. The kitchen is also in a bad condition & you definitely don’t want to cook there. Besides the miserable cleanliness some guests have the audacity to take stuff from other guests! So somebody took our beer and our food. It’s an absolutely NO-GO! When we checked out there was another guest who’s waiting for the check in about 3 hours. Of course we told the guest about our experience and recommend him to stay at another place. So it’s definitely not worth your money and sorry about to say that even the kindness of the Owner doesn’t make this mess for a place to stay.

So... probably most previous ratings are true but... I spoke with the owner he did lot changes and is really upgrading.hope he will continue the good work

Owner is top. The service was a little better on my last visit. But check-in is still a bit lengthy. Family atmosphere in a good location. Unfortunately, everything disappears from the fridge.

Not too happy!! Mosquitoes, don't give you something to wrap yourself in, the bathroom is all I'm saying, when the water runs out, Noah's flood comes... the showers are ok! Anyway, I didn't like it at all, at 12 at night the people in the kitchen were cooking and others had done their best to sleep

I liked I will come back again There are grocery stores nearby It is also a market and the famous park lake mall You have a place to buy Plus restaurants and pizzerias It is a quiet area though I slept well I rested well after a hard and long day They had double glazed windows, that's a plus No fuss is made No smoking inside

Everything was dirty i clean my own bed.Thank god I was there for just one night that also i arrived late night.

Ștefan Gravila (“BeiBei”) the manager steals food and harasses the clientele (will come into your room at 3AM naked; drunk) and gets into regular physical altercations (knives and clubs) with homeless people that float around the convenience store across the street. Avoid at all costs. Locker was broken into; everything was stolen. People that work here are thieves. No toilet paper. Filthy bathrooms. Unscrupulous and dangerous staff. After reading about this negative review hostel staff (Gravila and Jamal et al.) tried to use passport scans they saved upon check in and identity information secured inside of a locker they broke into to report my passport as stolen; committing fraud on 6/30/2023 to retaliate for this negative review. If you stay here; you are also at serious risk of identity theft.

Worth not even a Star, from the first minute I enter a Somalian worker scam me asking more money than the price on internet, then the room was not ready when I check in at 3pm , I had to wait then ask 4 times to get a blanket. Beds are dirty same as the manager, the room is full of mosquitoes, I think the manager is a local Romanian, he doesn't care about customers at all, he make noise all night talking by phone, leave the light on, you can see through the glass door of the dormitory downstairs the light of the entrance and corridor and you can hear him walking non stop and recognize him because he looks lost his oxygen , he his hardly breathing because of his obesity. No one was inside my room since I checked in but he pretend someone is inside because the only locker who works and closed was used and the 3 others lockers available don't locked and are broken... I discover when I came back at night , he has stolen from my bag who was open and I know it's him because he entered my room during the night at 3 am... Imagine you are a girl alone at night in the dormitory... He was thinking I was outside or sleeping , bad luck for him he got confused when he seen me awake because I couldn't sleep with all of his noise, I got argument with him during the night asking, what he is doing entering inside my room at 3 am and why don't he respect customers for making noise all night. The manager himself is smoking all around inside the bathroom in front of me and even inside the room once I told him I won't pay more than the price of internet because of all of this , we argue and I left in the morning tired and without sleeping. He tried to reverse the situation and make a video of me, don't hesitate to take pictures and video of his beahivior and reported him as he pretend to be an honest man. He is a thief and he should not run a business like this, he is dangerous person for travellers. I have reported him to the local police for being a thief. He is well known by the police who has receiver other report from tourists and neighbors also complain about him. DON'T GO

Disaster.

This is a homeless place where everyone steals incredible dirt, it’s scary to leave things unattended, the doors don’t close, there are no drawers with locks. What can I say in the room there are no chairs, no bedside tables.
