One of my best experiences in hostels in my eurotrip. Staff was amazing as they were very friendly and willing to help with everything that I needed. They recommended me a place to go for lunch and even offered to cook something for me. They are both great people and I saw how they were constantly cleaning the bathrooms, however other guests were frequently getting them wet or dirty. Rooms were always cleaned and bathrooms too. I was able to meet other guests and we even planed a tour over the city. It was a great experience over all and I would highly recommend it here.

Regrettable experience in this hostel. On the Internet we read that the reception hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. We arrived at the hostel at 8:30 a.m. and after waiting half an hour no one answered us, we had to stay in a cafeteria until 1:30 p.m. when someone finally arrived and when we asked about the schedule they told us that they had been there since 8:00 a.m. when it was completely false. I will definitely not return here, regrettable from the first moment.

If not for the price I would give 3⭐ but the place is good value for money since I stayed in late October so the heat/ac was not a factor. You can't leave the windows open in any event though because lots of mosquitos come in. They open the windows during the day to air the room out which it needs. The place was generally noisy with people coming in/out and making noise in the hall that is small and echos, and also people outside yelling both nights I stayed. One night it sounded like there was a party going on in reception. Not sure what it was but it was loud all night and noise enters the rooms easily. No locks on room doors but large lockers in rooms which was nice. Clean and comfy beds. They keep the place clean as well. I didn't feel safe on our street which personally prevented me from staying out too late. It is a dirt road for some reason, is not well lit at all and has construction going on next door. Close to old town and transit. Overall good stay but not sure I'd stay again.

The staff was super nice and welcoming. By far the best part about the hostel. My main compliant is that there were bunch of mosquitoes in the room because the AC was timed to only operate during the night (so the windows were left open all day) resulting in an annoying amount of mosquitoes. Also, the rooms do not lock but they do provide a decent sized locker in the rooms

The bathroom could do with a bit of upgrading. Shower swung wildly between freezing and burning. Street location the hostel is on looks a bit rough but the area is great. Right across the road from the Old Town. Staff were the only let down. I emailed a few times before my arrival asking to make a change to my booking to no reply. The phone number didn't work. Wanted to drop my bags off but didn't have an opening time for the hostel and no way to contact them so wasted a bit of time going to a from the hostel to check early morning. When I finally dropped off my bags and checked in I mentioned the problems I had and was told, "Yeah, you'll see lots of things don't work". Overall not a bad stay just not my favourite staff.

Sweet lively place that you'll love if you like meeting new people. Everyone is super friendly, guests and staff (hi Austin and Ruben, you're super cool haha) are very open, international and if you want to go out in the evening there's always someone who will be up for either partying or just going to a restaurant in the city. Great location, it's literally 1 Minute by foot from the old town. Would definitely come again!

The staff is so lovely, kind and helpful. I enjoyed the stay there a lot. If you don't have plans for the night just stay there in the hostel and other mates will give you company or even the staff will hang out with you. The rooms were always clean, there is a room with a single shower and a toilet you can lock and inside your room there is a locker where you can put your stuff in (with keys!!). Since it is close to old town you can walk to every cool sight seeing spot. The street where the hostel is located first looks shady and dangerous. But it is not really. Always worth a stay if you are there as a backpacker. :)

In such hot summer time (35 degree everyday) they insist putting air con time limit (only on from 10pm to 9am) and there is NO fresh come in the room. The staff are very friend and polite. The hostel is within walking distance to the underground train station. The hostel in clean and all the bed sheets are changed on every visit. You can do your laundry here for 20 lei and plenty of places to eat outside. I recommend this place to stay, original I book 1 night, but stay here for 5 night. Do try and eat at the local coltea kebab shop on the street corner.

I really liked the location because it was located very close to the old town (although it was sliiightly shady neighborhood). The air in the kitchen and on hallways was a bit suffocating, the AC didn't work properly, showers were meh and I accidentally unlocked my friends locker and it turned out that all the lockers can be unlocked by the same key, which is very dangerous, unprofessional and it lacks safety.

This hostel is great for a bed and a kitchen only but that’s it as there’s no atmosphere here. The only common area is in the reception which is occupied by the workers sitting on the couches on the phones or laptops which doesn’t create an inviting atmosphere to guests - that’s what I experienced personally. The only options to chill out somewhere is either in the kitchen (which is in the basement next to the laundry so it can be quite hot at times) on the limited chairs in reception if you decide to, on your bed or outside of the hostel. Bathrooms, rooms and kitchen are cleaned daily which is a plus. I met the owner and his parents briefly when I was leaving and he is lovely and I hope that things can improve for future guests.

Stayed here two nights - the beds and bathrooms are clean with only 1 shower and toilet per floor but wasn’t an issue if you are okay going between. The kitchen is small and cramped, and the hostel is hot and stuffy as there is only aircon between 10pm - 8am. Toilet paper provided is equivalent of sand paper. The owner, his parents and daughter are a shining light and a friendly face in this hostel, the other staff seem to be more keen on hanging out and listening to music in the common area, where there is always someone working or asleep.

Room was tidy, locker fitted my giant bag, other guests were lovely. The showers arent very good, the Aircon doesn't come on until ten at night, and doesn't really push out cold air. The staff aren't particularly friendly, they're not unfriendly at all, just indifferent. Nice location in old town, close to everything you need. I'd go again, but purely out of convenience rather than experience.

They have a rule no air conditioning until after 10pm which was really annoying, the room was so hot, so people left the windows open and I got attacked by mosquitoes down my legs in my sleep, itchy legs the next day were not nice so I asked them to turn thr air con earlier the next night, which they wouldn't... the two younger guys behind the counter need to work on their customer service also, one of them looked annoyed to have to turn his music down when you wanted to talk to him and the other had no clue what was going on and would always yawn while talking to people and seemed clueless Just my experience staying here

One of the employees was playing music from his phone on the common space, drinking and speaking loud until 02:00. Plus, the common space is a mix of reception and living room, and is not very welcoming for meeting and interacting with other people. No towels were given and in the morning we could not find anyone working in there.

The hostel is just 5 minutes away from the historical centre but at the same time it is separated by a fast speed road: no noise from night life will come to you! The bathrooms are probably the cleanest I have ever seen in a hostel: literally every time I left after the shower, there was immediately somebody cleaning after me. The Best part is the owner himself: he is super friendly and kind. Even though he is not super fluent in foreign language, he shows you around the area to help you to orientate and find the facilities you need. Really really best value for money!!!

We stayed as a big group at the SleepInn hostel over the weekend. Initially, the hostel's vicinity to the city centre is what convinced us to pick it, together with the very cheap price of their rooms. When we arrived, they provided towels and locker keys in many hostels that have an extra charge for these. They were also very accomodating when we asked them to add an extra bed in the room to fit all of us in one only. Moreover, they offered us beer, wine and oranges on arrival which was really appreciated. Overall a good experience without a lot of the usual disadvantages of hostels.
