Everything about this hostel is spectacular! The hosts Carmen and Fernando are amazing. They're friendly, *exceptionally helpful*, and take extremely good care of the hostel at all times. Every part of the hostel is always clean, the bathrooms are amazing, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning is wonderful. During the day the common area is air conditioned and has many sofa areas to rest as well as several tables with plenty of power points to do work on a laptop comfortably. There is also a kitchenette with a water kettle, microwave, and fridge.

Carmen and Fernando are the most amazing hosts I have met! They are very warm and kind, and made sure I felt like I was at home in their hostel! They gave some great tips on things to do and visit in Bucharest. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and modern and the beds are also super comfortable. I have no complaints at all. Don't book any other hostel in Bucharest, this is the place to be!

Fantastic hostel! No complaints at all. The owner Fernando and his wife treat you like you’re family. They go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and help if you have any questions or need recommendations. It was extremely clean and the bathrooms are spacious (big plus as hostels usually lack here). I felt safe the entire time. You definitely get more than what you pay for! Mil Pasos Hostel feels like a home away from home. I will definitely be returning!!

The owners are great hosts, offering so much good advice about what to do in the city. The showers are absolutely amazing and the place is clean and tidy. It's also a small hostel so it's easy to meet people if you want. Easy recommendation on this one. Just be aware that there is no kitchen here, so if you need one look elsewhere.

The hostel is now called "Bedsy" and is run by Carmen & Fernando - The best hostel in Bucharest! Brand new, located in the middle of it all, comfy beds, very clean Bedsy is your best choice in Bucharest. And then there are Carmen & Fernando the most caring, knowledgeable and kind hosts.

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stepped foot in. From the moment my friend and I entered, we were greeted by Fernando and offered a drink. We had a tour of the hostel and had all the rules explained to us. As well as this he gave is all the best recommendations for the old town and surrounding area. Going into the room, he introduced us to everybody who was staying there, which helped us feel comfortable right from the beginning. The room and the showers were spotless. You wouldn't even be able to tell somebody had used them before you they were that clean. No matter the time or problem, there was always someone there on hand, and if there was anything happening in the hostel or around, I felt assured that Fernando would let us know immediately. For those visiting Bucharest, I highly recommend Mil Pasos as it will make your visit 10 times better.

The hostel is very clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the location is perfect! It's not a big hostel so it's good for people who want a quieter place to stay. But it also has a common area where you can meet people. I really recommend the hostel! Btw, I did not see any cockroaches in the 4 days that I was in the hostel and there is no mold in the showers, in fact they are new and modern, But I witnessed the ridiculous discussion of the 2 people in the last comments (who were traveling together) and that's why I decided to do my own rating, the staff has too much patience and they don't deserve that behavior. Keep it up guys!

If you are looking for a quiet and welcoming hostel near the centre of bucharest, this is the best place to stay! Owners Fernando and Carmen are wonderful people who will not only help you out with good recommendations and useful tips, but also chat with you as if you have known them for ages. The rooms are clean and cozy and the bathrooms are very spacious and modern. There is a small kitchen with some dishes and a sink, while in the welcoming little common room you can find a water boiler and a mikrowave. No cooking plates or oven, but that really wasn't a problem for us. Due to the owners' friendliness and open-mindedness, the general atmosphere is great and you get to talk to people easily. If you are looking for a party hostel, this might not be your place to stay, but with the Old Town only 10 min away by walking, you can definitley go out to bars or clubs in the evening and still stay in this amazing hostel. Would definitley return!

A small hostel run by a friendly couple and their hospitality really makes this a great hostel. It’s got a welcoming small hostel social vibe that is good for especially solo travelers. The common area downstairs could be made more appealing, and that’s what keeps me from giving full 5 stars.

Fernando was very nice. Unfortunately, due to COVID19 visa confusions and quarantine, we did not stay and had to cancel. He was extremely patient and kind, though we were not easy clients.

Super cosy and small hostel on the 7th floor of a building. We loved the hosts Fernando and Carmen. Their were nice with us and helpful with everything we needed. They offer breakfast and a plate of pasta for dinner. Totally recommended 😀

This hostel was one of the best ones I ever stayed in, but definitely the most welcoming one. You'll feel like at home there and the lovely couple who runs the place will help you with anything you might need. The location is also great, only 10 min far away from the old town.

Fantastic hostel!! Best bathrooms I have ever seen in a hostel!! Fernando and his wife are always ready to answer any question you have and really care about there guests. Atmosphere is great! They have a good place for working but also a place to relax so great for all ages I found. A kitchen is on the way so soon you will be able to cook there as well! It doesn't have a lot of reviews yet on hostelworld but that's because it's a new hostel but it is truly great!!!

It's been a couple months since I stayed here, but I've been wanting to leave them a review due to them being amazing hosts. I arrived in Bucharest with no idea on what I'd like to do. Right from the start, Fernando understood this and after our initial chat while checking in, I had such a better image of what I could do while in the city. I met Carmen as well and she helped me with recommendations as well and tips on how to get around. I came back to this hostel on my last night in Romania and Fernando and Carmen were as friendly as ever. Their assistance made my time in the city much more enjoyable. The hostel located in a quiet neighborhood and I always felt safe walking around there. It's walking distance from the historic city center and from the city subway/metro system. I stayed in the 12 bed room and got plenty of rest. Coffee was available and a microwave as well as fridge were of use.
