St Nicholas Church is a unique Russian influenced Orthodox Church in old town, with beautiful colourful domes resembling the influence of St Petersburg’s designs. The church is small and a bit dim-lighted but the altar was exquisite as so are the embellishments. The reception was warming, young lady was helpful. The church is undergoing refurbishment, but it is still open for public. It is worth a visit if you have a spare minute or two on hand.

Another beautiful orthodox church. This one located at a quite street. There are many trees around so not easy to get a perfect outside picture, also some work is happening so part is covered. Inside it is really pretty it was really impressive

Its orthodox old Russian architecture church & stand unique in the city. You will feel like in Moscow by its design. It was closed for maintenance. This is must visit place in Bucharest.

A church located in Centrul vechi. Even though it looks like it is under renovation from the outside, it is open and worship is done inside. Entry is free. It can get crowded during ritual times.

I am very pleased I stopped in, as initially I thought it was closed due to renovations. Perhaps the most beautiful church I visited in the centre of Budapest. A calm sanctuary in the heart of the university part of the central district.
