This is my favorite restaurant anyone who gave less than five stars should be arrested and sent to prison with no chance of getting out. The food amazing the service amazing the atmosphere amazing. Who cares if it’s a little busy some times. Gordon Ramsay once said if a restaurant is busy on a Monday that’s how you know the foods good. Do any of y’all that gave less than a five star review think your smarter than Gordon Ramsay that mans a millionaire and owns 46 restaurant so get back in you place and eat at this amazing restaurant owned by amazing people !

This was the best hotdog I've ever eaten. The beef dog itself is girthier than your standard weiner. It's juicy, salty and cooked just enough. The bun itself tasted more like a potato roll. It is not a standard cheap bun but rather is bigger than the weiner itself and allows for plenty of toppings on the dog without spillage. I got the cowboy chilli dog with cheese on it. Look at the picture. It's perfection.

We moved here from Colombia a couple years ago. People told us about a Colombian food restaurant in Scottsdale, and we finally had a free day and drove accross the Valley to try it out. Disappointed that the worker was not from Colombia, would not speak Spanish with us, and did not know anything about Colombian food. The owner did not even ask is how it was when we left, and we were the only customers in the store. I will not rate the food, they are the same hot dogs at Costco for $1.50. There was literally not one single Colombian product in that store. Please do not judge Colombian food by this restaurant, we have wonderful food, and hot dogs are not representative of the culture.

Oh goodness, these dogs were excellent! I wanted to try a Sonoran hot dog, but the other joints were closed until too late, so Simon's promised a close selection. A cousin, in fact. Went for the Sonoran Cousin dog and asked the very helpful employee for a second recommendation - she delivered! The Columbian with a chorizo dog was *delicious* and balanced perfectly with a mild sweetness, heat, and tang that was out of this world. You might think pineapple on a hot dog sounds absurd, and this is coming from someone who does NOT like pineapple on pizza, but even if that's the case, this is worth venturing out of your comfort zone. The pineapple is not overly sickly sweet and does not sog the dog! The Sonoran Cousin we chose with a beef dog and it was a savory heaven. We also picked up an order of the patacones, fried green plantains, and they were also so delicious. Honestly, for $25 including tip, this was one of the best meals we had while in Scottsdale! Casual, cute, and fast service. They also have vegan options, which was cool to see. Definitely will visit again when I'm back in the area.

This place is awesome. A special treat for hot dogs. Support a small family business. They have literally the whole family on deck. The different styles they have are amazing. The amigo is my favorite.

Ask for a side of Simon's sauces for the fried plantains! I got the colombian hot dog, hot dog. Who new pineapple and potato chips went together. Got the potato salad, it is now as flavorful as all the other food. So don't recommend getting unless you're getting a plain hot dog.

Honestly can't believe I'm writing a review for vegan hot dogs.. but it's totally happening! We discovered Simon's at one of the various vegetarian food festivals here in Phoenix and knew we would have to take a trip to their physical store. It did not disappoint! The owner is extremely vegan-friendly and explained all of the various options they offer. We were informed that EVERY menu item could be ordered vegan/vegetarian. In addition, they also have vegan Mac n Cheese and dessert. What's not to love!?

Excellent selection of gourmet dogs. I had the tofurkey dog and my girlfriend got a beef dog. Both were excellent. The choice of toppings is stunning and I highly recommend going out of your comfort zone. There is also a good selection of beer and sodas.

So I've been craving a hot dog. Not just any hot dog but a damn good one. So I found this little place and thought we would give it a try. I have to say they are a bit pricey but the quality of food is spot on. The beef hot dogs are fat and juicy with a nice snap. The homemade chili was so yummy. Now i was a bit scared of the paisita but omg it was delicious. If you are ever in the mood for a good dog then dont even think twice. Give Simons a try. You wont regret it.

Great value for the area! The one with coleslaw tasted really good. Pick a style, pick your meat and pick your side. Really friendly service and the hotdogs were really juicy!

I would give Simon's 1 million stars if I could. Not only is the food amazing, they have vegan options AND the couple that run it are amazing, kind and work to make you feel like a part of the family! Come for the food, come again for the people and come some more for both :)

Quaint spot with fantastic hot dog combinations! Meat for my husband, vegetarian for me, and plain and simple for my picky niece. We made a mistake ordering and the owner was more than willing to help us get it right.

This place wasn't too far from my AirBnB so I had no excuse not to give it a shot! I'm vegan myself, so I tried to support spots that were either fully vegan or had vegan offerings. Simon's has several vegan options and they're hot dogs, so I definitely wanted to give it a go! We don't have much in the way of vegan hot dogs here in Kansas City, other than a food truck that is only active on occasion (often an occasion when I can't make the jaunt out to see them, sadly), so the chance to grab one at a restaurant was too good to pass up. I stopped by Simon's and ordered the cowboy, made vegan, and really enjoyed it. The food was pretty solid--nothing super spectacular, but still really good. It was quick, I enjoyed it, and I could see myself stopping here often if I lived in the area. I'd love to have the chance to try some of their other options, as the cowboy wasn't personally my favorite, but some of the other choices looked good. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to come back and try something new.

I never knew I needed gourmet hotdogs in my life until now. I would even just eat the buns by themselves, that's how delicious they were. The services was great, everyone was really friendly and happy to be there. Will certainly come back when we visit Scottsdale again.

So many good hot dogs to choose from. The prices are reasonable, portion sizes are very nice, and food was super fresh. Ordered the patacones and German dog with sour kraut. DELICIOUS!! Not sure im adventurous enough to try pineapple on my hot dog yet....but maybe next visit. I suggest going early in the day if on weekends as it is next door to a VERY LOUD nightclub which is only reason I suggest to visit Early on weekends. Service was quick and fantastic as well....❤️

I absolutely adore Simon's Hot Dogs! I first discovered them years ago when they used to be located in Sedona. I was drawn to the fact that they have vegetarian hot dogs, and they're Colombian owned and operated. As a vegetarian Colombian, I had to give them a shot! All of their food is absolutely delicious, and bringing my Colombian mother to try them, she loved the authenticity as well! My go-to is the Colombian vegetarian hotdog, and this time I got the vegan salchipapas as well. Phenomenal as usual! I've also enjoyed their patacones, maicitos (with veggie bacon), maduritos, and their vegan empanadas. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! And they, of course, have classic Colombian drinks like Postobon Manzana and Colombiana. I am a loyal, raving customer who will continue going there as often as possible, and continue introducing others to their wonderful food. Viva Colombia!

Hole in the wall. Don't be fooled by the shop front. I almost went somewhere else but the dining space inside is fantastic. They have a great selection of drinks and hot dogs. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly and provided a top-quality service. Can't beat their Colombian hotdog but if you're looking for a quick and cheap bite, their plain hot dogs are only $5 and come with a variety of toppings including ketchup, relish and mustard. Truly a hidden gem in Scottsdale!

This place has a fantastic vegan menu! The vegan dog is delicious and the potato salad is incredible. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The little patio out back is lovely. We stopped by Simon’s hot dog to try out what a vegan hot dog might taste like. The thought of a meatless hot interest me greatly. Frankly, I like to blend my cuisine with vegan and traditional foods. The place was very active and everyone was excited to be here. Here is my review: They have two types of quasi-hot dogs. 1. California (non-spicy) 2. Tofurky (spicy) 1. The place was very clean and had no malodors 2. The staff were very helpful and were concerned about helping everyone. 3. Salsa was playing in the background setting a nice mood or atmosphere 4. The hot dog bun (vegan) was very fluffy and had hints of butter. 5. Frys we amazing not enough in the basket 6. Hot dog tasted very good with hints of plants and spices. Overall, the food is a world class winner! I recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!

I work in the area and found this place about 2 months ago and now I make sure to stop here at least once a week if not twice. The buns are probably the best you can get out of all hot dog spots in valley. Every dog is unique and consistently delicious. They also have a killer meatball and shredded beef sandwiches which you won't find anywhere else. The best part is I have never had a bad experience with this place, food and customer service is consistent.

This place is delicious and great customer service! On top of what I got they had Lots of Vegan stuff for the non meat eaters in my blended family. Definitely going to return next time I’m in Scottsdale! I suggest the Macitos

Consistently one of the most delicious, high quality, fast restaurants I go to. As a vegan it's usually a bit of a hassle eating out, Simon's takes away that worry by not only having an incredible amount of vegan options, but also having them clearly marked on the menu and extremely accurate- I've never had an incorrect order (one time the hot dog was mixed up but it was still a vegan one and still delicious!!) I nearly always get a hot dog (Coumbian is my go to) but the times I've gotten the burger and mac and cheese have also been to die for, and no order is complete without the ALFAJORES!!! I *always* get 3 and eat them over the next few days. So good, thanks Simon's!!

My friends who live in Phoenix heard about a hot dog place that serves vegan options. With me being a pescatarian, I was excited to try it out. We both ordered the Colombian... I ordered mine vegetarian style (real cheese) and she ordered of hers with real meat. We were both surprised how good they made hot dogs taste. The restaurant was clean and the family who owns the restaurant we're nice.

The staff is nice too. Whenever I look for a restaurant near me I think of them. I dream about their hot dogs. I miss them. In all seriousness, it's great.

Hands down best hot dogs in the Valley! We went with the beef franks (plain and the Columbian). They were both wonderful and with just the right amount of toppings. I was initially skeptical about adding pineapple to my hot dog but it played off the other flavors perfectly. The fries might've been the best part. They were wonderfully fresh, crispy exterior, and had a warm/ fluffy interior. They give the option to add toppings to the fries but i could just eat them plain. There is a solid canned beer selection so have at it. Next time I'm in the Phoenix area again you can be sure that you'll find me here (at some point). 6/5.

Unexpectedly delicious!! ..known for their delicious gourmet hotdog's/brats(non-vegan/vegan), Simon's holds my 11 yr old's the title of FAV Vegan Mac n chz EVER!! They create several very flavorful Vegan/non-Vegan options, including good ole Vegan potato salad (duality is done well here)! Homemade "meatball" is their lentil/beet/seed patties - another win Win!! Try them, you won't be disappointed!!

The food here is amazing. I ate three bites of a chili dog and was totally full. The meatball sandwich is amazing... Melts in your mouth. The measures they are taking for covid are extensive... Felt totally safe and clean in there.

Food is original and absolutely delicious. We were in Scottsdale for three days and came here two days in a row because it was so good. Fantastic hot dogs and bratwursts. I had the Colombian twice now, once with the beef and once with the pork. Delicious both times. Fries are also fantastic. The alfajores are super tasty cookies. The service is great, the owner is really nice and attentive and keeps the restaurant clean. Affordable, delicious food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great hot dogs! The buns were so tasty & fresh. Fun to try toppings that were offered. Had a Colombian which was my fav and Hawaiian was husband’s fav. Staff was not super welcoming when we came in, but after ordering they were more warm- made sure we liked the food and had what we needed. Very casual plaza location- good for a quick bite.

I've driven by this place a lot over the years since it's been here as it's right down the street from my house. Had a dog/brat craving the past couple weeks and finally decided to give it a shot today and it was fantastic! Highly recommend the "Paisita"! SO bomb. They also have a sweet beer selection! 👌

Grateful for this place over the years for having the ability to have vegan and non vegan for all options. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. I was never a hot dog person but ventured to Simon's due to the vegan menu and will continue to come when I'm in the area for being generous enough to make sure to include the options. 5 stars because I have zero complaints!
