If you are looking for a unique experience in Paris, "Under the sea - Ephemera" is indeed the right place. The name describes very well such a place. The ambiance is just beyond perfect. You feel immersed in the ocean and the vibe and decorations are outstanding. Regarding the food, I was expecting that this restaurant would be a great experience, however, the seafood menu is very limited and portions are also very small. As I have tried good seafood restaurants with fresh fish and seafood, I honestly cannot give more than 2 stars. The waitress was coming once in a while so we couldn't ask for water or anything until she comes back. It was very crowded and there were not enough waiter/waitress to cover everybody and provide high quality service. It was not bad but dont expect exceptional service like in high end restaurants. Based on my experience, do not go to this place for their Sea Food but go for their unique Audio-Visual experience. Indeed, the ambiance is more related to the Sea and Ocean than the small available menu. So in conclusion, I recommend this restaurant for the experience but not for the food. Thinking about it, they also have a bar so it might be even better to go to their bar for a drink only.

The food was really good, and the ambience met the high expectations I'd had. I highly recommend it. The reason for the one-star degrade is the fact that staff could not advise us on the level of sweetness of their desserts (very important when one of the diners has issues with blood sugar levels). In a place like this, I expect a manager and head chef to present all dishes in the menu so staff can taste them all and be able to address such concerns.

Our friend took us here as a surprise. It was so amazing and fun! It was a really cool atmosphere dining under the sea. The food was all really good and reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend as a place to have some extra fun at dinner!

Great and unique experience. The music, the effects, the decoration and all the videos are worth the visit . Even the waitresses dress is adequate with the theme. The food is tasty!!

The restaurant will definitely catch your attention. The immersive concept is a fun element to the dining experience, a nice projection of underwater world keeps you looking at screens, videos combined with music. However, the menu lacks variety (most of fish choice is “cru” not cooked) and the flavors did not live up to the expectations. On a positive note, it is a fascinated concept and a good adventure to try in Paris.

Excellent service, Elena was very joyful and friendly. She took care of everything to the smallest details without her asking. I was pleasantly surprised by the appetizing dishes, variant and with a little twist from the classic. The overall ambiance was quite nice, the tables are well spaced from one another offering thus some privacy.

We booked for 9pm today. Arrived there at sharp 9pm to find a long queue of people with reservations waiting to be seated. Absolutely ridiculous! See picture I took. What’s the point of reservation then? Also, this isn’t real fish, it’s full of data shows surrounding the place. Very underwhelming. It’s such a TikTok kind of place, people come to take pics and go home. We went to Too Hotel 18 mins away without a reservation and with a VIEW of Eiffel Tower. Don’t waste your time with this fishy place!

A great and unique experience in Paris. I didn’t had huge expectations and so I was stunned by the decorations/light show inside of the restaurant. The waiter are dressed like sailor, a nice touch. The theme of the room will evolve as you go through your dinner ! The food tasted great, fresh and yummy I definitely recommend

Booked dinner here after the raving reviews and I can say I was delighted! To start the food was delicious but they could have used a bit more finesse in the presentation because it didn’t look as good as it tasted. I would suggest trying the spicy tuna and avocado toast. The service was wonderful and fast. The ambiance is the main reason why you would visit this restaurant and thats where I was slightly disappointed. They did a wonderful job of making it sea themed with large screens projecting aquariums. They could have however taken this experience a step further and created a story line. Maybe have the screens interact with each other, idk hire an artist and they will definitely figure it out. I think this would help the business sell a real experience. Also the neon colored seashells? They aren’t naturally like that so why? Overall the dinner was great but I wouldn’t do it twice unless something drastically changed about the experience.

Cool immersive dining experience in Paris with variety of seafood menus. When entered, could smell like sea. The dishes were fresh. Decent price. If you seek for new & fun experience while eating, you should try this place. Creative ideas in the Ephe.era group, there are 3 locations with different themes: sea, space, forest.

A really cool place with good interior decor. The staff were nice, friendly and offer a good service. The food was nothing special, I wouldn't say they were great, decent yes. The price is reasonable considering the atmosphere. Better to book a table ahead, it gets pretty busy even until late. At some point there was a long queue of people waiting be seated and it's on a weekday! A good experience overall and worth a visit. P.S. A real aquarium in the middle of the resto would've been a perfect addition! :)

Unique and incredible experience. The atmosphere alone makes this place worth a visit, with the video, the sounds and the decor in general all perfectly studied. The food is good as well, and we'll in line with the theme of the restaurant. The trout taking was amazing. You need to book well in advance on their website.

The service, the light show and the ambiance was amazing! The food also came quick. We ordered almost everything on the menu to tried everything out however, more than the half of the dishes are already cold when it arrived to my table, such as the fish & chip. Both fish and & chip were cold :( but the taste of dishes were okay, would be better if the dish was warm. Would still recommend to check this place out!

Amazing service and food!! Felt like a whole show with the projectors surroundings us. All reasonably priced. Ordered the recommendations from our server, which was fantastic. It was super busy and our food still came on time! Cocktails were tasty too! 100% recommended and will definitely check out their other restaurants on our next trip to Paris. Thank you!

Great atmosphere with sofisticated food (and vegetarian options!) for an affordable price. Very friendly staff, the whole experience was perfect!

Delicious food and the service by Daniella was excellent. I was worried with a themed restaurant that we would be underwhelmed by the food but it surpassed my expectations. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Paris!

I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. If you’re from the US you think of the rainforest cafe. Usually places like this are more about the ambiance and less about the food, but this place proved me wrong. Our waitress was amazing and super friendly. Food was quite solid especially for the price. The eggplant dish and roasted Camembert were excellent starters. The ceviche was the star for dinner. The tuna tartare was good but would be better with less of the mayo sauce and let the tuna shine. Wines matched well and were priced good. The tiramisu dessert was insanely good and the poached pear was solid. It was definitely more noisy than a typical French restaurant but the dark ambiance and underwater projections were a cool experience.

The ambiance is really good, I can't complain, similar with the service since our waitress was really kind. Although, since they have tight reservation times, by the time you finished eating, they push you in a subtle way for you to leave the restaurant. And the food, was good, for the price it was correct, but the cocktails were a bit expensive for what they really were.

First off, the food was amazing. Every dish we ordered was packed full of flavour, really fresh, and beautifully presented. You could tell that a lot of love and effort had been put into each plate. It was honestly like each mouthful took your taste buds on a little adventure. But it wasn't just the food that made this place special. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant was something else. It really felt like you were dining under the sea. They'd put so much detail into the decor - it was tranquil, mysterious, and totally unique. What really made our night though was the service - specifically from Madissone. She was just fantastic. She was friendly, knew the menu inside out, and just had a way of making us feel really looked after. She was always there when we needed her, but without hovering around our table, you know what I mean? It's that kind of service that takes a meal from being great to being unforgettable.

What an amazing place to visit! I can't begin to describe how blown away we were by everything! "Under the sea" is indeed the right choice of words to describe such a place. The ambiance is just beyond perfect. You feel immersed in the ocean. The food was super delicious, exquisite for seafood lovers and vegetarians as well! What's more important is that it is very affordable considering the magnificent setting and splendid service. Recommended to visit for a romantic date, outing with friends or family! 💯💯💯

I had a great experience at the restaurant, thanks to Liam's exceptional assistance. As someone unfamiliar with the menu, I greatly appreciated his guidance in selecting a dish. Liam was wonderful, polite, always had a smile on his face, and cooperated with me throughout. He truly enhanced my overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying the Ceviche seabrem at this establishment. Thank you once again, Liam!

For a special themed restaurant, the screens, cycling videos, and rich ceiling decor of Under the Sea is really awe-inspiring with a big wow effect. The food however was disappointong for us. You go there for the special ambiance, the soothing underwater videos, but not for the quality of the food, even though it's nicely presented.

I love the concept of this place. The inside decoration is full of screens with projection of sea and fish. The food is great. Recommend this place.

We were really looking forward to this restaurant due to the reviews, and also it seemed it’d be a unique experience but it was okay. The food was slightly disappointing as it was very mediocre also overpriced. The decor was nice but not worth the trip. All the staff were very kind and accommodating though!
