I stayed at this hostel for a week. It was nice. Reception is very friendly and helpful, and it is a nice location. However, some things to know: You aren't allowed to use the kitchen as of now because of covid rules. You can only use a toaster oven and the microwave. It doesn't say this on their website or anywhere else that I could find, but it was a factor for me since I booked this hostel knowing they had a kitchen. The beds squeak a lot. If you move one centimeter it creaks so much and wakes everyone up. I was in a 4 bed room, maybe other rooms are better. But my room's beds were very squeaky. The rooms are also poorly decorated and bare. No privacy curtains, personal shelf, outlet that is close enough to the beds, other decorations that would make it feel a little more personal. The bathrooms tend to smell after a little bit. The bathrooms are in each room. They have a cleaner but because the room is small in general the bathroom starts getting stuff and smelly along with the rest of the room. Overall, it was a mediocre hostel experience. It wasn't necessarily bad. But they could definitely use some improvement.

This is a GREAT hostel to stay at. Just at the bottom of Montmartre Church it's also very close to the subway/train station so it's easy to get around Paris. OH and there is a grocery store across the street so if you are looking to keep it cheap then it's definitely got everything close! The hostel itself it very nice. The downstairs is small but cozy and all the staff I met were incredibly nice, kind and patient. The patio is on the 1st floor and very cool to hang out at. I very much enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay here again when I come to visit Paris again.

Wir lieben dieses Hostel und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Vom Gare de l'est fussläufig bergauf gut erreichbar würde sagen 20 Minuten. Etwas unscheinbar und durch ein Baugerüst etwas schwerer zu erkennen, aber direkt gelegen am Sacre Coeur und in unmittelbarer Umgebung Souvenir Shops, Bars, Restaurants und die Metro. Mega.Wir kamen sehr früh an und konnten vor dem Check in Koffer und Rucksäcke da lassen. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr sehr freundlich und multi lingual. Das Zimmer für uns ausreichend. Ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett ohne Tv, aber gute Matratzen und super Aussicht auf Sacre Coeur und die Terrasse. Es gibt einen kleine Aufzug, allerdings passt höchstens 1 Person mit Gepäck hinein. Wir nutzten für den 2ten Stock die Treppe. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Sicherheitssystem. Eingangstür wir von der Rezeption geöffnet, Zwischentür und Zimmertür nur über Karte und elektronischem Sytem.Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da viele Bäckereien und Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zudem Kaffee, Tee und Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Abnutzungserscheinungen ja, aber alles sauber, Bad sehr klein, aber o.k. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen, alleine auch für die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Wir konnten am Abreisetag das Gepäck auch wieder lagern und Paris erkunden. Danke für alles!

The worst stay i ever had. Bed wasn't comfortable, pepole kept coming and making noise until the morning. I asked to change room but the reception wasn't able to help. So i left few days before had to check out.

Receptionist refused to let me pay for with card or loan me 50 cents so I could use the locker in the lobby to keep my bag in the day that I checked out since I had a flight later that day and didn’t want to carry my heavy bag everywhere.

Totally worth it. Plus, the staff are really kind and reception is available 24/7. Our room was really nice and was the perfect place to stay for a fast trip to visit Paris. I would recommend it.

I must say it is a convenient location. However when it comes to custumer service they did NOT accept my pre-paid online reservation! Having asked to pay at the location I had to pay for my stay the second time! 👎🏻 & the worst part was that the manager said you sort out this issue with your bank which was quite disappointing to hear. They did NOT care of the issue as long as I paid them already! 👎🏻 Even after waiting for over a MONTH, and emailing them did not worry them at all! 👎🏻 P.s. all towels is for an extra pay, whilst you can just buy them from the nearest store for cheap. 👎🏻

I cancelled my stay and they deducted one night stay amount but they never reimburse me as they promised. Is anyone else have the same experience and what did you do to get your money back?

Bad customer service. I was supposed to stay at the hostel, but they don't follow the EU rules about SCA - safe payment, so the bank wouldn't accept the payment. No help on paying through bank transfer or cash on the night of the stay. I don't recommend going here if you care about good customer service.

A shout out to Joaqim ! He worked at the reception when I arrived early in the morning. The most friendly person, really does an effort to help you. Friendly and chatty and just a very sympathetic person. Speaks (at least?) 5 languages and goes above and beyond to help everyone who arrives. This makes so much difference: especially when travelling alone, that you finally arrive and there is someone with such empathy and positive energies. I don't know who should read this but Joaqim deserves a raise!!

It’s a hostel with also special rooms as a hotel. It’s typical French style and the people are very kind and helpful. It’s a bit simple and small but we didn’t need more. During the day and evenings went in the city. It’s close to the metro Anvers and the sacre couer cathedral is the view and very close by. Nice restaurants as well. Recommended but it’s a budget ho(s)tel.

Great location for a hostel Hostel itself is a bit tired, there was a leak in a common area, you can only put luggage in the lift, the stove does not work, there are no table knives for use, and for the first couple of nights I had to use a toilet without a nearby wash basin. The location, staff and atmosphere are great, but please don't pay for breakfast

Loved everything. Super friendly people who work here, they made us feel really welcome! We had a super cute room with a really nice view from our window on sacré cœur! The little garden area was also soooo cute we really recommend this place!

Our private room with en suite was spotlessly clean. The bed was très confortable, we slept very well. Breakfast was included in what we thought was a very reasonable price. Excellent location, near Anvers Metro. Friendly and helpful young staff. Great view of Sacre Coeur from the spiral stairs. There's also a small lift.

Great value for the location. Staff was very helpful friendly. They held our luggage since we arrived too early. I stayed in a private room on the 5th floor which was fine except the elevator was under repair. The stairs were a bit tight with luggage. Overall it is a pleasant place with views of Sacre Coeur.

Gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal! Das Frühstück ist okay, es gibt Brot, Butter, Joghurt, Marmelade und Crossaints. Der Kaffee schmeckt leider gar nicht. Die Betten quietschen sehr laut, es gibt keine richtigen Bettdecken und Handtücher kosten extra.

Rooms are very comfortable and the washrooms are cleaned every day. The room came with a lot of amenities like hair dryer, kettle, locker (small sized) and some refreshments. The receptionists are so warm and welcoming. I had a great experience talking with a few of them. They also offer free luggage storage in case you are early to check in. Breakfast was included in my case, yet simple - some croissants, pain au chocolat, bread and some coffee. But it's justified for the price I paid for my stay. The hostel is located just 50m from Anvers Metro station and offers a perfect stay if you want to stay near Montmartre.

the hosts are soo friendly, all of them. location is quite good, inside the quartier of artists and right next to the sacre coeur. rooms are good and clean

Keep in mind that this is a Hostel and in Paris, so prices are a little over the top but it's normal. Place is relatively clean, staff is extremely kind and helpful and made all the difference.

Charged my card $500 after canceling even though the booking was fully refundable. Will start a dispute.

Decent clean affordable…the usual affluent Euros complaining about the heat when it’s 72 F then cranking the AC..someone walked off with my shoes which somehow ended up at the front desk at which point I was told that it was forbidden to walk around with my socks on…my rich roommate stole my change

Everything was great. I am still staying there. I have got one more day to stay. The guys at the reception are very helpful. The only thing is Internet connection is not very good but they still deserve 5 starts. The best you can get with the money you pay 💯 👌

My experience here was okay- ish (not great or good) as the rooms were not that great. The location was good but it was a bit hard to locate this place. Also my food got stolen from the fridge so that was another reason why I found this experience to be a bit unpleasant. There are better hotels and hostels in the vicinity offering cheaper and better rooms. Can skip this one.

The room was quaint as heck with a charming view and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. I will strongly consider staying here next time I’m in town.

Normal hostel nothing out of the ordinary.

I loved this hostel!! Super good vibe, staff are so lovely and helpful, really well equipped kitchen and often leftover bread and pastry during the day! The bedrooms are nice, only wish there were more charging plugs! And some hand soap in the bathroom. But apart from those minor things it was wonderful!

This is nice hostel. The people staying here were really cool and helpful and receptionists were always there to help me. Amazing experience with them.

Really comfy stay and Friendly hotel staff.... The place is bit far from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est...The place is located just few steps away from Sacre Coeur, Its really closeby... So you be the earliest person to visit it for the day.... The rooms were a bit small.... But overall i really liked the stay ....

Great location, friendly staff, cool looking hostel. I would stay again and reccomend this place to friends. I would give 5 stars if I could have gotten my money back on our 3rd night (we unfortunately could only stay 2 nights). I only could give 24 hr notice because we had our plane get canceled unexpectedly so we had to take a sooner flight. Had they gone out of their way for us in understanding, I would have given 5 stars but I understand it's a business.

Small, friendly, relatively quiet, clean, great to have access to the kitchen, no charge for wifi, attractive terrace, good security arrangements, lockers in the room, a few minutes from Sacré Coeur, 10 minutes from Gare du Nord. The heater in the room buzzed a bit, but ear-plugs solved the problem. The underneath of my bed was bent out of shape, so gave a slightly soggy sleeping experience.

Bathroom was very clean, shared sleeping area not so much. Good location, lots to do nearby and very easy to get into the city. Poor management, lack of communication between the check in desk and housekeeping.

The property's online photos don't match reality, the terrace is pretty cool but over all the facilities are old, smelly and dirty. Breakfast is ok. Our toilet smelled horrible, when we complained we got no response from the guy at the front desk. We ended up buying deodorant and getting in with a mask The area is fine and easy to connect with central Paris

I spent three nights here in October 2013. Such a beautiful memories. Hope to visit again when I am back to Paris next year inshaallah.
