I visited France for the first time, 15hr flight from NY and upon arrival with my child the representative at check-in told me my card was declined after 3 separate attempts. I called my bank they told me there are 3 charges pending from the hotel to my debit card. The hotel uses a third party billing which is closed on the weekend, I had to wait until Monday afternoon before their accountant arrived and could fix the issue, it took 4 days for funds to return to debit card so Saturday-Monday and 4days so total of 7days. Our stay at the hotel was 10 days. With all the patients in the world the lack of professional on the hotel part made me very uncomfortable. For a vacation after a long flight this was very stressful. PLEASE CARRY EXTRA CASH. The Hotel is in the financial district. The entire hotel was 🥵 HOT, ac was very limited. No one tells you this… but even in the mall, stores, restaurant is hot something about conserving energy but my goodness, ridiculous hot. The room was not up to standards, stain on the chair, bathroom was not clean, low water pressure, the key card need to be replaced often, they had to change key cards like 3 times, supper annoying to have to go to lobby and wait to get replacement after returning from being out all day. The kettle was deteriorated on the inside. The staff was very helpful in replacing the kettle right away. Staff was very helpful and friendly hence the 2 stars.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception and employees were friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, the water pressure for showering was not ideal, and the breakfast space felt a bit cramped, perhaps due to high occupancy. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was positive. The location and other amenities contributed to an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately, this was a very big disappointment. For the amount of money paid for a weekend, I expected the service to be better. Staff are impolite and not attentive at all. I am a young black female and as soon as another person came to the reception even though I was talking to a member or staff, the attention completely shifted and it was as though I did not have a query which I was there to discuss with them. Staff are dismissive and there is no attention to detail or attention given to the guest. Every time that I wanted to take a taxi, the taxi would always get lost before reaching my Address, geographically in order to find the hotel itself, even if it is well located in the 92 district, is not easy by car. By public transport it is very well accessible but by car, it is a nightmare. The worst was when I asked for a bottle of wine, not only did the lady have to confirm that it is only by the bottle, and then proceed in re confirming the price twice… €44eur… Honestly, I would not return, because I felt as if I was bothering the staff more than anything, as if because I am a young black woman I can am not able to afford such a hotel. It was an embarrassing experience and honestly I do not recommend anyone to go there unless you are rich and white!

Positives: Location and proximity to metro, lobby area and the Level room on the ground floor. Breakfast has good mixture of hot and cold buffet. Overall the hotel is clean. Negatives: Staff particularly night staff are unprofessional ,totally unfamiliar with working in a hotel, rushed off their feet and can not follow even simple request and treat guests with contempt. On arrival our room didn’t have pillows! It took 10 requests either in person or on the phone to reception/housekeeping between 3:00 pm to 11:30pm to get 2 pillows!! instead after each request we received all manner of items such as hangers, toilet papers etc but not a single pillow. In addition the rooms looked dated, walls and cupboards are all chipped( see photos) the single chair in the room is dry and grimy with years of dirt and on one occasion the cleaners had left a face towel as a door matt for both of our rooms! (see the photos which shows the towels hanging on towel rail and the towel that was provided as a mat are the same). For a hotel which charges 500 Euros per night this level of service is totally unacceptable. We have been to this hotel in 2015 and it was truly excellent but sadly it has gone downhill and staff don’t care. Our experience certainly wasn’t unique as every time we passed reception there was at least one person complaining about something. Night staff appear never to have worked in a hotel, they are rude and can not understand basic orders. If you have any request put it through day staff. Finally the bar ( on grand floor) staff were slow. we asked for a well done burger and received a totally raw burger. Cutlery arrived around 10 minutes after food and by which time the food was freezing and the wait was so long that on a number of occasion we had to go and get cutlery and other items ourselves from the bar. Cards were not working properly and we had to regularly ask reception to reactivate our cards. The TV in our room was broken and wasn’t working and that had to be replaced too. There were too many problems on the first day of arrival that it cast shadow on our entire stay. The TV is not smart so we couldn’t connect to apps like Netflix. This is so important specially if you have children and if you like to watch your own programs on apps like BBC or Apple TV. After such appalling service at such a ridiculous price we WILL NEVER RETURN to this hotel and will strongly advise everyone to avoid it and not waste their hard earned money on this place.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was top-notch, and the staff, especially Adnoul from the level department, was incredibly helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. From the well-maintained facilities to the delicious dining options, everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Great location and atmosphere. Many activities around and restaurants to go after work. Very clean and quiet. Amazing breakfast and lovely views from the terrace bar. Staff was very helpful

Lovely hotel beautiful rooms Lovely reception. But the bar had one person serving. And the food took a hour to come out and it was cold. They took it back and put in the microwave so the steak was like rubber. They know we were in a rush and had no time to complain. The hotel was full with people going to the races so they should have had more staff in the bar. Great place to stay. But do not eat or drink in the bar.

We had a lot of issues with the bathroom fan, the blow dryer, and the lights, which were not fixed promptly despite our daily complaints. The rooms were big and clean, and the breakfast was good with lots of selections. However, we felt that the hotel was overpriced for the service we received. It was an average place at best.

It is a nice hotel in La Defense area that has good access to Esplanade La Defence station. We stayed 4 nights here in August 2022. The room was facilitated and comfort. WiFi was weak and there is no concierge in this hotel. Breakfast lounge has nice view on Paris and Eiffel tower with good variety of drinks, cakes , breads, cold and warm bar!

Nice hotel but check-in and check-out not up to standards. Very nice venue, well furnished and with comfortable rooms and bed. Wi-Fi speed was ok. The improvement point is for the check-in and check-out, which took a tremendous amount of time (more than 15 mins to NOT get an invoice). Great view from the upper floors.

Awful experience. My room was absolutely freezing. I had to call a technician several times and it never improved. He even came back with a thermometer that measured parts of the room to be 27°C, and yet he himself was saying how cold it felt in my room. It never improved. I asked at least for a portable heater, but they would not provide that. In the end, I tried using the hairdryer to heat the room, but of course that was not practical or safe. I could barely sleep and could not relax. The shower is also pathetic, the water is only warm and it’s a very thin stream - amazingly, making me feel even more cold. Also the room service arrived about as cold as my room was. Extremely disappointing stay. It was truly awful. I hope I never have to return to any of their hotels and strongly discourage anyone from ever booking them.

Spent two nights here for a seminar. Rooms are great, the staff is super friendly, food and overall impression great. I want to highlight something: I fell ill during the trip (not because of the hotel), and the whole staff was super friendly, passed on info about my status to other colleagues, so that they are informed if I need something. This was "the extra mile" in terms of customer service, and again want to thank the staff.

Excellent choice for business as it is located in La Défense, very close to all multinational offices. Also, at about 50 metres from Ligne 1 underground's entrance. It is not expensive as hotels in the city centre and it's nicely connected. We used The Level services and here is where I need to put some drawbacks: one single coffee machine, this means the line is too long in the morning when you need to have a fast breakfast before heading to work. We compared with the breakfast of the 1st floor (general services) and this one had more choices in terms of food, snacks and beverages. The separated sector of the Level service is fine in terms of calmness, although not very well supplied with food and dark (there are no windows). We got a large room in one of the corners. Very sunny, modern, lovely views, and with a lot of space for storage. Also well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. There was a mistake in the reservation where the system placed two kids coming with us, hence the staff put two small beds and the extra was never removed (anyways we just stayed for two nights). The room's distribution is awkward. For instance, the toilet is far from the lavatory, you need to get out, walk around the corner and then you can wash you hands. That's strange knowing there is plenty of room to put a small lavatory. No bidet. The shower is Ok, you can place a curtain in order to get some privacy when using it. If your kids are small ones and curious, good luck with that. We could never control the AC. There was a problem with the wall controller and the air was unbreathable from time to time (there's no window to open). Staff never fixed it after several claims. We received a discount for this situation during check-out. Restaurants are closed at 22:00 (actually I was denied entrance at 21:30). Pretty weird for an international hotel. Fortunately there are a bit of options (not too many) to grab something outside.

Not a good value at all. Location only good if you have meetings nearby. Uber has to be redirected to the door for some reason. Service overall terrible for the cost. Issues in the meeting room, no laundry on the weekend, ordered room service but it was so late I had to cancel, bar service ends early for a 4 star, etc. Food the first night was was terrible in the restaurant and only rose the the level of acceptable the rest of the week. Overpriced for what you get.

Great location if you have plans in La Défense, otherwise isolated with limited food options nearby. Literally above metro to go into city. Staff very attentive and nice. My bathroom door lock was missing. The heat/AC thermostat was disabled, so I couldn't alter temperature nor open a window. Extremely dark room with poor lighting options. Breakfast buffet had lots of options. Did get busy later in morning, so recommend eating early if you can.

My friends and I spent a memorable time at the Skyline Bar. Vincent welcomed us very politely and cheerfully. He made sure that our drinks be served quickly and checked on us several time to see if we needed anything. On top of that Skyline is the perfect spot to enjoy some good music AND COCKTAILS while chilling around mature clients. I recommend early arrival to secure your table! 😉

A superb hotel! The rooms are spectacular, very well equipped (Rituals amenities very appreciated), the breakfast is super tasty, The Level lounge very cozy and laid back. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Location can't be better, the hotel door is literally 20 metres away from the metro entrance. If I ever come back to Paris this will be the hotel I'll choose for my stay!

Excellent hotel with decent views of the tower. I was always impressed with the staff. Most of them spoke English, French, and Spanish. The food (breakfast) was top-notch. The location is the second to last on the yellow La Defense line. There were plenty of shopping and dining experiences within 5-8 minutes of walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel as I will be staying here on future visits to Paris.

Booked a king size premium Eiffel Tower view room for our anniversary. The hotel know that I was trying to celebrate a special weekend. Came to check in & was told our room was one with 2 single beds. How romantic? Enquired multiple times if there would be one available if we waited. Was told no.. but that we could pay €30 per night extra for a “better” room with breakfast included. Our better room had no view of the Eiffel Tower so we declined as it was just trying to upsell the breakfast. Anyway we checked in with 2 single beds. I rang the receptionist an hour later and they had a room available with the king size that we booked. Awful customer service, we would have been happy to wait downstairs while they prepared our room

I had a great stay at this hotel, and I appreciate all that was done to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are lovely, though the air conditioning was inconsistent. Despite changing the settings to manual, it would randomly change and affect the temperature of the room, which was a bit frustrating. However, the breakfast provided was delightful; the quality was up to par, and the staff were incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout the week. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the attitude of the weekend staff. The check-out process seemed tedious and disorganized, and the staff behind the counter didn't provide much assistance. They didn't seem very motivated to help, and their attitude definitely had a negative effect on my overall experience. Moreover, the restaurant manager kept inquiring whether I had privileges in the VIP lounge during breakfast, even though it was clear from my room number that it was included. In my experience, the quality of staff can make or break a place, and while I enjoyed the stay overall, the unsatisfactory weekend staff left me feeling a bit undervalued.

Fantastic customer service after we had a problem with our room, very polite and helpful restaurant staff too. Food was beautiful and plenty of choice for breakfast. Rooms spacious and very clean. Also next to Metro station so great location for reaching Central Paris.

The hotel has incredible views of Paris. It has really good services and we were attended by educated, careful, smiley and patient staff (specially Olivia, who was really nice throughout the weekend) One thing we would suggest is offering a more variety of breakfast! Definitely recommend!

The rooms are really nice, especially if you have a view to the Torre Eiffel. It is very well located, being just in front of the subway. The food though is quite an issue, if you really want good food you better look outside the hotel!

It’s right next to metro Like 1 min walk. So convenient. (The metro is underground so it doesn’t appear noisy or busy around the hotel). Breakfast is ok only The view is great (we were at 16th floor). The room is big which I like because we stayed for about a week. The windowsill is wonderful The location is good. It’s right at a terrace of a open space. Very soothing and modern. The biggest suggestion is the carpet can update

The receptionist Sylvie was very caring, friendly and helpful. She's a role model for each hotel. She listened to each of us and helped us in such a sympathetic way. Thank you Sylvie! We would also like to mention the team which is responsible for the nice breakfast and the good food! Julian and the whole team are so friendly and helpful, you are feeling welcomed and if you have special wishes, it is not a problem at all. I'm vegan and we got warm plant milk for our coffees, furthermore plant butter for the bread. By the way: the food is excellent, also the lunch dishes. Thank you all for the uncomplicated and friendly service. We are looking forward to come back.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. The front desk was polite and helpful during checkin and checkout. It’s just 25 minutes by metro to the major Paris sites, with the stop right outside the door, which is very convenient for your travels. Spacious bathroom and really nice views!

  • 3/5 Mathias W. 1 year ago on Google
First: The service staff and personnel definitely deserve 5 stars. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and willing to help. That was super nice. The hotel in general is nice. Relatively new and very well located to visit Paris (You only need 10 to 15 minutes to get into the center, depending on where you would like to go.). There a is little artificial lake in front of the hotel where you can sit and enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening. The breakfast buffet also offers a good selection. And: You have a super good and impressive view over the city on the 19th floor! Get there for a drink! 😊 Why only 3 stars instead of 5? Whereas the hotel itself is very nice as mentioned above, there are a few points which made the stay less nice. 1. The air condition: You cannot change the temperature in the room. Our room was way to warm (between 24 and 25 degrees). This is the main reason for the 3-star evaluation. If you cannot sleep well at a hotel, it impacts massively the quality of the hotel as this is usually the reason why you get there. We asked twice to decrease the temperature, but nothing changed. The hotel offered us a different room (which was nice). Unfortunately, there was the same problem: Too warm and no change even though the aircon was running. Which was the reason why we didn’t changed room in the end. However, we appreciated this offer by the hotel. 2. The coffee machine at the breakfast area: There are two coffee machines which seems to cause some frustrations for the guest as they do not work properly. Particularly the one in the corner was the reasons for long lines in front of the machine. This should be improved from my point of view. Beside these points: It should be possible to check-out the night before departure. This was not possible for some reasons. Only a minor thing, but if you need to leave super early next morning, you must plan for unnecessary more time. From my experience of 14 years of business travelling, checking out the night before and just drop the card next morning is a standard procedure. Last point: Our room / access card needed to be renewed nearly every day. I don’t know why. It is also a minor thing but became super annoying after some days. If hotels improve the issues with the air condition and exchanges the coffee machine, it would really add value for its clients.

The hotel location is good and just less than a minute to reach the metro station where you can go any where you want in Paris. They took 400 euros as a deposit for 4 night. The room services is not that good, there were no water in the room.

Can't turn iff aircon, can't open windows, famous Skybar not so special but good rooms and friendly staff (except when they have to replace the key cards every single day because they AGAIN don't work jn the lifts). Good views of the the ghastly, inhuman La Defence area. Completely inaccessible by taxi but v close to metro.

The staff here are awesome. Modern high end hotel in La Défense. Metro is literally right out side the hotel. We had a view of the Eiffel tower from our room. Highly Recommended to tourists

Amazing hotel ! I just stayed there with my Girlfriend for our first time in Paris and our stay was lovely ! We had some issue with hot water in our room at first but the staff was very helpfull and helped us relocate to an even better room and it totally made up for it. I had some special requests to be met because me and my girlfriend were celebrating our aniversary and they followed everything perfectly. There is not much to eat arround the hotel, but the room service is very good and tasty and the hotel is right next to the metro line 1 wich gives you acess to all the key spots of Paris. I totally recommend staying here if you can get a great price like we did ! Also i don't know how they do it, but the rooms smells amazing !!! Thank you so much to all the lovely staff for everything !

Staff are friendly, breakfast is delicious, so near to the metro station. The rooms cleaning service wasn’t that good, their decoration for our honeymoon was poor, don’t book the room with Eiffel’s view because the tower is far from the hotel.

People working here are so polite, quite place with excellent room services. I hope they would put some water in the fridge. Other than that everything is great Location is very close to the metro and that's good thing for a tourist.

Nice hotel, good service. It is a bit far from the center and all the tourist madness but it has a metro station just in front which will make your transport much easier. It is close to La Defense so it is prectical of you need to be in the sector. The hotel is very comfortable and we found to be a great option when visiting Paris.

Get The Level room. Together with the superb breakfast, stunning panoramic view and guest service this made for a fantastic vacation. For those who wonder - taxis do reach right to the lower back entrance and metro is 20 meters away.

Nice hotel situated in a 20 min metro distance to the CBD. Very modern and excellent service. wifi was a little weak within the room. They have a fancy App which we could order services or towels etc via the App Their room close to the lift had noise coming from the lift moving up and down though please move away from those rooms By the way their pillows are very nice and firm (much better than their Luxembourg branch), I wish I could purchase one from them.

we have a week stay in this hotel... location is perfect and staff are super friendly.. the bar was pretty perfect i mean skyline.. but it is better to prioritize the residents of hotel. special thanks to Elodie she is is super corporative and I really appreciate her and also Sofia that she was so patient. for sure it will be my next choice for paris. metro is 10 SECONDS far from hotel:)

As a business district hotel - the set up in the room/general area was poor. In the room, the was not worktable - just a round coffee table. The lighting was poor and the wifi coverage poor, data rate slow - making audio/video conference tough. In the lobby - the F&B outlet was closed on a weekday night. Force guest to seek alternative for business discussion. The location of the hotel is good if your primarily mode of transport is Subway/Underground. The hotel does not have a Uber/G7/Taxi pick up point. Guest has to walk to Ibis/Novotel to grab a taxi.

Stayed i the hotel for 5 nights during a recent stay The rooms are very nice and large with views of Eiffel Tower. The rooms have NO USB outlets on and not enough outlets to plug into. For a hotel in the business district they need to invest in some multiple county power adapters and USB outlets The breakfast was good for a hotel - western style. There is not enough space to fit the number of guests in the hotel so it is very crowded and long lines We tried going to the sky deck roof twice and we’re turned away twice due to price events - ridiculous I am Melia gold member and the hotel staff had no idea about late checkout and other benefits. Staff should be trained in the companies membership program The hotel is 1 minute walk from M1 subway line, takes 12 minutes to get to the Louvre and no changing trains. There are limited restaurants in the area open late and on weekends due to being in the business district Not sure I would stay again due to the distance to being in Paris centrally. However you will not get a large room as nice for the money in central Paris. We stayed at a Marriott 5 years ago across the street from the Louvre and rooms were tiny but surrounding area was awesome Staff were not always pleasant and helpful

The hotel and the rooms are very nice and I even got an upgrade. Really nothing to complain here. The only downside of my stay was the breakfast. I wasn't 100% satisfied with the selection and the room was very crowded and loud. The main reason I can only give 3 stars though is the fact that already one week has passed after my visit and the staff still hasn't been able to send me a correct invoice. Even worse, I already got two more wrong ones in the meantime, with one even having the wrong room number on it and mini bar items I didn't consume. Also the communication via email is not very transparent with different names and email addresses being used, making the whole thing very cumbersome. So to wrap this up: nice hotel and rooms but the (after) service could be more professional.

  • 2/5 Marius K. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are very nice, but completely useless for business as it is impossible to conduct any video calls since the wifi is so bad. The 4G/5G reception is also not good enough inside the building (anywhere), so you basically cannot get work properly done when staying here. As a business hotel, this is mildly said quite surprising. (My key card was also reset every day, and they also gave the room away to two other guests that checked while my reservation was still valid, but these are minor glitches compared to the fact that internet is so rubbish). At the cost of staying here, and given its location, I definitively would expect more. It was the same for all my other colleagues that stayed in different rooms and on different floors.

This hotel is conveniently close to our offices and we use it occasionally. The facilities are ok, but the rates are ridiculous. Getting there by taxi is hard, and by car is almost impossible because of the construction in the area. Subway is your best bet. 😡 During my most recent visit, I had a late night check-in for an overnight stay to attend meetings the next day. The bathroom in my room had not been cleaned, no housekeeping staff are available after 18:00 and no alternative room was offered, so I was informed I had to cleanup myself. And then they still happily charged me €412 the next day for the night 😡 Rather look for other options in the area!

4 star hotel where the hot water has no pressure in the morning - it was not enough to wet my hair. I had to shower in the evening. At the reception no smiles policy. At check-in a 200e deposit is required ?!?!? Lights in the bedrooms are too dim. Only good things are the size of the rooms, the beauty creams and shampoos, the hair drier and the location, if you are working close by. I hope you find this useful.

Nice hotel with metro station in front of. 3 stops away from Porte Maillot airport bus. The breakfast was THE BEST i have ever had. Good view to Eiffel tower from some rooms. minus one star because of the bar at 19 level, because they are not making a reservations from previous day and need to wait 50 minutes to enter on my wife birthday at 00:30 hours and working until 01:00 clock. Finally they requested to go out on the terrace and it was cold.

Beautiful place, lovely staff, comfy rooms, directly next to metro station. We stayed here for 4 days and everything was perfect. Our flight was cancelled so they happily assisted us in booking another night and stayed in the same room hassle free. Breakfast was a good selection and lovely pastry’s however the only fault is the cooked breakfast was cold every morning no matter what time we went but we weren’t bothered. The only thing i’d say as a comment to the hotel is that they need more light in the rooms as there were no general lights. plus the bathroom mirror needs some lights for people who use make up. But extremely minor and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit paris.

Great experience on quality service. Arrived early after long flight at 8am and front desk Sylvie went beyond to get me checked in so I can hit the gym and have a hot bath before heading out for the day. Kudos to going beyond!
