As expected, you will find top brands here. The terrace is a must go, nice view. I personally found the restaurant options weak, but also some of them were closed, so not fair to judge (posting it on Apr'22). The building architecture is amazing, worth visiting just to check the dome from the inside.

Three buildings, one with men's clothing and accessories, one for women and one for food and household appliances. Super friendly staff and a vast variety of articles. The ambiance is outstanding, especially in the women's building. There is a Terrasse on the roof top from which you have a marvelous view of the city.

Fancy mall with beautiful Christmas decor during the holidays, good to visit even if you don’t plan on buying anything. If you’re looking for the men’s department it’s in the next building. It usually gets pretty crowded and it’s pretty tight, navigating around for the first time is a bit difficult. Lots of fancy, expensive brands on the first few floors. You can’t really stop and appreciate the middle part of the mall which I think is the prettiest, they have it roped off for snack kiosks where you have to pay to be seated, totally understandable on their part because if you don’t restrict access, lots of folks would stop and block the flow of traffic. I really did like the free rooftop access, the views are pretty cool, but they do close it when it gets too crowded. The souvenir shop at the top floor with the bookstore, baggage store, cafe was a good place to get last minute gifts from. Having them process your tax refund in store is very convenient too. Unless you’re here to get luxury brands from France you’re probably not going to get a good deal.

What a piece of design, architecture and luxury- all under one roof. This place was on my list during our visit. Was super busy, before Christmas, long lineups, crazy wait times but worth it all. Some stores like Chanel may require one to register and book an appointment, while others would have lineups. Staff at all stores is well versed and speaks English. They had a beautiful skywalk setup next to the gorgeous Christmas tree for pictures; again book your time slot on the app. The stairway is another gorgeous piece of design, rightly named Stairway to Heaven. So is the gorgeous glass dome. We in North America do not see such designs and decors very often. The tax office is also in the mall, where you can validate your purchase for VAT refund. All major luxury designer brands have stores here. Terrace was closed but the floor under had a huge Christmas market. There's also clean washrooms and family rooms, I believe on the same floor. The food court offers multiple options; there's a few eateries, then open food menu, you fill your tray and then pay at the end. We also found a coffee shop, on I believe the third floor where seating time was limited due to the holiday rush. A must visit spot for all your luxury shopping under one roof in Paris!

Best Christmas shopping place in Paris. Sunset view on the terrace and the fairy lights around the streets, luxury in every corner. With Christmas lights, it's more fascinating and awestrucking.

Incredibly beautiful and luxury shopping mall. About 6 floors high with every brand you can think of. Lots of cafes and dessert shops as well. Cool Christmas lights during the holiday season. Very nice gift shop at the top and beautiful terrace overlooking parts of the city. It can get very crowded, especially during peak hours and weekend.

Beautiful shopping center that does not disappoint for the holidays! Christmas displays like I've never seen before! Offering high end shopping to tourist related focuses, Lafayette has something for everyone. At the top of the building, there are breathtaking views of the city! Food and coffee are available on most floors to keep the energy flowing!

Very big and beautiful Lafayette store. The rooftop is very beautiful, can climb up there to see the nice view of Paris. The shopping center has many floors, we can find almost everything here. The building next to the main building is for men, and the building opposite is for the house. There are RER and metro station underground, there are even the bus stops around, there are paid parking underground also. So convenient to come here for shopping.

This place has it all - if you are looking for high fashion anyway. They staff are helpful and delightful. They entire store is visually appealing. They have great cafes and just an all around great place to visit. Be aware that you make your purchases by the section of the store you are in - so you have to make your mind up quick or venture back. Worth coming in to check out even if you don’t intend to buy. Don’t forget to check out the rooftop view. One of the best in Paris.

Beautiful shopping mall. Kinda fun to just walk around and have a look. You can visit the rooftop terrace for free for a great view of Paris. If you love the turn of the 20th Century, Art Deco vibe, then you'll love the building. So gorgeous, fun to photograph.

The building is very historic and definitely worth going. The terrace up on the top floor is actually higher than the dome itself and you can walk out there and see the surrounding buildings. You can literally find any name brand you can imagine here at this place. If you’re overwhelmed by scents of perfume and excessive people lining up, it may not be for you.

What an absolutely stunning shop this is! Wanted to see their Christmas display as we visited some years back and it was amazing them. Wonderful departments and a fantastic hot chocolate in the cafe. Of course, the view from the terrace is simply awe-inspiring. It's definitely worth a visit when in Paris! Photos are of the Christmas display and the views from the terrace

This is no ordinary mall. It is absolutely stunning. It has all of the major luxury brands. It has multiple restaurants where you can get wine, coffee, lunch/dinner. It has a rooftop deck that has the most spectacular view of the city and Eiffel Tower. at Christmas it was beautifully decorated.

One of the best shopping centre in Paris - I lived in Paris for 20years - Perfect to find any big clothing brand, famous perfume, designer brand. It is a huge shopping centre spread on several levels There’s few good restaurants at the bottom and top level. Bathrooms are quiet hard to find. Ladies are located on the 3rd floor and Men on the first floor

A great store to browse relax and enjoy the retail environment. Everything is here to purchase for men’s, woman’s, perfume, and jewelry. You can even grab a Cappuccino and enjoy the beautiful view over the dome. Well presented, large store with plenty of lifts, open areas and helpful staff.

It was very beautiful. A lot of designer brands and the architecture was mesmerizing. On the last floor is a restaurant a Souvenir shop and an entrance to the rooftop where you could see the gigantic city and take some amazing photos. Even had the chance to watch a fashion show. Very cool. Be prepared to spend 💰 😏

The best shopping mall in the world & the main one of Paris. It is a heaven for shoppers. There is no brand in the world which you won’t be able to find here. The most unique designs & collections. If you are in Paris please do visit this place once. There are three buildings. One for men’s, one for women’s & one for food & restaurants.

It may be the most famous department store in Paris. The Christmas tree that goes well with the top of the ground is spectacular, and you can have a chance to see downtown Paris on the rooftop. The food at the food court is also delicious, and it is a good place to shop and relax as you can enjoy a variety of shopping with chestnut jam bought as a gift.

This place always surprises me. Everytime I visit this place i see something new and better than the previous one. This Mall is not only big, but so chic, filled with really high quality stores. There are so many things to see in this place that i think one day won't be enough. Of course the restaurants here and cafe look really nice and with that theater like design, makes you feel like in a 1940 movie. Everytime i travel to Paris, i visit this place m

One of the most beautiful shopping malls in the world. Even if you're not going to buy anything, it's worth visiting and enjoying the beauty of the interior! There is a beautiful terrace on the roof with a beautiful view of Paris and the Garnier Opera House.

(Updated) For travellers and tourists: The tax refund staffs are very helpful and efficient, and will assist you for tax refund right at the mall and you only have to submit the tax free form at the airport. It should be located at the first floor. At the roof terrace, there is 180 degrees view of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, which is free of charge for the public including people who did not purchase anything at the mall. The lost and found service located at the basement. Note there is also free WIFI service provided.

**Make sure you go to the rooftop! Beautiful views. Very nice shopping malls! Lots of high-end brands. Just too many people there! If you want to buy a popular brand make sure you have enough time to wait for a long line. Otherwise, they have many beautiful places for taking pictures! I really love the architecture! Also, the restrooms are huge and clean.

This shopping house is really huge. You'll find all the best brands here. 3 floors only for women-impressive. There are also some caffees if you need to sit and relax from shopping :) 👉Very important thing for me- you can find where to charge your phone, just look down on the walls and near the changing rooms👈 The view from the terrace is amazing. You can see the Eiffel Tower in a far and half of the city under your feet. Christmas time here is really crowded ,mostly because of the most beautiful Christmas tree that you can find in Paris.

I think that the pictures speak by themselves. Welcome in Paris. The big stores. Galeries Lafayette.Luxury, excess, elegance, refinement beauty , amazing decors that changes regularly. Service is top notch. The store is huge with extensive designer inventory from nearly all of the top brands. If they don’t have a particular style or size, they are able to check all designer stores around Europe for inventory. Will definitely be back to shop here. Absolutely stunning Christmas displays too.

Did a little bit of shopping in Gucci. I do have to say that since the men’s section is in a completely different location is a bit annoying. I wish that everything was all in one area. Nonetheless, it was fun and the cat refund process was super easy. We got the help we needed for the vat refund process. I recommend getting Pierre Hermes macarons if you’re ever here!!! Super delicious and I’m never disappointed!

I love it! Wish you good shopping 🛍️ 👋

Gorgeous architecture and amazing department stores. If you enjoy brand names and high end fashion, you’re in the right spot. Practically every department store/individual is bilingual (English/French). There are two entrances and two separate buildings, one for men’s and the other for women’s/restaurant but there is also a bridge connecting the two on the 2nd floor. There are other ways to get across but due to either COVID or construction, they were closed. I recommend going to the terrace for a gorgeous view of the city - you can access it if you are on the women’s side. If you’re traveling during COVID, then make sure you have your green pass as they check it at the main entrances.

Up market department store, unless you have money for me it was window shopping only. I recommend doing the glass walk but best to reserve it online in advance on their website. They had beautiful Christmas displays this year

  • 5/5 Jonathan R. 4 months ago on Google
I had a wonderful experience at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, primarily drawn by the Christmas display and window pop-ups, which were absolutely worth the visit. The decorations were stunning, and the array of high-end department stores added to the charm. Despite the high volume of crowds, expected during the holiday season, it didn't detract from my overall visit. This is a must-see destination in Paris during the holidays. If you plan on experiencing the glass walkway, I recommend scheduling well in advance, as it was in high demand, and unfortunately, we were unable to secure tickets.

  • 5/5 Micaela A. 4 months ago on Google
Loved the Christmas tree display. Didn't really shop at the centre but I saw some items that looked really great and I checked the tag just out of curiosity and they weren't crazy high so I guess you maybe be able to find many stylish, expensive looking clothes here for different budgets. The level where you can see the tree from the top was very busy but it is equally possible if not better to take pictures of the tree from lower levels.

  • 4/5 Nate H. 4 months ago on Google
Super crowded beyond belief, we went in late November and it was nuts. Literally pushed from behind up and down the escalators, very dangerous. So be aware if your not into heavy crowds don't go. Don't forget to go to the top of the building and get you photo taken in front of the Paris sign. We also ate at the buffet that is one floor down good to grab a beer and some food. We enjoyed the Christmas windows outside on the street then we went across the street to the housewares building.

Even as someone who wouldn't buy anything, it was an intriguing and distinct experience to walk through all the fancy shops and just enjoy the ambience. And a tip for vibe seekers - hop down to the lower floor for extra 80s atmosphere 😄

  • 2/5 Alina S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful store with a good selection but... shopping there was not a pleasant experience. 1. When buying a bag, there were 2 stickers on the label about a 30% discount (larger) and 40% (small) - they refused to sell it at a 40% discount, saying that it was accidentally pasted there ... 2. When buying in 2 departments, I found out about the form and how to issue a tax refund - I was told that I didn’t need to draw up anything, a check was enough, as a result, stamps were refused at customs due to the fact that there was no special form that had to be issued in the store. I contacted the customer service, where in the end they answered me, next time be more careful It's very disappointing to have such a disrespectful attitude towards the customer.

Fabulous place to stop if not to shop but just gaze on the architecture and gorgeous stained glass window in the middle. You also get a fabulous view of Paris on the very top floor of the observatory deck by taking the escalator/elevator straight up! A must visit on a sunny beautiful day.

What an amazing experience visiting this beautiful shopping centre, with over 6 floors of opulent products with names and brands you only dreamt of! Make sure you visit the roof terrace for a spectacular panoramic vista over the whole of Paris including the Eiffel Tower! We did a macaron making course in the galleries and it was great, then went and bought some more! Feels like a traditional shopping place like Frasers or John Lewis or Harrods even... You really could spend a lot of money there... We also had a lovely lunch on the 6th floor, but there are cafés overlooking the atrium on almost every floor... It's a bit of a day trip if you like shopping. Bringing so many brands together saves you hours of walking the streets to get your favourite brand! Such style, amazing... Was very busy tho, but a must see in Paris.

However got here about 30 minutes before the closing and the lines to pay were very long and at the end I couldn’t pay for the things I was shopping for; so sadly I had to leave them. However; the view of Paris from the last floor was something amazing and incredible 🌅

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann is a renowned department store in Paris known for its extensive range of branded merchandise. Here's a breakdown of the experience: 1. **A Brand Paradise:** Galeries Lafayette Haussmann boasts an impressive collection of branded goods, offering shoppers a comprehensive selection of high-quality products. 2. **Architectural Marvel:** The store's architecture is a true standout. The stunning design adds an extra layer of charm to the shopping experience, making it a delight for both fashion enthusiasts and architecture aficionados. 3. **Considerate, Yet Limited Restrooms:** While the store provides restroom facilities, it's worth noting that they may be on the smaller side. While sufficient, guests should be prepared for this aspect. 4. **Rooftop Vistas:** A definite highlight is the option to ascend to the rooftop, providing visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Parisian skyline. It's an opportunity not to be missed. In summary, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann is a shopping mecca, offering a wide array of prestigious brands alongside stunning architectural aesthetics. While the restroom facilities may be somewhat compact, the chance to enjoy a splendid view of Paris from the rooftop more than makes up for it. It's an experience that seamlessly combines shopping with sightseeing.
