The hotel has mice!!! The hotel should not be open. I went with my daughters on vacation for 1 week. We had different rooms. From the beginning of our staying there, we were hearing weird noises from the ceiling. The night before we leave one mouse decided to come INTO the room because we had food in the room!!! It jumped on my daughter's leg!!! And we were eating breakfast there every morning.

Booked this hotel 28.12.22 till 01.01.23. First would like to say that the swimming pool, steam room, gym and all is completely shut for good and has been for 3 years. Sadly, I booked this hotel as a Paris spa get away with my boyfriend so I was not happy with that. Also, there is not a lot of food options for dinner and lunch. I paid for half board and was not allowed to get some of the options on the menu, eg, burger and steak. The breakfast however was good and very clean. Staff, most are nice. However, I went down to ask for a towel and the women did not even look at me while I was talking to her and she said "no" then walked away... Rooms are small but good for a short stay! very clean and bed get re made during the day

It was one of the worst stays I ever had in a Hotel. On the pictures in the internet it seems like a basic hotel with clean rooms. When we came here we got a room that looked like it was never renovated since the 80s. There was no wooden floor as on the pictures on the website. instead there was old carpet, the bed was super old and almost fell apart, the windows were dirty. We asked for an another room but only get the room next door which looked the same. Ibis please put pictures online that also fit the reality. Not worth the money.

Horrible breakfast. Rude staff one told me I had to get out of the room a day before I needed to. Actually screaming at me in the corridor. Mice running around the rooms. Bet closed early.. Entrance from the street levem smelt of piss. Full of coach parties. Rooms dated and badly laid out.

This is the first review I've ever done because this place was so awful. I stayed at this place for nine days on a group trip; this place is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. To start, online it says it has air conditioning and that is just not true. I woke up in a puddle of sweat almost every morning. The room is petite with so don't expect to sit on anything other than your bed which do not fit anyone above 6'0''. The bathrooms are just as small. On almost ten different occasions, my key card stopped working and I had to run back down to the concierge to get them to rescan it. This happened with multiple people in my group. Lack of staffing is appalling with lines to check in going around the hotel daily. Serious repairs and investment is needed in the hotel to make it a comfortable stay. The stock photos make it 100x better than it is. You won't see me at an ibis hotel again.

This is a very good hotel for its price, slightly worried having read the reviews about cleanliness, room layouts but it’s likely down to how much you have paid and what type of room you have booked. We didn’t see any mice and if that is the exception you should definitely approach the staff, I am sure they will help you. We paid £350 for 4 nights in a double room. Maybe we got lucky, but put it this way, we are leaving in a very good mood. The staff have been brilliant, they are so helpful and attentive, they are very patient if you aren’t fluent in French and all of the people we spoke to spoke English and they didn’t mind. The rooms had been cleaned so well and everyday. We really feel like we got good value for money staying here, it’s in a nice neighbourhood, close to all the transport links, it is definitely a hotel I would visit again. No issues whatsoever. Thank you very much for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We booked the connecting family room for four people. This has a double bed in one room and two singles in the connecting room. Both rooms have their own bathrooms which was nice. The rooms were small, think university dorm room sizes but they were functional. Beds were comfortable and the showers very warm. The rooms were clean. There were shower gel and towels provided. The staff on reception were helpful and nice. The two things I did not like were the fact that there is no kettle or tea making facilities in the room. There is also no mini fridge. Getting to this place via Google maps and walking was a bit tricky. We walked around twice before finding the street elevator that takes you up to the front entrance. The elevator is a street/communal one I think because it was dirty and stank. The hotel elevators were clean and so was the hotel itself. We noticed that most guests cut through the underground car park to walk down to the main road so we did that too and didn’t use the smelly communal elevator again. If you cut through the car park then it’s only a 5 minute walk to public transport links. There are bus stop, metro, train, and tram options available to get to most sights. The hotel is like a 25 minute journey to most sights via public transport. There is a Carrefour express supermarket 5 minutes walk down on the main road. There are also restaurants and cafes if you walk in the opposite direction from the metro stops. For what we paid I was satisfied with our stay.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel despite people moaning about location food and various others. Its a bed. What more do you want. Obviously some people expect 5 star service. Take note that the entire hotel will be closed soon for major upgrades which is expected to take around 2 weeks. (Maybe the critics might enjoy it after that.) It has free WiFi and the entrance is very easy to find. Brwkfast is awesome

We stayed there for a long weekend and unfortunately had quite a bad experience. The rooms are clean, but very small, pieces of the floor tiles missing. For two people we got two towels that smelled as if they were stored close to the kitchen. The windows have never been cleaned, but view would not have been nice anyways. Everything was very shabby. Parked the car in the garage for 20€/ night and when we got there after 3 nights, it was fully covered in bird droppings. I complained at the counter and got as reply, that I was the only one who ever said anything, where they clearly have a major pigeon problem. We for sure will not return.

Horrible experience and not expected as part of Ibis (stayed in the 2nd week of October 2022) 1. There was no blanket for the bed, I asked the reception and they told that in Ibis they don't provide the blanket and we need to use as-is (felt very pathetic at this time) 2. Mice problems - we heard about this and thought that people were simply saying it but then we actually faced this issue in our room 3. Air conditioner / Heater - Not appropriate for the room as it was not working properly and no air circulation in the room even though we got the room in the 9th floor. 4. Cleaning was way below average. Not changing bed spreads even though we stayed for 4 days 5. Accessibility issues - No proper road connectivity from main road to hotel and we had to take the car parking pathway to reach the hotel and this was also not kept clean 6. Restroom at the ground floor was kept Out of order and the one in the room was very very small. A normal sized person cannot close the door unless he gets into the bathtub 7. Bed was very hard and not comfortable I could have easily given 0 rating for this hotel, but only one thing that we liked was that one of the receptionists was very polite

Dirty rooms and the bathrooms have black mould. Small rooms with weird layouts. Staff are rude, Have to pay to store your luggage after checking out and having a night flight. Dont have to pay if you come before check in though. Only 1 power outlet in a triple share room as well. Room key stopped working multiple times

Rooms have all the basics you would expect but lack coat hooks. For us the bed was on the firm side. Close to all transport links for getting around the city. Didn't know about the tourist tax, maybe should have but didn't, so was a bit surprised to pay extra for each night we were here

Clean, friendly and comfortable. We came here to experience paris on a budget. I was pleasantly surprised by what we got for the price. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. for too young lady's in a city for the first time, this was greatly appreciated. The hotel was so clean and quirky. The room was small, but very clean. We didn't spend much time in it so the lack of coffee and space didn't bother us. The shower was amazing and the bathroom very clean. Breakfast was OK, it did the job with plenty of sweet treats, meat and eggs available. Juice and coffee. But if your looking for a full fry up your in the wrong country. The bar was not open much unfortunately, again didn't bother us as we went out anyway. The street outside has some lovely restaurants. With close access to the underground, it is very simple to navigate, makeing it easy to explore all of Paris. All in all an amazing experience. You definitely got your moneys worth. Remember it's a 3 star hotel. If your expecting gourmet then go somewhere more expensive.

To be honest, this is not a proper Hotel. Service is unsatisfying because staff not helpful at all, and untrained properly as they don’t understand much of english. Secondly, room comes with yellow light, painted messy also wall is slightly mouldy. The worst is bed mattress is really thin on top as I checked is a dirty hard mattress under and only come with single bed sheet also no protector bed. Wow Surprise me! only single bed sheet! At night I can feel itchy under bedcover somehow it’s feel bed bug is around. I decided to move out the next day, even I have paid 450 euro but it’s not really worth for my safety. Staff is not friendly at all as I mentioned before, especially a reception guy with basic jumper and just not helpful when I’m asking for microwave. You might remember me, and I believe you don’t care so this is for you. Thanks Ibis, for showing me unbelievable Hotel at Paris and not actually not supposed to called Hotel since there is no hospitality basic at all. Another funny things, card for entering hotel only work for 1 day even you got long stay, another thing is when you want to make new key, they can’t recognise which room is this key card belong to. Their system is really sucks. I wonder how they check the express box if they couldn’t track the room number by card key? I’m tired after whole day, and even more tired of seeing this things. None of them is satisfied me. I don’t expect much but at least show your effort as a Hotel. I honestly do not recommend to stay here unless you don’t mind with anything I mentioned. Lastly, this place is hard to find because not sure which way is entry lol, either you using barely call lift to come up or you are walking all the way up to front desk. Even google can’t tell which side is lobby area. Surprise me! OMG! Gud luck

Filthy. Rooms are tiny. Bathroom was disgusting. 2 plugs in the same area in the room. No cups kettle etc, air conditioning not working, no bin, smallest towels in the planet (not much bigger than a hand towel), hair dryer not working, tv in a box infront of wardrobe (cant b moved), horrible place outside felt unsafe. Breakfast was average at best. Will not return

Price point for Paris and for a family of 4 is why we chose this accommodation. It is dated and air-conditioning didn't work effectively. Bathroom could do with some TLC. No tea and coffee facilities. No fridge. Beds were comfortable though. We had the joining family room so the kids had their own bedroom/bathroom which was nice.

Ac wasn’t working well. The biggest disadvantage of the room was the leakage from shower walls through glass. Worst shower design I have even seen anywhere on earth. The water was all over the place within bathroom. When I went to service desk regarding this, they said there is nothing they can do, they are aware, and handed me the towel to put it on the floor. Seems like management is aware of this and not taking any action. Room are also tight so just a heads up.

This hotel doesn't have some of the basic necessities such as kettle/coffee maker, and trash can in the living area. The built-in hair dryer in our bathroom had pieces of hair stuck to it when we arrived, and it was still there after housekeeping came the second day to clean the room. (We did not use the hairdryer.) Also, our room did not have functioning heating (the air was blowing cold even though we set the temperature to 30°C), we asked for an extra duvet but they were unable to deliver because housekeeping had that day off (??). We ended up going to Darty to get a space heater so that we didn't get sick from the cold over the night.

Very noisy hotel, cleanliness must be improved, too crowded and the staff is usually overwhelmed. The 15' policy to solve any problem is more of a marketing action only, when I needed nothing was solved. I was instructed to send an email or call the next day. 2 days later still no reply to my email and no one picks up the phone despite tenths of calls. On the third day, I finally got an answer and the manager proposed a satisfactory solution. If you are looking for a simple place only for shower, bed and breakfast for 1 or 2 nights, this is an option to be considered.

We stayed here for the World Cup rugby. What an awful hotel. Dirty, rundown, small rooms, old Linen and curtains, carpet filthy and water damage in hallways. No hot water during the day or night. Worst I’ve stayed in…. Avoid!!

The hotel is on a brilliant location, close to the "pherifirique". open 24 hours, a good parking cellar, close to RER or Metro. The staff is very kind, and speaks ceveral langueges. The bar and the restaurant has a good menu and reasonal prices. The breakfast is well prepared, but very bussy. The rooms are clean and fine equipped.

on the plus side: Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, especially the scrambled eggs. No bed bugs in my room. :) On the negative side: dirty, the stairs looked like they haven't been vacuumed for years. The walls are dirty there was plastic and big pieces of dust on floor in room, obvious that the room maids don't have enough time to clean. under-staffed, the reception needs more people, alwaays a line. And it's pretty farm from central Paris, so if there's a small price difference to another hotel I'd book the other hotel.

Small rooms, with very old furniture. The window curtains were old and with little holes in it. The bathroom was so small… the toilet was right behind the door. Old material in the bathroom, the hairdryer didn’t work. Besides that, the hotel is in a great neighborhood, full of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. There’s always people in the street so you feel safe strolling around even at night. The staff was nice and helpful.

Budget hotel, great prices and not so great rooms. Found some long hairs on the shower floor, and the beds aren't that comfy, the bathroom is super tiny and not well thought (had to enter the shower to close the door and use the toilet). The front desk was kind and amiable (at least for Paris standards), A/C worked well (which is not that common in Paris jaja), and the breakfast wasn't that bad. Went on a business trip, and the hotel was really close to the office (6 mins walk), so that was the most positive thing for me.

We specifically called the night before to request an early check in. We confirmed multiple times that we would be able to check in early. Then we arrived at the hotel and they told us we cannot check in early. Our entire day was ruined, we had to change in the public bathroom in the lobby that was so unclean. The rooms had cigarette holes EVERYWHERE - the curtains, the nightstands, the cabinets, everything was smelly too. The bathroom was decent and clean thankfully but the room was so bad. For the price we paid, it was definitely not worth it. The receptionists were also soooooo busy and barely had time to talk when it was our turn to talk. Overall, would highly recommend looking elsewhere since this hotel is charging the same as better places.

Front desk service is not so great. Didn’t feel ‘welcoming’. They don’t smile. Requested an electric kettle, to fix the soap dispenser … none of them were fulfilled. Buffet Breakfast is available, but not much varieties. We found mouse inside of our room! They moved us to different room, which is great. But that’s it! Shower has mould and I have seen rusty mirror.

Rooms are dated but clean, only one towel per person though it’s changed every day which is good. Breakfast is good, it’s not a big selection but overall is good for the money. Location is great for metro but if you are in a decent shape center is 1h away by foot, it’s never boring if you take different streets. I’d stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.

Huge hotel and quite spacious rooms. It was a bit noisy as there were a lot of schools at the time. Not very clean when it comes to the lobby but room was ok. Breakfast was very good. Very close to Paris center and points of interest.

I stayed here often and unfortunately have to say that it got worse after the pandemic. Understandably, the common area, the bar was lively before, but now it seem dead. The breakfast that I used to love even though crowded, now had more limited options. The main reason I stay here was the ample parking secured garage, large enough for my XL car (a rare thing in Paris), but now half of it was filled with rental cars. All this, while the price raised almost double from pre-pandemic. Kind of disappointing.. I am still gonna keep staying there though, until I find better and other reasonable hotel.

Pros: Location- near 2 city train stations (13&14) and long distance train station. Approachable staff- We were treated nice and raised concerns was addressed. Sound proofing- It was good, you can sleep without hearing nearby rooms Bathroom- newly renovated and size is good Cons: Small Bedroom- small moving space Broken Table/make shift bed- When we arrived they haven't removed the bed. We requested the bed to be converted back to table. It was broken and key was needed to convert it. After it was converted, a sock and trash was found. Though they cleaned it after. No toiletries- They only provide all in one liquid soap. I've been to cheap hotels back in the Philippines and they even provide toothpaste and a disposable brush. Good thing we brought our own. Limited electric socket. No mini fridge. No electric kettle. But you can go downstairs to request for hot water and utensils and cups Conclusion- If you just need a place to sleep and get some rest. The place is okay. Location is really good. Shops are nearby and there's a convenient store nearby that is open up until 1 AM But if you're planning to cook have and a bigger space better to book an airbnb. An okay place to stay in Paris.

The only good thing about the hotel was its location and friendly staff. The rooms definitely need a make-over and the hotel management should certainly consider including kettle and cups for tea. The Air Con noise was annoying specially during night. I was also handed a hefty bill for parking on site and some unknown local taxes upon check-in which were never communicated to me when I was making the booking.

Not the best experience so far. We are staying for 3 days, and neither during check-in nor when we left our luggage in the morning did the staff tell us that they won’t be providing towels. Once we realised we did not have towels in the room, calling the reception didn’t help much, we could not reach anybody after calling several times. When we went to ask for towels at the reception, at first they said, they will send someone to bring us towels, after waiting for an hour, and trying to call the reception several times, we ended up going down to the reception once again, and only then we were told they will provide only 1 towel per room due to towel shortage. Well, If this was the case, would have been great to know ahead, wouldn’t mind buying some from a store. !!

Good hôtel, very comfortable bed and perfectly adaquate space for a Paris hotel for a short stay. It was certainly clean, quiet and well located within a few minutes walk to a metro station. Decent and ample breakfast. There is indeed a proper entrance despite some comments, just check the location accurately. Take the lift or steps from street level or the drive up from the road. It is clearly signposted. I couldn't find fault, despite some people's comments. It's a city centre hotel which provides comfort and a good location for a basic budget. The staff were excellent, helpful and polite. What more can you ask for?!

  • 2/5 Nick M. 1 year ago on Google
Clean bed and clean towels which is good. Everything else is about as basic and tired as you can get. Lacks some basics. Bar not open (ever), iron in an ironing room but didn't work, no cups or glasses for water, one plug in whole room, cigarette burns in the furniture, holes in the curtains. Best thing was the shower was nice and powerful. Breakfast was nice enough, mainly breads and pastries.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights, First of this hotel is quite far from the center. This hotel do not have proper entrance and there are no signs leading to the hotel. The way we discovered was through a parking space behind the hotel space. As we checked in, we were totally disappointed with the size of the room it was incredibly small with the bed just fitting the room, the passages are so narrow within the room that only one person can stand. The room walls were not clean and had wear & tear. I went to the reception counter and asked them to change the room if possible, and provide a but bigger room. They said that this was the standard size of their rooms in the hotel. We did not expect this from Ibis Hotel and thus our stay was not that pleasant.

Overall, I had a great experience as the staff was incredibly helpful and went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The amenities were great, with clean and stylish rooms. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was unique, stylish and roomy with excellent service. It's a great value hotel with friendly reception staff who are always willing to help. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!
