This beautiful lawn is located between Pont Alexandre III and Musée de l'Armée. It is open for public for free. When visited yesterday, there was an art event supporting the life of dolphins.

I visited the place a little later in the evening just before the lights came on. It looked like a magnificent building without the lights on, but when the lights were turned on it was a completely new place. It looked so much ago. There are some places for people to sit around and relax. I would definitely recommend people to check this out after the lights are turned on.

A nice place for a stroll. It really uses the Hospital Des Invalides in the backdrop well.

Lots of traffic, not so much shade, but if the weather is nice it's lovely for a picnic in chic-sih area of town.

Ein sehr schöner Platz. Wir durften am 14.Juli Nationalfeiertag, die verschiedenen Helikopter und Kampfflugzeuge bestaunen.

Interesting place, with an exquisite entrance gate and old cannons and other military equipment around. Lovely greenery and architecture and beautiful road leading to the gate with golden figures on monuments on the side of the road!

Sehr interessant, natürlich als deutscher zu betrachten, wie die Franzosen auf ihre Vergangenheit zurückschauen und wie sie diese in solch einem Museum darstellen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall mal reinzuschauen! Very interesting, of course, to consider German, how the French look back on their past and how they represent it in such a museum. Definitely worth taking a look!

The Esplanade des Invalides is a 250 m wide and open lawn area on the north side of the Hotel des Invalides that spreads to the Seine River. You will have a wide and unobstructed view of Hôtel National des Invalides Army Museum from the Esplanade des Invalides. The French Foreign Ministry and the home office of Air France are also located around this Esplanade des Invalides. You can view the invalid on one side and the Alexander Bridge on the other side from this great place.

The Esplanade des Invalides is the area between the Alexandre III bridge, over the Seine River, and the buildings of the military museums and the Domo dos Invalides, which guards Napoleon's sarcophagus. These are buildings built in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Historisch sehr interessant. Es zeigt außerdem, dass ein Volk stolz auf seine Vergangenheit und diejenigen is,die für das Land gekämpft haben.

Park in a front of this building is full of life, golden dome behind a place is also gorgeous, inner park has lits of rabbits.

This is the main street to reach out the historical Les Invalides landmark, including Tomb of Napoleone. This avenue is really impressive for his size, especially the width and the well maintained gardens that surrounds this avenue till the monument. You can admire this avenue from the Alexandre III bridge as well.

Beautiful place but the attitude of the workers there kills everything. So, no one wants to speak English (maybe they don't know english, of course, french education level isn't the highest), even when it's very clear that we DON'T speak french. Everyone is impolite, pretentious and with a ton of attitude. There is no free toilter on the whole terrirory of the place. It's either a weird self-cleaning automatic toilet with a heavy metal door that will lock you inside if you don't come out in time (and even that one didn't work, kept giving us the coins back). Or a few toilets that you can only get an access if you buy a ticket (!). So if you don't care about the museum and you are just walking around and want to use the toilet - you need to pay 16 euro. Only french people would dare to ask you to buy a ticket to use a toilet, really. And another beautiful thing - the exit was closed for reconstruction, there was no other exit point, so to get out of the place we had to walk all the way back and make a huge circle just to get across the street from where the exit was supposed to be. And all this is with the full bladder. Thanks a lot. Not worth it. At all.

Amazing field just to chill in the evening watch the sun go down or Eiffel sparkle and other surrounding buildings.

I went to the Esplandade and sat out on the lawn. There were people dancing and preparing for a festival. Lots of space to enjoy sunshine. It wasn't too busy. You have a good view of the Eiffel Tower and Hotel Invalides. It's much calmer and cleaner than the Champs du Mars, perfect for a day out in the sun.

Comfortable place to lie down in the summer. Just get a bottle of wine and some cheese and bread! The views are amazing and you’ll have a lot of french company. Watch for dog poop in the grass.

Beautiful, historic spot for any tourist. One can have a nice picnic on a beautiful day. Some areas are dedicated for rollers skating. There are days when groups of people gather there to danse and perform some acts. I recommend
