A beautiful building that can be visited. There are old documents and small apartments. The gardens are calm and pleasant. You can easily stop during a walk in the neighborhood!

Superb private mansion, closed to the public, but the gardens and the garden side façade are visible when entering towards the National Archives Museum (rue des Francs-Bourgeois) and turning right towards the gardens in front of the museum entrance.

Gorgeous. The visits organized during heritage days are excellent! To visit, to explore, to better understand how the country works, in the past and today. The staff is very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the place and its history. THANKS!

Neoclassical building that houses an interesting collection of historical documents and objects related to them. The oldest document dates back to the 8th century!!!! You can't miss it if you are a lover of history and its interpretation through texts.

Organization to be reviewed for heritage days. Arriving at 2:45 p.m. for the visits, we had to wait 45 minutes before getting a ticket at 3:30 p.m. for a visit at 4:30 p.m. The problem is that they only distribute 20 tickets for visiting the large depots every 30 minutes so you are forced to queue in the hot sun to hope to get a ticket. Most institutions offer online booking now or on site and you just have to show up at the scheduled time. It should also be put in place even if it means making up for absences by allowing people on site to replace those who do not show up. Otherwise for the visit, it was very good.

Magnificent mansion that cannot be visited. Built in 1705 by the Soubise Rohan family, then 4 cardinals from Rohan lived there until the affair of the queen's necklace. Later Napoleon made it the national archives.
