If you like steak and fries, go for it! You need to wait in line in order to get it, but it is totally worth it. The line moves fast, and when you enter the magic starts. They give you a box of bread, and then a salad which contains lettuce, a delicious sauce and nuts. Then, they serve the fries with the meat, and after you are finished they serve a second round. This dish costs 30 euros per person. You can also go for a drink, or dessert, which costs extra. The waitresses are really nice and cheerful, and the service is perfect. The restaurant itself is beautiful, classic style and packed with people, making a warm and cozy atmosphere to eat.

I've been going here since around 1977 or 78 since an American friend introduced me to it. I try to get back at least once or twice a year. It has always been consistently good and one of my favorites - that is until recently. Something has happened to the precision you used to feel in the preparation and service. Last night's experience may well be my last. Our salads were missing that sharp flavor they've always had even if the size was reduced a good while back. I really missed the precision of the staff last night too. When the steaks were served the plates were definitely smaller than they have always been. When re-served, our 5 steaks all on the same platter were all over the place and portions unequal. It just seemed sloppy and a bit shocking after all these years. The others in my group had all been there several times and all shared the same feelings. Has there been major changes in ownership or management? I'd be interested to know if others feel the same?

They open right at 7pm for dinner service so get in line by 6:30 to guarantee your seat in their first round. We went at 6:45 on a Tuesday night and were seated but there was a long line after us! Food was just okay, you’re there for the experience. Salad is very basic, steak was a little overcooked in my opinion, sauce was good but nothing special. Shoestring fries were crispy. I liked how they only serve one set menu and it comes in two rounds so the steak and fries stay hot! it’s very affordable at 30 euro for salad steak and fries! We also got a bottle of their house red for 17 euro. Paired well with the meal! Service was good. Also, they don’t have ketchup so don’t ask 😅

Steak and fries menu only done perfectly! They start with salad and baguette. Then followed by your steak and fries with special sauce. The restaurant is packed but has great energy. The service is very efficient. You need to fall in line before they open to get a table right away.

We have reached the restaurant at 14.20, but anyway, we have been served and the antricot was so tasty that it is not possible to describe it with words. The dressing of the meat was delicious! We have ordered red wine too. For desert we had no place, but I have seen it was interesting too. If you want to visit, take in account, there could be a line in front of this restaurant. The price was as expected 40 € per person. Thank you!

Very popular place for locals and tourists. Typically there is a wait to get in. There really isn't a menu. It's 30 euros per person. Starts with a salad then the main dish. Some tenderloin, served to your desired temperature, a sauce over the meat and lots of fries. They also bring you seconds. The waitress we had was very friendly.

The best place for eating “entrecôte” in Paris. With their special sauce made of basil garlic and butter. Their fries also perfect. The amount of food are perfect for someone who eats a lot. Today we tried the desserts and they were super good. I don’t give the 5 stars because the place is small and you are not able to book a table.

Steak is very good and tasty with amazing sauce which is really fatty and heavy, I didn’t like Salad at all the sauce is tasting bad, I can’t understand why there is no reservation instead of keeping people waiting in the street freezing, I don’t think the food deserve the very long waiting time in the street. I can understand to book and come back in 1 or 2 hours but keeping customers in the street in completely disrespectful

Flavourful steak frites and friendly staff! Our waiter was friendly and a joy to talk to. The gravy was delicious and will leave you licking your plate. For €30 you get bread, salad, two servings of the steak frites, and a dessert. The desserts are all so good but especially the le vacherin du Relais. I highly recommend coming here for dinner!

When in Paris… make this one of your eating experiences! Fantastic service ( they are on you like glue) . One question, how would you like ur steak cooked! She easy and naturally they got it right and tasted amazing. No reservations so waiting might also be good n the menu, but it’s so worth it !!

The best experience I’ve ever had! Fantastic place with the best food, wine and dessert. There is always a line so show up a bit earlier. Highly recommended if you want to have a perfect night in Paris.
