Jean was a great host, helped with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed every moment, and will definitely recommend it.

Excellent little bed and breakfast. Owner is as nice as they come and the breakfast is great Parisian fare. The bed was so comfy, I got over my jetlag in one night! Many great restaurants in the immediate area as well, and Jean (the owner) is more than happy to recommend a few! A couple of cons (not enough to deduct stars, in my opinion): 1. I could hear my neighbors (other renters) which means the walls must be very thin. The renters were quiet, though, so it didn't bother me. 2. The shower door seal was not watertight, so my first shower resulted in a nice cold puddle outside the shower door when finished. I have to say these cons are nitpicks when compared with the rest of the experience, though! I mention them only for completeness!

Very disappointed about the service during and after my stay.Until today ( two weeks after my stay) i am still waiting for my invoice that i asked. Every time that i call or message the owner , hè completely ignores my text or phone call. Very disrespectful person!! I booked a room via bookin, sended mails to booking that I am not receiving an invoice and booking says that it is up to thé owner to make an invoice! After 4 messages and 2 phone calls that are ignored still waiting for thé invoice. This person is really not an honnest and correct person. Everytime I asked something during my stay , I receive thé answer ‘ on booking I receive a 9/10’. Hè is Just focused in having a raté and is so fake and dishonnest to people. A little bit about the accommodation: Arriving at the b&b the owner came down, took our luggages to thé room and explained us about thé facilities. It was straight and to thé point. Thé breakfast that was served was very basic and poor. When I asked the owner if we could have something else then on the table I received thé answer ‘ on booking i receive a 9/10 , everyone is satisfîed’. There was 1 croissant per person, a bit of Bread, cheese and charcuterie. The fruit was Just a banaan en Apples. Honnestly for thé price that we have payed, it could have been a little bit more then that.

Amazing service, the host is very nice and helpful. The room was amazing. Breakfast was delicious, best croissants we had and and amazing desert. It is very good distance from multiple points such as monmarte, louvre and hopon-hopoff bus station. If I am ever in Paris I will stay in the same place again.

The host is good, the bed is comfort. The location is great that you only get to metro for 1 min. As it located in district 1,2, it is safe to walk around. The apartment is beautiful and well decorated. The host will clean up everyday. We are happy to stay there for 5 days and we are pleased that found that hotel by luck.

I had a lovely stay at My Home for You. Jean Etienne (the owner/host) is so friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations of places to see and eat, local events, and how to get places. He was kind enough to buy tickets online for me one morning to the fabulous Musée d'Orsay, saving me from standing in a line to purchase them. The location of this B&B is wonderful, and safe for a female to walk around alone. There is a metro 15 feet in front of the building, and a Starbucks and M&S food store directly across the street...as well as many other restaurants very nearby. The B&B itself is immaculately clean, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom has a rain shower nozzle with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is croissants, bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat, one home-made creation each day and some of the best coffee ever! If you do not need the big chain hotel stay, this is the place for you...an authentic Paris experience!!

We have just enjoyed our second stay at My Home For You. The ownerJean Etienne is the most wonderful host and includes wonderful touches such as home made cakes with the excellent breakfast. It really is like staying in your own beautifuly decorated apartment in the heart of Paris. Jean Etienne is very generous with his knowledge and time so you always feel so welcome. We cannot recommend highly enough and we hope to return soon! .

Last three nights (May 4th-7th, 2018) we stayed at this nice place. We felt like home, like we were staying with a family of many different nationalities. Étienne provided us with information on various interesting places in Paris and how to get there. The beds gave us good sleep and the breakfast was very good. Thanks. Gudrun & Geir.

Wonderful place to stay! Jean is an excellent host. The appartment is beautifully presented and furnished. It is very quiet despite being so central. Easy to walk from the Gare du Nord, towards the Sacre-Cour and down to the Le Marais region of Paris. A metro stop is right on the doorstop as well. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Crazy man received me, if you want relax and save residence don't live here

Booked direct with Jean and looked after us very well,with something a little extra to drink. I would suggest booking direct as he looked after us very well. Room large with a view, very clean, assisted with metro tickets, tickets to the river cruise and general advice re places to eat and go. Was pricey but that's Paris for you with the low Australian dollar, even had an Aussie pub down the road to watch the Aussie women soccer player lose to the Poms. Thanks Jean, S&J
