We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Our food was tasty and well presented. The service was pleasant and waiters were attentive.

Dined for dinner. I had the prawn/calamari for entree, lamb rump for main & we shared the passionfruit souffle for dessert. Food was tasty & service friendly. Side note for anyone wanting to dine here with gourmet traveller giftcards, they didn't work due to issue that the terminal name for the restaurant is different to their trading name, very frustrating, so whilst we choose this restaurant from the participating restaurants menu, we had to pay the expensive bill from our own pocket due to redeeming voucher issues.

Very good service , nice locations . Food presentation is beautiful. Menu are limited but which could be both good and bad, all personal preference. Quality of food is very good The mushroom omelettette is very nice

Took my partner here last night (Saturday night) to celebrate his birthday. Everything was amazing! Food were delicious, I ordered the Mushroom Rotolo and my partner had the Eye Fillet - Perfection👌 Our waitresses were so lovely and attentive -first class service⭐ The ambience was elegant and cosy,loved it so much! The restaurant was not too full nor too empty, very pleasant. We highly recommend Lord Cardigan and I was so glad we came here for this special occasion. Thank you so much for making it such a great dining experience for us😊

Superb dining experience every time we have the special treat of visiting Lord Cardigan. We love coming here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Dominique is front of house and is the most gracious host and truly skilled re her advice on wines, champagne and every course. Dom’s husband John is truly a phenomenal chef. The food is beautifully presented and the different tastes and pairing of food for each course will blow you away and you will leave looking forward to returning again. We love Lord Cardigan so much we had by 40th here and will now have my 50th. A very special place and I can’t recommend this dynamic husband/wife team enough. If you are lucky to live in Melbourne you can visit often but if you are flying in then make sure you book ahead❤️

What a cosy little neighbourhood gem! Firstly, the lady who greeted and served us throughout the evening was so warm and friendly! We ordered the vegetable crisps (delish), the beetroot tart (favourite dish), eye fillet (cooked to perfection), the venison pie (good) and the chocolate pudding for dessert (so decadent). We loved every dish, and the wine list was fantastic. The only slight negative if we had to pick one was that the restaurant was almost empty, which was surprising because the food, service and ambience was amazing - maybe because it was a cold Wednesday Winter evening. We will be back!

We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. My mums exact 2 words were 1st class, The food, service and atmosphere were excellent and the wine was phenomenal!

Food was amazing. Atmosphere was elegant and romantic. Service was excellent. Friendly staff attentive to your needs and very knowledgeable. Souffle was the best I've ever tasted. I will definitely going back there.

Very impressed at this restaurant. The food was all very tasty, with a good balance of flavours and interesting use of flavours and ingredients. You could tell the chef knew what they were doing and was not afraid to add their own spin on classic dishes. Service and atmosphere was faultless as well. Photo is of the fish of the day : snapper.

Delightful manager and staff, great menu, the tasting size entrees and Christmas pudding were my highlights. Duck pie main was delicious too. Very happy.
