Being
from
the
San
Fernando
Valley
living
in
Woodland
Hills,
my
go
to
restaurant
was
the
Gaucho
Grill
in
Woodland
Hills,
but
they
closed
down
and
is
now
a
CA
Fish
Grill
location.
I
was
saddened
by
this
because
of
the
long
history,
over
20
years,
of
eating
there
and
celebrating
various
occasions
at
that
spot.
So
it
closed
down
a
few
years
back,
fast
forward
to
today
and
I
happened
upon
the
Pasadena
location.
This
location
was
vastly
more
upscale
then
the
one
a
frequented
in
Woodland
Hills.
The
ambiance
was
definitely
a
high
end
steak
house
vibe.
Dark
and
moody
with
a
robust
bar.
Kind
of
a
Javiers
feel
to
it.
Anyhow
I
met
up
with
a
few
friends
for
diner
and
was
impressed
at
the
service,
special
mention
to
Gabriela
who
treated
us
to
a
special
night
even
though
there
was
no
special
event
to
speak
of.
We
started
of
with
some
empanadas
beef
and
spinach,
The
Evita
salad,
Butter
lettuce,
candied
walnuts,
pickled
onions,
apple,
dates,
manchego
cheese,
balsamic
vinaigrette.
It
was
arranged
as
to
look
like
a
lettuce
wrap!
So
good
and
tasty.
Shared
a
RIGATONI
PASTA
WITH
CHORIZO,
Argentinian
sausage,
slightly
spicy
creamy
sauce,
cherry
tomatoes,
nutmeg,
parmesan
shaves.
Perfect
for
a
shared
meal.
Finished
with
I
would
say
a
major
highlight,
dessert,
EL
GRAN
FINAL
Budin,
bunuelos,
flan,
panqueque,
gelato,
which
was
enough
for
7
people
to
share
and
be
completely
satisfied.
The
flan
was
so
smooth
and
DO
NOT
miss
the
Panqueque,
so
decadent!
Loved
the
experience
and
would
love
to
come
back
for
more,
This
place
has
everything
you
need
Service
(Gabriela!),
Ambiance
and
Food!
