Okay so Derek needs to open his own RFD in San Diego so I can eat good food with great service more often! This is my very first time at this location however, Derek greeted us like we were in for our 15th time! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave drink recommendations all the way down to dessert. He's clearly a fan of the food himself which was a delight to see. Not only that, we were out just prancing around celebrating our anniversary and was looking for a good vegan dessert and not only did we get the BEST vegan Chocolate mousse cake, he brought it out with all the bells and whistles. He genuinely gave his sincerest congrats which was so kind. Way to go Derek!! 5 star service!! (I did over hear he works Wednesday's, Friday's & Sunday's, so definitely visit on one of those days) The food, we took it to go and it was packaged so perfectly! Delicious delicious delicious. I 100% need a RFD in San Diego asap!

Disclaimer: they were understaffed the day I visited, so that could have led the less than great experience. We called in advance to get a reservation but still had to wait for a table to be ready. Additionally it took more than 45 minutes from when we sat down to get our food. I ordered the No-Huevos Rancheros and they turned out okay - the tortillas were extremely soggy. The tofu scramble was alright, but it had an odd taste and the texture was a little rubbery. The ginger lemonade was fresh, but definitely had way more ginger than lemonade. It was extremely bitter and I could not taste any lemon. I'm not sure I would want to this place again.

Very good lunch after long day. The food is awesome and the staff too. They brought me definitely some positiveness to my day. I enjoyed breakfast burrito, my husband got very tasty big bowl of satysfying salad and we also ordered the green protein smoothie. Everything clean, absolutely delicious and nutritious. It was great to find in Pasadena another location of Real Food Daily.

We got the mushroom pizza, which was delicious. We thought the Reuben sandwich was a bit of a letdown - there wasn’t much in it and the French fries didn’t even come with any type of sauce/ketchup for takeout. We would try something else from the menu next time. The food delivery on Friday night was pretty quick (under an hour), which we really appreciated.

Definitely a must go in Los Angeles. Best Tuna Melt in my life. The tot nachos are unreal.

The food tasted amazing. No one in my party was vegan, yet we all loved the food. They have lots of options and a big space, which is a plus. Oh and the oat-milk latte was absolutely perfect. A couple of things to improve: 1) We tried their chocolate cake and carrot cake, and we didn't like either of them (excessively sweet and dry.)Their bakery is all gluten free, and I'm guessing vegan, so that's probably why you'd be better off somewhere else. 2) The service was slow even though there weren't many people in the restaurant. We are still in a pandemic, though, so I can't complain. Overall, very good experience.

I'm not a vegetarian and like to eat a bit of everything and normally do not gravitate towards vegetarian food. This place is amazing. Had the best lasagna I've ever had and you have to try the alfredo pasta with mushrooms or even the Comfort Bowl. This place has made a Believer out of me. There is adequate parking along with handicap parking and a short walk over to the restaurant. Beautiful environment nice and cozy and very friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and try healthy for a change and you'll be amazed at the flavor in this place! Oh! And don't forget to try the desserts. My favorite peanut butter cookie anywhere!

Super vegan place. Big menu. Food was delicious.

Food is delicious! No wait to be seated on at Saturday brunch time. Patio has heating and is tucked away from the busy part of town. Service was super. You must try the wedding cookies, they melt in your mouth. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing vegan food! Very flavorful options and lots of of them. A tad pricey maybe 20$ for a burger but such is life these days. Wonderful atmosphere at the Pasadena location light jazz music and laid back very friendly staff. Makes it all worth the trip. 10/10 recommended :)

Ordered Tuna Melt, Burrito, Buffalo Tator Tots and Mac N Cheese. Food was absolutely amazing. Price is also very high, but reflects the food quality. Out door dinning comfortable and clean. Service is impeccable and friendly.

RFD is an amazing plant based restaurant. My server Shane was exceptional. He was attentive and very helpful with explaining popular menu items. I ordered lasagna which I usually cannot have do to my cheese allergy. It did not disappoint… The savory flavor of the tomato sauce and texture of the lasagna noodles was great. They also have great tasting house margaritas. I will definitely return to this RFD in Pasadena!

Our server was really nice and gave great suggestions— We had the grilled cheeses and YUM they were so good and filling that we only had room each for half of our sandwiches and took the rest home. The cornbread was also great and wasn’t too sweet. Not a huge fan of the mashed potatoes, a bit heavy on the garlic and gravy but if that’s your thing go for it!!!

My favorite restaurant in Pasadena! Definitely get the sea cake, lasagna, and cocktails. I come anytime I’m in the area. Both my bf and I are blown away each time we’re in.

I'm not vegan or even vegetarian but I had the lasagna here and it was good. I'm not saying it was the best Italian I've had, and I grew up in a family from Sicily, but it was good. Service was good, I just left off a star because the price of the lasagna was $19 - for a piece of lasagna.

This a really good place to go eat. I highly recommend trying the lasagna, the real food burger that taste like a Mexican torta, and the jack fruit street tacos. Also there pastries are ok. I have tried the chocolate fudge cake and chocolate cheese cake. I liked the cheese cake better but my friend prefer the fudge cake. Update review: I recently visited this place again and sad to say the food wasn't the same.

I don’t understand RFD their execution is on par with my vegan but it’s triple the price… you can’t even compare the food from RFD to sage, sun cafe, or cafe gratitude it’s not even in the same ball park, this is my 3rd time in a row being utterly disappointed.. if I’m gonna pay top dollar I expect top quality, not a burger thrown together with burnt buns and forgetting avocado on a 20 dollar salad. I won’t be returning

Worst possible service. We came in at 7:30 PM on a weekday. Waited half hour after placing the order to ask about food since other tables had already received food. Was told it was coming right up. Waited another 15 minutes. Was told it was coming right up. After 45 minutes of waiting, we informed the server Adam we were leaving and he said okay bye extremely curtly. We were offered no apology and other tables were receiving their food. Will not ever return. Not sure if it was racism or what but will not be returning ever again.

The Weekender brunch was quite good and filling. Cappuccino with oat milk also nice.

The food was tasty! I got a smoothie which was yummy :) The Buffalo sauce made on the cauliflower was delish and made in house! The mozz sticks were okay, alittle soft for my liking and I wish they were larger or they gave more (it was 5 tiny sticks for $11) had I known I would’ve went for the avocado toast instead. Again, for the expensive price the portions could be just a tad larger. Especially considering there’s tons of trendy and tasty vegan options in the area. I would go back and try some of their sandwiches and other options if I’m in the area again but wouldn’t go out of my way

The food and service was great! We were here for brunch and sat in their outside patio area. Great environment and very friendly staff. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for a great vegan meal
