The patio area is large and the tables are set far enough apart that you can't hear other people's conversations. We had the fish and chips and the burger and beer combo from the happy hour menu. The food was all delicious and the presentation only added to the appeal. The grilled lemon crown was a beautiful and tasty touch for my fish. The lemon released all its delicious juice and soaked the breading perfectly. Around 6:30 a guitarist arrived and played some flamenco style music. We didn't stay very long, just for the meal, but as the sun set, the lights amd heaters went out to create a great vibe. The old fashioned was pretty good, but a little on the sweet side for my taste.

Perfect spot for brunch! Their waffles are to die for, with the strawberries, whip cream, chocolate syrup, maple syrup, and butter. It was so fluffy and filling! The patio is also so cute with the pretty plants and the sun awning, along with the string lights!

The star of today's visit was easily the portobello mushroom fries and Rosebowl cocktail.  The fries were absolutely delicious and accompanied by a yummy garlic aioli. My guest stated that the Rosebowl cocktail was light, refreshing, fragrant, delicious and beautifully presented with a rose petal floating atop. The second drink my guest tried was the Foothill Fire and it was so spicy they couldn't  finish it,  even after the bartender added  more lemon and simple syrup to the mix. The fries outshown every other  item we tried today including the short rib sliders, pork chop with fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots, and the steak frites with bone marrow butter. The short rip sliders could have used more meat for $16 and the mustard sauce over the pork chop wasn't my thing.  Additionally, the ribeye was tasty as long as it was drowned in the bone marrow butter, however without the  butter it was in serious need of salt. Lastly, nearly 80% of the dishes we received today were garnished with or seasoned with rosemary. There was a rosemary sprig in the cocktail, rosemary leaves over my fingerling potatoes, and even the fries were covered in rosemary. Why so much rosemary? Are there no other seasonings? I was also confused by the service.. I had no idea who my server was and for a majority of the meal I was being attended to by the bartender who was also providing service to the patrons on bar stools at the bar. I didn't have a server check on me, refill my drinks, clear my plates, or bring me a straw after I ask for one. I am thankful the bartender was so attentive, I  don't know if I would have gotten any service at all if it weren't for him. Not to mention, while I was waiting for service I saw a group of employees eating dinner, joking around and counting their tips from brunch service. All that could have been done out of sight of customers if they were finished with their shifts. Overall, very disappointing experience.

I've been here several times now and my experience remains the same: nice, attentive service but average food, bland presention and awful coffee. I love Eggs Benedict but they consistently overcook the eggs. So we're left with calling our server over and having them redo the eggs. Eggs Benedict are made with poached eggs, meaning they're supposed to be really runny when you cut into them. However, when you order them at foothill, they're almost hard boiled, so the whites are hard and yolks are half-solid. Not even a drop of yolk came out when I cut into it. Both times when we told the servers about the eggs, they got all flustered about it and they tried to take the whole plate. We had to explain that all we needed were new eggs that weren't overcooked. It wasn't necessary to make a brand new dish. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place.

Wife and I came here for an anniversary lunch. So happy she suggested it. I got the BBQ Jam Burger. Damn near had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite. It was delicious and then some. She got the BLTA and loved it. I have to say that their onions rings are teetering on 2nd of my list of all time favorites. We will definitely be coming back.

I came here for dinner this time. They have live music in the patio on Thursday night. The musicians are talented. It was a bit cold tonight and they do not have enough heat lamp. Our food got cold quickly. Service was awesome. Out server was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast! However, they do not have complimentary bread to offer. Here are what we ordered: Crispy Cauliflower Flourets: this is my favorite dish tonight. It was well seasoned, very flavorful, but slightly too oily. Lemon herb grill chicken: it was a giant piece of chicken. However, it was overcooked and under seasoned. The meat was rough. Salmon salad: the salad did not have enough salad dressing. The salmon was over cooked and under seasoned. I love the brunch here, and gave 5 stars for brunch. However, dinner was disappointed. I will probably return for brunch, but not dinner.

Great restaurant experience. Nice atmosphere. We started with a couple of old fahions with salmon tacos and hot wings as appetizers. The drinks and appetizers were tasty. Then we had the beef stroganoff and grilled salmon plates for dinner. They both were prepared nicely and tasted good but the stroganoff was really good. I'm glad I ordered it. It was a toss up between this and the pork chops and the rib eye. I will order the other two next times I go back. Jeff our waiter dud achreat job. He was professional and friendly and on top of things. When asked why my first old fashion wasn't as strong as I expected it to be and it didn't have muddled oranges, he made sure that bartender made it just right as requested for my second one. To finish we had coffee and hot lava cake with ice cream.

Hidden place but super cute! Parking is in the back and not next to McDonalds like I originally thought. You have to drive all the way in the back. Or you can do street parking. Lots of room to eat outside or inside comfortably. Chose inside cause it’s cold these days. The waitresses were on it and came by several times to check on us (almost too much cause it would interrupt conversation). Next time I would try eating outside cause it looks so nice! It is a more upscale place so food is a little more pricey ($16 for 3 small sliders). I ordered the braised short rib sliders with garlic aioli and they were amazing and sooo flavorful!!!

I look forward to going back, I'm glad we had this charming restaurant in the city in which I often visit.

Went for the first time. Decorations were already up for Xmas. It looked nice and cozy. The hostess looked unhappy didn't greet us and it didn't look as if she wanted to be there. The 3 of us sat at the bar ordered some drinks. We Looked at the menu and Ordered the surf and turf scampi. My friend and I shared it. We asked for a med rare steak and got it well done. The balsamic reduction tasted off and it was thicker like gravy, also it really shouldn't be on a steak. It also came with asparagus, mashed potatoes and shrimp in a red sauce with onions and bell peppers. No noodles for the shrimp scampi, the shrimp wasn't seasoned at all. When they brought the noodles they just tasted as if they had no butter or salt. The potatoes were heavy and thick whch isn't a bad thing but I love mashed potatoes that are fluffy and great in taste. The asparagus were good. The beet hummus was pretty tasty. But definitely needed salt and those hot peppers on top should be on the side in case someone can't handle.

Food tasted ok but to me over priced for what I received. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the amount of chicken in the sandwich did not even cover half the sandwich. I will not probably be back which is sad because my husband enjoyed his French dip Server only came once after food served until bill brought Would have enjoy more ice tea.

Excellent food and service. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend the spare rib stroganoff for a dinner entre. Also recommended the deviled eggs, portabella fries, and the mac & cheese for great starters!

The food was pretty good and the service was excellent. Parking was nonexistent since they made their parking lot a COVID dining patio so we had to walk a few blocks to get there.

The server was great, the drinks were great, and the drinks were great. I asked for a Rum and Coke and the bartender had a heavy pour. :-) I will continue to be a patron here.

Service was great. The staff was very polite and respectful. The cocktails we ordered were unique and presented very artfully. The food was not bad, but nothing exceptional. I ordered the herb roasted chicken and it was kind of dry and chewy. The side of roasted potatoes and broccoli though was good.

Been going to The Foothill for years now and through the pandemic and before they've remained consistent and steadily grown. Tonight we were served by Travis and his attention to detail was impressive. The sun was setting in our eyes and before we knew it Travis was adjusting an umbrella outside so it didn't get in our eyes during sunset. Truly a gem. Thank you Foothill and Travis!

First time here, it's amazing, they hit it out of the park! That's why I gave it 5 stars 🌟. Started off with: Drinks • Foothill Old Fashoined • Foothill Fire • Maduro Brown Ale • Victory Golden Monkey • water/ Soda's. Appetizers • Braised Short Rib Sliders • Mac n Cheese • Charcuterie Then: Main Course • Fish and Chips • Steak Salad • Steak Frites • Coffee-braised Short Rib • Soup De Jour-Lobster Bisque Excellent service. Food came out on time. Pleasant staff. Our Daughter was cold so they set her up with a personal propane heater. We sat outside, very spacious, no crowding, inside our out. Didn't push up to the bar but it was stocked. Give it a try and we hope you like it too!
