Good food and the service was nice except that they were in a rush to close down and forced us into a decision in 2 minutes. Prices reasonable too. I would go back.

Best Thai Food I’ve Ever Had! Friendly staff and fast service. Crab Rangoons = fantastic, Roti = delicious, Curry Puffs = Savory, Pad Thai = EPIC. No joke, best Pad Thai in LA. 5 stars all the way, a must visit if you’re in the area.

We wanted to like this restaurant so badly, but unfortunately it fell short. Roti - nice curry sauce, small portion, was fresh but part of the dough was uncooked. Red curry with tofu - curry was thin but good flavor. Tofu pieces were huge, you could still see the indentations on the tofu skin from where it was removed from the packaging. Did not seem like much care was placed into this dish. Two pieces of pepper with a ton of shredded bamboo shoots, no other vegetables at all. Thai ice tea - too sweet Spicy pork with basil - best dish we had. Flavorful, good sauce, decent sized portion. $58 after tip and tax was too much for this meal, especially in a city with so many Thai options. Next!

Very good food. Spice level is significant. I ordered a mild Tom Yum Soup and it was still very spicy. I may need to add some water to it. Red curry beef was very good.

Amazing Thai foods at the corner of Union and Lake at the City of Pasadena. Ordered the Crispy Chicken Skin, Pad Kee Maow, Tom Yum Soap, Spicy Fried Rice, Chim! Thai Street Wings & Mango Sticky Rice. All of them tasted amazing, it is one of the best Thai foods my wife and I have around our area. We don't have to drive all the way to Thai town. The chicken wings and skins are amazing, even though we ordered the wings with the spicy chim rub, my sons are able to eat them. You really can taste the spiciness in all the foods since I ordered them to be extra spicy. My wife and I are amazed with their Mango Sticky Rice, they infused Pandan leaves with coconut cream which makes it green color and smell so good. We will definitely order from Chim! again in the near future.

My favorite food is Thai food and I have been to Thai town in Hollywood and other Thai street food places in Korea town and noho . Here are the disappointing areas in this Chin: 1. Portion is very small to nearby nine Nine, Saladang and other Thai restaurants with almost same price and quality. Especially beef salad . More lettuce in beef salad than meat . 2. Low quality shrimp in the soup which tastes and textures like rubber. 3. Beef soup and Tom yum soup taste has too much sugar which disappeared the authentic Thai soup taste . Authenticity is lost. Pls check these this restaurant Isaan Station Thai in Korea Town , Ruen Pair , and Pad Ord in Hollywood. Both Asian and American eaters are lining up to dine in daily . I’d like to request to upgrade to authentic Thai Street food because your restaurant will be Stand out as the most authentic Thai restaurant in Pasadena. 4. Easter Sausage quantity is very less with that price . Presentation , location and hotpot is good. I am not discriminating on gender but make servers are friendlier than female server . We like to see happier faces. Best

Good food. Finally authentic thai food after a while. I ordered Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao. Loved Pad See EW and Pad Kee Mao was spicy but that might be because I chose medium spice level. Overall a good experience. Will order again.

Thai food and especially here is something you want to experience. Thai food is both delicious (When prepared right like they do here) and healthy. Love the way they cook it, love the spices, and in general love mushrooms. Recommended.

Ordered pick up from Chim and didn't disappoint. My fried rice dish was spicy and that was even before adding the fish sauce with thai bird chilis. The place was buzzing as I walked in to pick up my order with other customers either dining in and picking up food as well. Parking is available in a small lot but I chose to park alongside the street off Union.

This place used to be good.but things have changed. I placed an order for pineapple fried rice with beef. Ask for it to be spicy. When I got my order I ask the server if I can get extra sauce. And he gavee once sauce with is equivalent to 10¢. After I just spent 30$ on food and look at me like as if I was asking for too much. I let that pass by when I got home and tasted the beef. Beef itself tasted like it's been recooked. Extremely disappointed for what it's turning into.

We love this place! It's a simple, small neighborhood Thai restaurant w friendly and attentive staff. I put 4 stars for food because I think their food got really sweet over the years, but if you like strong sweet flavored that food, this is a great place.

Food is good, I've been coming here for a while. They must have a new cook, because lately, the food has been horrible. Totally changed. I just ordered today at 630pm. Inside, outside dining. Small place. Can get busy. Loved the food, prices and portions. Recommend yellow chicken curry. The chairs and benches aren't that comfortable but they go with the decor of the place. Will come again.❤

We ordered the yellow curry with chicken and pad kee mow. We were dining in and many people were coming in and out for takeout orders but they were still attentive to us. The yellow curry was pretty good. I’d recommend this place, they were very quick to get us our food

This is probably my favorite Thai place in the area -- the yellow curry here is legit -- and I've tried most of them. It's consistently good and reasonably priced. This was my first time at the brick and mortar location but I frequently order delivery from here and it's always very, very good. The portions are generous, and the flavors are delicious. The vibe in here was definitely a little cramped, but in a cozy way, nit in an annoying way. There's a hustle and bustle in here that feels warm and inviting, especially while the staff exchanges smiles and laughs with one another. Very friendly and his potable service here, and I'll definitely be dining-in more frequently in the future. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven't already. If you like Thai food, I doubt you'll be disappointed in the quality and consistency you'll get from Chim.

Some of the best around Pasadena. They do have a long wait time to cook the food but it’s worth it. Just adjust. They have a little space to park and eat. So I have usually done take out. I like this place and usually go for veggie rolls, pad see ewe, curry, soups and Thai tea.

So good! The Chim Gai Zaap was the true winner of the three things we ordered. It was delicious, crispy, sour. The only thing that could make it better is if it was served with sticky rice instead of steamed rice. We also loved the som tam and the green curry was good. The three dishes we ordered were the perfect amount for two of us. So glad this place is only a 10min walk from our apartment.

It is one of two Thai restaurants that I have on speed dial to order take-out. Some dishes I recommend Pad Thai Yellow Curry - chicken Red (It's spicy! Great dish when you're working outdoors in the cold!) Curry - Chicken Pad See Ew - chicken Pad Kee Mao (it's spicy!) - chicken Duck noodle soup - if you wanna try something different, that's not beef or pork. Duck is good. Eggrolls (Grade A stuff) Crab Rangoon I think you'll pay about 10-15 dollars per dish. The food is great, it's not heavy, the staff is friendly. Lighting makes it cute for pictures Also, I recommend their Thai Iced Coffee. I'm addicted to it. I can not order takeout without ordering their coffee.

Ordered pick up! The lady on the phone was very friendly and told me it would take 20min. Parking is a little difficult because their parking lot is tiny and it’s a one way street so you have to parallel on the left side. My food was ready and they checked me out right away and she even addressed me by name. Very friendly! I heard a customer come in and one of the workers recognized that the boy was so grown up. So you could tell this really is a family business and they care about their customers. I ordered the pad kee mao with beef and pad thai with chicken. The pad thai noodles were my preference over the pad kee mao. I also got roti with dip and it was delicious and packed in a cute little takeout box. There are other dishes here I want to try here as well. So I’ll be back!
