What a great discovery for coffee, savory and sweet pies and yummy snacks! Great vibe to hangout! It’s like discovering a place before everyone finds it. And after hanging out, I can take pie home to share with my family.

I love me some pie and this place did not disappoint. We shared the key lime pie as a midafternoon snack and paired it with some Intelligentsia coffee from next door which is conveniently just steps away. Lovely citrus flavor. The whip cream paired delightfully with the tartness of the pie and the graham cracker texture was on point. I only wish the slices were bigger for the price. When did pie slices become $8? Oof inflation. Definitely want to come back to try the Earl Grey flavor which I’ve never seen before!

The earl grey tea pie is a must! I don't usually love earl grey tea, but this was a unique dessert. Light and fluffy texture with a pleasant earl grey flavor. Crust and pistachios tied it all together nicely.

Solid place! Tried the pie holes and it’s like a 4/5. Would like to try their actual pies sometime, looks yummy. Great customer service and offered great suggestion for it being my first time.

We’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed the pies! Tonight we had Blueberry Pecan Crumble and Moe’s Pumpkin, both with side of whipped cream. I never had this flavor before, it had more blueberries than pecans & the crust was hard & smooth like candy. The pumpkin had good spice flavors. It is hard to find a parking spot & there are a couple parking structures. I dropped off my wife & she went in and ordered/picked up pie slices while I drove around the block.

This location feels slightly hidden as it's a place within a place. You walk in through a set of doors and are greeted by a bunch of stand alone coffee shops and dessert places. This particular coffee shop had a choice of 2 vegan pies and the barista was educated enough to help my friend pick a vegan friendly chai drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a pretty nice selections of rarer tea flavors and a cozy sit down spot right by the venue. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in downtown Pasadena.

It was such a pleasure being served by the warm and charming Santi, as he was my fave part of the entire experience. The blueberry pie was delicious, love the fruit popping inside my mouth. Will def come back!

Their earl gray pie used to be the best, but somehow it has been down the hill for quite some time. All their pies, meh. I went back three or four times in the past year. Every time I was left with, meh. It's no longer a destination, special trip just for their delicious pies. It's often an option of last resort. Apple pie from the supermarket tastes better than Pie Hole's. What happened?

This is a fun little spot if you are in Pasadena. Great variety and savory and sweet options. Staff is to small to keep up with customers, but they are friendly and work hard. Only reason for a 4 star is the price. It is a bit overpriced, but every once in awhile it’s ok to splurge.

This gourmet pie chain always has tasty slices for any night on the town! They also have coffee drinks and pie infused ice cream if you so wish. I got the Abuelita's Chocolate and it was rich and decadent. Staff was polite and there is paid street parking outside.

$9 for a slice of pie is rather absurd… that being said, it’s pretty good pie. I was recommended the earl gray so I picked that up. I liked the tea flavored filling, pistachio garnish, and salty crust, but the sweetness drowned out a lot of the flavors and I personally thought it tasted better when toned down with a glass of milk. Follow the arrow (left side) when you walk inside the building to get to the back, wanderlust creamery is usually pretty packed up front and you could mistake that line for the line going into the building. There’s pie hole specific seating for customers in the back too (not a lot, and pretty small tables). Overall I think it’s worth a try. And who knows, maybe it’ll be your new favorite dessert.

Came on Pi Day! The Abuelita’s Chocolate pie slice was only $3.14. I bought two! The line was not too long when I came (around 6pm) but it was also raining outside. Sucks I had to pay for parking though which tacked on another $2 but hey it beats the original price still of a slice that is normally $7! I just wish Pasadena would bring back Free 90 minute parking!!!!!! The ganache was really rich and the champurrado spices were too overpowering in my opinion. I would want to try their Apple Crumble pie but don’t want to pay $7 for a slice. Hopefully next deal with feature the Mom’s Apple Crumble.

Just paid $10 for one of the worst slices of pie I’ve ever had. The filling was okay but the crust, the most important part of pie, was awful. Rubbery and tasteless, no flake. Almost needed a band saw to get into it.

Located in a shared retail space, this Pie Hole location is smaller than other locations on their list. With this their selection of baked goodies are also limited, but the shared space also can give you options other than having pie. Pies are not limited to desert items and seasoned patrons know that the savory pie creations here are equally if not better than their sweet counterparts. The staff here are also versed in coffee and espresso pulls thus adding to the value. The Pie Hole is a good addition to Old Town Pasadena and the casual atmosphere is a great alternative.

I'm sorry but the crust of Pie Hole pies are terrible. You literally could not stab it and puncture it with your fork. It's THAT hard. Once you tear a bite off with your teeth it tastes like a sole liner. (Not that I've tried one before but now i won't have to since I've had Pie Hole piecrust. The pie filling itself is more like a cheesecake that has sat outside the fridge for five minutes. The flavors are innovative (i like the Earl Grey flavor) BUT it is way too rich and buttery. It's like eating buttermilk and cream cheese. I guess if you're into that you can give it a try, but i won't be returning.
