I’ve been waiting for a churro place in the Clear Lake area and the wait is over! My husband and I visited Cafe Gripon’s today and loved it. The woman working was super sweet. We ordered churros and hot chocolate. Both were fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Daughter is visiting and asked for a cafe nearby, and Café Gripon's showed up, so we thought we'd try it out🤔🤔🤔 OMG!!!!! 😯 This picture is worth a thousand words!!! Let me just say, it looks so delicious 😋 but tastes when better!!! If you've never been, you should definitely try. You won't regret it❤️

Came to this little Cafe over the weekend and let me tell you they make the drinks and churros fresh. They're both delicious. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area. And will recommend too.

Went for coffee and ended up ordering a Taro milk tea and some mini churros. The Taro milk tea was perfect and not super sweet the way most other shops make it. The mini churros were made to perfection, fresh, and delicious. Definitely a cool, hole in the wall, coffee shop to check out!

Had a great time on our first visit to Cafe Gripon's today, which isn't serving a full menu quite yet, but what they are serving is fantastic! The shop had cute decor, the staff were friendly, and we had some absolutely delicious food there! We got the 4 drizzled churros with Nutella and requested to add strawberry's. They were freshly fried, not super oily, honestly just an awesome balance of crispy and warm but surprisingly didn't feel as heavy as I expected. We also ordered one of their juice drinks, we got the cucumber, kiwi lemonade, and it was absolutely delightful. I still don't fully understand what is in it but I was looking for a lightly flavored drink to feel hydrated since normally I just drink water and it really hit the spot. We will definitely be coming back again in the future, they have a back patio we didn't use today because of the mosquitos but it seemed like an awesome spot to hang out with some delicious food!

Wanted to try something new so I saw this place and came in. The lady who runs the place was very nice. I got an iced coffee and a crepe with Nutella and strawberries. The crepe was delicious. But the coffee was bad! I took maybe 3 sips and I couldn’t drink anymore. Overall it’s an OK place. I think she should work on the atmosphere, having a more inviting place. Just seems so blah. Nothing incredibly different or special about it. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Amazing place! Very tasty churros and ice cream! Carmel late was amazing and very tasty too!

The churros are hot, crispy, and made fresh. Also, the strawberry and nutella crepe were delicious.

Ordered a mini plate of churros for my husbands birthday and everyone LOVED them! These are the best churros and the best snacks for a party! The cinnamon flavor is incredible, we were very impressed! Will be ordering again for sure!

So good!! The place itself is cute & cozy. The lady working was friendly & quick. The food was so yummy! I am so happy I found this place. Definitely recommend & will definitely be a returning customer.

they have very good food!! the employees are very kind and there’s a very nice ambiance to the cafe. the playlist is great, i love going to the cafe. they also have entertaining games to play while you wait, very good service!

Love this place. I got a latte, and it was delicious. I also decided to get churros for my family, and I ate two before I got home. They were perfect. The store was very inviting and if I did not have to get back for the kids I would have sat and read for a while. The lady at the front was very nice and pleasant. What a little find this place is. I will for sure be going back there.

Ordered the Americano, a Latte with Caramel drizzle and a Churro-Nana Split. Everything was delicious, Janet served us and was the best. Highly recommended for a romantic date night or just ger away for something sweet or delicious 😋

Desert was okay. Nothing to brag-home about. The guy who hosted us was very stoic and blah. Refused to exchange pleasantries, every time we said thank you right to his face he would refuse to respond. Not sure what that was about. Normally in little spots like this, customer service is normally top tier. It took him like 3 mins to even come from the back to greet us after we walked in. We were the only customers in there.
