I’m really surprised this place has such a high rating. The food wasn’t that good…at all. There should be a little bit of heat in the food we ordered but nope. Really catered to the non foodies out there who wants Thai food but not really sure what it is. If this is your first experience with Thai food, I can assure you that you started at the bottom. Explore some more.

Super delicious food & authentic atmosphere. Food is so fresh, place is always crowded- you cand have a site near a stranger and people always stay in line outside - service was fast and stuff members super friendly. The menu has photos for every dish making it easy to decide. Everything we ordered was over the top- big portions. Highly recommend, will definitely return tot trying more.

The food was amazing! There is usually a line to eat here (wait a max of 20min) but well worth it. We ordered the pork fried rice and spring rolls and they were delicious! We loved it so much that we came back to get it one more time before our flight back home. If you are in patong stop by here for some great food!

It's an overrated tourist trap. We went at 10PM on a Friday night and there was still a long queue ahead of us. The stir fried noodles and green curry we ordered were palatable but we've definitely had far better Thai food even in the malls of Malaysia. The pork neck was slightly better. You'll be squeezed into the same table as other diners to maximise space so don't expect to be comfortable. Service was otherwise very quick and efficient.

It's OK. The chicken satay has the wrong sauce. The small eggplants in the green curry were undercooked and hard as rocks. I don't know why foreigners lineup to eat here when there are literally hundreds of better places. Way overrated. Won't be eating here again, especially there are so many places here

Very appetising meal along Patong. Seating is limited and there’s always a crowd, especially (or rather, only) with tourists! Close to Bangla Street. Good Thai food never disappoints, always a super tasty meal! Total damage was 1k Baht, very well priced!

This is a very popular restaurant in the center of Patong and it is always very busy and in the evenings you usually have to queue up to be able to get a seat. The restaurant offers BBQ bench style tables and chairs which you share with other customers you will not get your own table. The food here is good fresh and tasty and reasonably priced so it's good value for money. It's extremely popular at night with often lengthy waiting time so either go in the afternoon or at the start of the evening if you don't want to wait

Always loved fried pork with garlic but this is by far the best that I have tasted in whole of Thailand !! No kidding The prices here are alittle higher than what you would normally pay in Bangkok though. Nonetheless still very worth every penny!! Yums!! 😆

In my opinion the Number 6 restaurant is the most common one in Patong Beach. They have a second Branch, which is up the hill as well. Unfortunately this is actual in 03/2022 closed. The food is very delicious and you have a huge variety. The prices are normal but you will get a big portion. In this case the price/quality ratio is perfect. We like the restaurant very much and visit it every time, when we are in Patong. Normally you have to wait some minutes to get a seat, because sometimes it is very crowded. But it is more coming in, eat and leave and we appreciate this.

The food here is incredible with so much flavours. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. It doesn't matter what you order everything is great. The Pad Thai and sticky Rice with mango is some of my favourites. The food is really cheap. The service is fast and efficient. Be prepared as there is always is a line here so you might need to wait awhile during peak periods.Definitely worth the wait. One of Patong's gems.

This restaurant has 2 venues. 1 at this address while the other is at hilltop. You can go to the hilltop venue via free shuttle service from this address (dinner only). Food is good n price is relatively acceptable since this is Patong.

Great value and quality of food. Basically the only restaurant on the strip that has a line up. The queue can be a little discouraging especially with a large party, but our party of 9 was seated with around 20 minutes wait. For me the winner is crab curry. Cooked perfectly and very fresh. Their seafood salad is also very good. It’s got fish, crab, squid and shrimp in it. Much better than the usual squid and shrimp only. The fried fish is also a must order.

Just awesome. Nothing more. In a perfect raining weather, at a perfect walking distance from the bustling Bangla street, it's a hidden gem on the main road. Very friendly staff and what a state of food. The best one in my entire trip this time. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian, you can tell the staff about your requirements and they will happily customize the meal for you. I will definitely visit again couple of more times before I leave this town. Also the wifi is too good that you can actually sit here and work. This one is added to my most favorite food places list

I was lucky again to be shouted out to this little gem of a restaurant. Free bus ride to and from suppled, catch it at the No 6 restuarant in 200 Pee Road, across from C & N Hotel.it is a hill side restuarant has great views over Patong, food is delicious and priced low, good service.. only draw back is that it closes at 22.00

We had to pass through Bangla Road to get to this little gem of a place, but it was worth the effort (plus BR is something to experience even if you’re not looking to spend any time or money there). No. 6 gives huge value for money in terms of quality, taste and variety. Locals and tourists were there, which was a good sign. Everything we tried was great with the exception of the BBQ pork. We loved the pad thai, any variety of fried rice, BBQ pork belly, stir fried chicken with cashews, shrimp cakes 👌🏾 Also the Thai Iced Tea is great. We never spent more than 600 baht for 2 people, which is pretty affordable for the quality. We ate here 4 times during our 7-day stay, so that should tell you something.

Amazing food. You get so much food, it's hard to finish it all. The prices are great as well. I see why there is always a crowd here. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you are in Patong Beach. The spicy cashew chicken is the best i ever tasted.

The first time we walked past this place we saw a huge waiting queue. The next time we decided to try it for ourselves and I must say this place is worth the wait. Being a vegetarian the first thing i checked was their vegetarian Thai options, though limited but they do serve the main Thai dishes in vegetarian version. I tried fried yellow noodles the first day and I loved it so much that I came back the next day to try out more. The next day I had pad thai and it was equally yummy. Along with tasty Thai food it is also very affordable compared to other restaurants in the same street. The non-vegetarian options are obviously a lot more. Though the place is small the service is very quick. Overall I would say this place is a must visit in Patong.

Food was very good and the portions were quite big. There was no line because we went in the morning at 9:00am for breakfast, if you go at night for dinner there will be a long line. The prices are very good, lower than every other place I've been to in Phuket. It's got most traditional Thai food, not much from other cuisines. The coffee was as good as anywhere else except not as expensive. If your looking for a solid meal for a solid price it's the place to check out in Patong

Excuse the poor images as we couldn't help ourselves from the time the plates touched the table, tried most of the items from the menu highly recommend the pork belly, pork neck and pineapple rice. Tom yum soup was clear thin and bursting with flavour just how I love it. The thai green chicken was a bit of a let down but it could have been due the fact that I was food fatigued by the time I got to it. If you're at patong beach, don't miss this place. You won't regret it.

Reasonable price with good foods. Especially Tomyam, BBQ chicken wings & pork neck, and fried prawn are super nice. For dessert, mango sticky rice is also one of the best I've ever tried in Thailand. However expect to queue in peak hours and might share table with others and eyes looking at you and waiting for you to leave ASAP.

Went twice. Food was absolutely amazing for its price. Tom Kha and Tom Yum were both excellent dishes. Pineapple fried rice was extremely generous with the ingredients and the pineapple taste wasn’t artificial or overly sweet. The specialty chicken wings are a must order too! Queue is always long but worth the wait.

Good quality Thai foods with big portion and reasonable price! Do be prepared to queue for a while. Went there twice for both lunch and dinner – there was a long queue both times. The waiter asked us if we wanted to go to another location up the hill with a free shuttle bus from the restaurant – to consider especially if your party is a big group. We ordered most of usual Thai foods: No. 6 specialty wings (must order!), pineapple fried rice, pad thai, tom yum soup, lemongrass steamed fish, fried fish with gravy, stir-fry basil pork, crab noodles, green curry, papaya salad, crab omelette, stir-fry morning glory, fried fish cake with mango sticky rice and fresh whole coconut.

Sorry not sorry. The food here tastes nothing like real Thai food. Flat and also very salty. "Normal spicy" is actually not spicy at all for this Asian dude. Comparing the food here to those you can just buy from street stalls, the main advantage this place has is.. seats. If you're here for authentic Thai food, you're at the wrong place. If however you want Thai food that's catered to the non-spice tourist crowd, maybe this will tickle your taste buds. I've had better Thai food in Norway. I disagree that food here is cheap. At least not compared to the street hawkers. I paid 410bht for 3 dishes - seafood salad, basil chicken rice, and stir fried Kang Kong - which would be about double the price of street hawkers (without seats).

One thing we quickly noticed, our hotel being only a block from Bangla Road in Patong, is that the food tends to be expensive in the area, even for Thai food we’ve seen elsewhere for far less. That’s why we were happy to have quickly found the No. 6 Restaurant across from our hotel. The Thai food is excellent, they have a nice variety of healthy dishes and, best of all, No 6 is wallet-friendly. There is a good reason we noticed this place was busy. It’s usually a good sign. I had BBQ chicken (tenders), a dish of broccoli stir-fried in oyster sauce, and my wife had coconut milk soup with chicken (Tom Kha Kai). She said it was mild, so added some pepper sauce from the pot on the table. We will definitely come back here!

The food was amazing!!! One of the best restaurants in Phuket. The service was quick & the quantity was good enough for two people. We ordered pad thai with shrimp & tom yum soup with sea food. It can be spotted easily from the road.

Highly recommended padthai and mango rice. First time eating a mango rice that's hot. All are affordable price too. Must try the squid salad. Coconut. Pork n tomyam is meh can skip. Great location. Crowded. Might need to queue n share table. Very hot.

Was really excited to try No6 again. The first visit the food was not what we were expecting. No spice, and very little flavour. Yet, we thought we'd give it the benefit of the doubt and go again. We waited to be sat as it was super busy, no problem. Then sat down. While waiting on my partner coming back from the toilet, I tried to flag the waitress to ask for the wifi password (we use Revolut, so needed to check if we needed to exchange currency), she acknowledged me, then noticed a table that needed cleaning for a new customer, so told me to wait 2 minutes. She came back and punched in the password. Before she walked off, I wanted to ask a question however she told me to wait, and walked over to another person to take their order. This was said in an extremely rude tone and with an attitude. I only wanted to know whether they took card. My partner came out of the toilet and I told her about the service and we decided to leave. Outside the restaurant, we were trying to decide where else we could go. The waitress saw us and asked why we left. We explained the situation, and instead of apologizing, she said "Ah, you just wanted the WiFi password." Again, with a really bad attitude, and we were very surprised at this. So glad that we left, and popped across the road for better service, food - and password free wifi 😉.

One of the best restaurants in Patong Phuket. Best dishes that doesn't break the wallet. Affordable yet good. Good luck trying to get table. Went thrice. Two times we had to wait outside for table. It's quite small shop.

This morning we didnt know what to do, so we decided to try this "always long queued restaurant", exactly besides Dang Restaurant which i have tried previously. We arrived around 11.11 AM and found out there was no queue but the place was almost fully occupied. There were 2 tables left. So we got a spot directly. We tried around 4 dishes: No.6 Wings 👍 the taste of the wings is remarkable, the sauce is just right for the wings in my opinion. Stir fried shrimp with salt and chilli 👍 it was OK, nice to taste this dish. Steamed rice topped with stir fried holy basil with meat 👍 it was OK, i like this more than the competitor. Steamed glass noodle crab, Not our favourite. But the special chili sauce (the green transparent one) was really nice and great, we really love it so much. We ate everything with this sauce! Iced Thai tea, i like the competitor more than this one. So far, the foods are great and i love to finish all the dishes! However if there was long queue, i would not join in line. 😌

We went for breakfast as there isn’t a lot of shops or even street food available in the early mornings. No wait. Food was okay. I ordered the egg omelette with crab. DON’T. Was super excited to try seafood. Was super disappointed. The egg was deep fried so just loaded with oil not flavour and my first bite I had to spit out, it was crunchy and I wasn’t sure if it was crab shell. Turns out it wasn’t, however they do not remove the cartilage and finely chopped all the crab mixed with egg so impossible to see. Every bit I had to pick out these tiny pieces of cartilage. Not enjoyable to eat. If you enjoy deep fried egg and willing to chomp on crab cartilage then you might like, but never again. Fried egg was fully cooked and was expecting runny for the other meal. This meal was at least tasty. Best part of the meal was the juices. Lime and pineapple. Must buy 500 baht to pay via card. We wanted to buy over 500 but after the crab egg I wasn’t in the mood to order anything else.

Great shrimp cake! Tom yum soup was nice. The pork neck is nice when hot. Pineapple fried rice they added a lot of msg which was slightly disappointing. Overall good taste without much impact on your wallet! Long queue though. Closes at midnight. Not 24 hours!

A nice lil hole in wall place. The food is hot and fresh. Lots of options to chose from. Quite inexpensive. They are typically very busy but tables move fairly quickly. It's open air style, so on a hot day it might be warm the further you sit inside.

We actually loved the food and the service. It’s always crowded, that’s how you know the food is great - actually some of the best we had in Patong. Prices are also more than decent. We ate there more times and would definitely go back anytime. Totally recommend!!

Food is ok. Basil pork is too salty, Tom yum is also so so only. Didn’t like the fish cake as well. Papaya salad is good, just that the shrimps are a bit undercooked. Vermicelli is good

Amazing! I am so bummed I didn’t try this spot the first day I arrived in Phuket bc I would have eaten it everyday. We went around 9 pm and had to wait for ~20 min but trust me it is worth the wait. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. We ordered the fried rice (best we’ve had in Thailand) and garlic pepper chicken (wow!!) plus the spring rolls. Love this place and can’t wait to come back.

We walked passed number 6 on our first day and the queue was in the street. I always question, how good does the food have to be for me to queue. But we came back the next day, the vibe is very local and it was packed but we got squeezed in. Then my answer to my previous question was answered, when the good was this good, the queue was more than worth it. Number 6 started as a roadside eatery and now has brought that authentic feel to the town. The food was full of flavour and spice and the staff were charming. This will be our regularly feeding trough while here. Highly recommend.

Is quite 'unusual' to see queues for a Thai restaurant, and when pretty much the entire street are full of Thai restaurants. Hence, a must try to see what's the hype about, and I usually will not bother but since in Phuket and on holiday, and there were still no queues when I was there, around 5.30pm. I have to say that the food quality, presentation, portion and pricing are very value for money. I especially love the Tom Yum clear soup with prawns (there are options to choose from meat, squids and seafood etc). Despite in Thailand, I still don't find many/other places that does this soup well, but here, very good. The right amount of Thai herbs, spicy, and tanginess were just perfect, while most places will have either a lot of either tastes, but this is really the best I have eaten. It was so good and I came back for the second time for takeaway just for the soup before I leave. Also ordered the stir-fried morning glory, which nothing can go wrong too, and also tried their recommended No.6 Wings which was a Tom Yum infused fried chicken. It was good but though I gladly try other dishes the next time. They opened as early as 7am and besides breakfasts, their menu should be available the entire day, so best to visit outside of the usual busy lunch/dinner timings.

I ate the stir fried mixed vegetables and the vegetable noodle soup with a banana and mango shake. The food was insanely delicious and the place was cued out of the door. Possibly the best noodle soup and vegetables I have eaten anywhere in the world.

Hate to say it, but follow the long lines! The only restaurant we were able to eat at in the area. Everywhere else felt catered to tourists palate, but the hood here tasted much more authentic. Good variety too.

(Translated by Google) Until the beginning of 2010, it was a very cost-effective and delicious restaurant. When I visited in 19 years, there was a lot of difference in food due to the unkindness of the employees. (Original) 2010년초반까지도 참 가성비 좋고 맛좋은 음식점이였는데요.. 19년 방문해보니 종업원 불친절에 음식 간도 차이가 많고.. 아쉽네요.

We curious why was the long queue. Food served was above average as compared with the surrounding thai food. However, there are better food if you travel further to the phuket town. Prices are at the high side but most tourists do not mind to pay for. In general. They served authentic thai food and this is one of the best options if you are residing in patong due to its location. However, i will not queue for the food.

Fantastic local Thai food just walking distance from bangla street. Food is not to spicy nor too sour. Prices are reasonable. Bare in mind the restaurant is always packed so prepare to wait.
