STILL CLOSED 15 NOV 22 ‼️ Looks like it was once a nice mall, totally run down now. There seem to be some people on site working, but not much happening. The attached Big C store is open and there are a couple of shops/stalls open in the back towards the mall. Don't see this place opening again this year.

Jungceylon, once the name of affluent Phuket Island, now hosts the largest and most stylish shopping center in southern Thailand. Spanning 200,000 square meters in Patong, it bustles with tourists and locals alike. The ambience is inviting, exuding coziness and a sense of security. Within its expansive confines, a myriad of restaurants, shops, cafes, and banks cater to diverse needs. Jungceylon stands as a vibrant hub at the heart of tourism and business, seamlessly blending modern commerce with the historical richness of its namesake. A must-visit for a multifaceted shopping and dining experience.

Immensely popular with locals and tourists. Sheer quantity of stalls over 3 zones / buildings selling similar products but different designs of apparel for men, women and children is staggering. A wholesale location where you can get a good buy if you can buy a few more pieces. Hardly can find any repeats walking from stall to stall... The trick is to consolidate purchase quantity with family or friends to get a good bargain price

I think jungceylon is Phuket's most famous shopping mall because it is located in the crowded tourist area of Patong. This shopping center is located in front of bangla Road, Walking Street. There is a large parking lot for motorcycles and cars. On the lower floor of this market is the famous Big C supermarket. It is full of souvenir shops and has a relatively good price. There are also a number of cosmetics shops here that always have good discounts. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants to relax while shopping! (Photos and videos were taken in different years and on different trips)

This place is closed but didn’t update their website or Google maps. All the entrances have barricades and the place is completely deserted (except for the confused tourists milling about).

It is 90% fully reopen after COVID-19. I have been here a year ago when there's barely anything here. Now in December, a lot of restaurant and shops. They also renovate, making it more beautiful. So many restaurants here.

I had the pleasure of visiting this mall, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. As soon as I stepped into this sprawling complex, I was struck by the sheer variety of shopping options, from unique local Thai stores to well-known international brands. The lively atmosphere of the place perfectly encapsulated the vibrant spirit of Patong. I was particularly impressed by the dining options available; the food court had an amazing selection of both local and international cuisines, offering a taste of Thailand that was both authentic and diverse. Although I didn’t get a chance to explore all the entertainment options like the cinema and gaming areas, they looked incredibly inviting, especially for families or groups seeking fun after a day of shopping. Jungceylon is definitely a must-visit for anyone visiting Pa Tong beach.

Its may 2022 and jungjeylon is closed they say temp but its been closed since 2020 only the supermarket downstairs is open everything else appears closed and moved out there were some great eating places there pre covid so its a shame they are no longer there now. Locals say that it is re-opening in Nov with a big upgrade not sure if that is possible as there is no work happening on the site that is visible the patong area is certainly different to pre covid but life is starting to return

This is one of the popular mall in Phuket. It is located in Patong. The mall is huge and spacious with lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy your time. Also, there are some fun activities in the mall. Also, they have a fountain show in the mall which is very popular. We had delicious pizzas at the newly opened Pizza Hut in the mall. Amazing time at jungceylon mall.

Good cross section of shipping and food. Even Irish pub which serves great pub food. The taxi dropped us at big c end and the impression is get back in the car. But don't be fooled. From what I can see the area is very busy too so probably an escape from the tourist joints in the area and likely much better value for money in t h e mall.

(Translated by Google) A large shopping center in the center of Patong, a lot of shops and cafes, a big food cord, people, however, also a lot, no crowds. There are no signs to get confused. As for the discount, you need to seize the moment, there are, in principle, very good discounts, but not the second floor, in the brand departments, there the prices bite, but the choice is huge. Huge huge shopping mall with 3 separate wings, all kinds of shops jumbled up all over the place, lots of outdoor eating spaces, spa, massage and beauty services. Shopping options from low end to high end all available too. What's nice is the options for kids, playground of all sorts for parents to let their kids enjoy while you shop, amusement world too. Entertainment options is nice too, big cinema, bowling alley, trampoline park and 4D roller coaster too. Pretty sweet place. Took awhile to find certain shops but after while you get it. Booths that sell nice high end properties too if you wanna settle down. Be prepared to see lots of tourist because I'm th inking this is the main shopping mall or only one in whole of patong. Can spend whole day here to pamper yourself and your family.

Don't get excited Jungceylon is currently closed. We were looking forward to coming back to this great Shopping Centre and food market, unfortunately it is under construction. Only banks and a few shops like Starbucks and Mac D are open on the outside of the centre. Hopefully it opens after a facelift but not sure when that is going to be.

Big shopping mall in the heart of Patong. Many well-known retail outlets here, Big C and Boots are here too. Cool and nice to walk in the air-cond mall. Lots of eateries but more premium dining. Lower ground floor is selling souvenirs and massage. More for tourists.

Loaded with discounts and reasonable prices similar to what you get on roadside stalls without the bargain effort.. Lots of places to eat.. Centre area has a musical fountain show and seating area with some coffee and ice cream stores.. Do visit when in Phuket..

It's a mall. Some top tips: the top floor of the structure further from the beach has both AIS and DTAC stores for your cellphone needs. The ground floor of the same structure is connected to a Super Big C supermarket which sells everything under the sun. Balms, cosmetics, food and other "tourist favorites" are well priced. Souvenirs and trinkets not as well priced. The basement of the structure closer to the beach has a ton of souvenirs at great prices. There are several "everything for 100 baht" stores, as well as various others. There is also a food court where you can get your street food fix for cheap, and in the luxury of an air conditioned building.

This shopping area is a great place for a few hours of just roaming around if you have had too much sun. Large supermarket to wonder about some quality stores around. Second floor is mostly the Robinson store. Near the exit is the Starbucks. If you walk out towards another area of shopping that area is not yet fully developed. Most people go there for food. If you are having food you need to get a card load money on it. You are able to get your refund if you don't spend all the money on the card. Nearby, is the Central shopping area and famous night road.

Loved this place. Multiple options to eat at Tops, located on the ground floor. Do try the mango sticky rice and Shinga beer. The parking arrangements are a contrived rip off. They want you to pay to go to their Mall, and have lots of ways to ensure you pay. You not only have to find a Single Desk to have your receipt recorded , you then have to traipse the carpark to do it a 2nd time with a distant security guard. And you are charged even after jumping thru these ridiculous hoops if you stayed "too long" !! Do not go to this Mall. The Management are scammers..I feel sorry for the shop owners there.

Fruit and vegetables prices are quite high IMHO. I've traveled throughout Southeast Asia and these are some of the highest fruit prices I've seen in a supermarket. The pork prices were very cheap. If you love pork then you should stock the freezer. 😉 This supermarket

The shopping center contains many stores from ordinary household items to washers and dryers. There is also a "Big C" grocery store, McDonald's, coffee shops etc etc.

Its one of the extravagant shopping mall in Phuket's patong area. The mall is so well illuminated and its full of visitors, its very neatly maintained and tidy. Its always bustling with activities. The Patong area beaches are nearby to the mall, its in a walkable distance. Many restaurants are avaialble in the nearby area and its perennially busy due to its prime location. Many cabs are located here which makes the transport easy for nearby areas like Karon and so on.

It's been closed for renovations. Thankfully the BigC supermarket is still open. No parking underneath at the moment. Parking is across the road with a boom gate. As you leave the back entrance you are required to show your shopping receipt for a free parking voucher.

Really sad to see this place run down after covid hit and tourism stopped. It’s currently under renovations and will be great to see this shopping mall thriving again. They have a moved everything across the road to Central but not really that exciting to shop in. I compare it to a small version of Myer.

Roughly 70% of the mall is closed or under renovation. Not all levels of the mall are accessible. The bottom floor did have a sign stating there was some restaurants open. It was clean and did look like it would be really nice once the work was completed

They're still working on about half the mall, but the Big C supermarket, a lot of clothes shops, and at least 5-6 restaurants (shoutout to my current faves, Shabushi) are still open. They're progressing pretty quickly, and I'm excited to see Jungceylon when the remodel is finished. I don't know how they do it, but this is the only construction site I've been to that smells nice.

Great getaway from the phuket warm weather. A great cool air conditioned mall which is bigger than expected. Has everything, mostly clothe shops but also cafeterias. Worth to step by if you want to relax and buy real branded clothes, accessories, jewels or other things.

Beautiful place to visit. Different shops inside which include big C and mc Donald's thay we visited. I belive this used to be much nicer before covid but now only one floor is open. Not sure if bigC is part of this but it is beautiful inside with so much selection of food and good section of home stuff second floor. I just couldn't understand why security checks bags with receipts after each shopper leaves the place. You not gona steal fish 😒 Nice Aircon in summer. Every shop is decent prices. Markers are all friendly staff and good offers. Nice place to walk around especially with kids. Very kids friendly. We visited here often for shopping and found it very nice place in patong, was easy to get to and Different entrance and exits which helped us getting to our hotel faster. Definitely recommend

This is the largest shopping mall in Patong. It is really very big with 4 sections. However, almost all the shops are international brands. On a super hot day or rainy day, this is perhaps the best place to visit to shy away from the heat or rain. Part of the mall is currently under renovation (Jul 2023), and one of the section is almost entirely closed.

Interestingly designed shopping centre - has 2 ‘mall’ on each side, connected by an open air section that has multiple food stalls and a spa. It seems to have all the expected shops, and had ample food choices (including America fast food chains), but it is very small compared the massive malls you will find in Bangkok. In terms of a general mall rating - I would give them a 3, but it’s probably the largest mall you will find in Phuket.

The jungceylon has two parts. The "jungle" side is supposed to be ready Q4, 2023. It still has shops on the 1, B, and a few on 2nd floor. The main jungceylon mall where Robinsons and the supermarket is, is still pretty lively. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The kids played in kidzoona while the olders were able to walk and shop

A big mall on the Patong Street, Phuket. Many brands are available with great discounts and offers. Plenty of food options too. From eyewear, clothes, bags, electronics & amusement park, all is there.

That's one of the biggest malls I've seen, loved the vibes there. Loved the way it was maintained, decor is nice too. Didn't bought anything much as surrounding the mall you can have street markets and lot of street shops from where you can purchase lot of things.

Jungceylon is a great shopping mall that has several food options and a variety of shops to choose from. As a tourist, there are plenty of activities to do and there are many different sections of the mall that provide options such as bungee jumping or even going to the arcade. The only caveat is that this place is obviously geared toward tourists and as a result prices are usually a bit more expensive compared to street market and other places. Also, while there are many options for food it can sometimes but quite hard to find what you need as some of the shops are closed or being renovated. Other than that, it is a great place to walk and hang out!

There parking system is ridiculous! They have placed parking entrance gates on back street to access the parking facilities (as of this date underground parking was closed). All vehicles (motorcycle and cars) are charged for parking. 30 min or less free then 20 baht per hour or thereof. What's nuts is that you must pay for your parking before you leave the mall. No signage anywhere advising you of this. You get to the gate and expect to pay and SURPRISE!! Cannot! Just another reason why I avoid Patong.

Jungceylon Shopping Centre is the major mall in downtown Patong and one of the biggest in Phuket. You can find the complex diagonally opposite Bangla Road. Jung Ceylon in Patong is a huge mega mall for shopaholic’s, a metropolis of shops hungry to serve the tourists of Phuket and welcoming one and all; Jung Ceylon derived its name from the old Malay name for Phuket. The 200-plus other stores in this Patong shopping haven present brand-name clothing items, sunglasses, cosmetics and perfumes, shoes, DVDs, computer games, tons of mobile phones and accessories as well as electrical goods. Even so, it’s also a great entertainment hotspot with the SF Cinema City and the SF Strike 16-lane bowling alley, perfect for rainy days or to escape the heat of Patong Beach. Timings Daily from 11 am to 10 pm

Not much there, limited options for shopping, there's some activities for kids. If you're driving for parking you get 2 hours free, and an additional 1 hour per receipts with a value of 500THB. I got confused at the info desk, when I enquired how to make payments for parking, I was told to pay at the security gate when it wasn't the case. I ended up driving back and walked back towards the Big C entrance, where there's a security personnel behind a desk who will redeem your receipts or receive parking payment.

Nice if you want something more modern or if you like expensive items or like me, you want the kids to have a bit of fun for a bit. Up on level 3 they have a bunch of kids stuff that's pretty cool.
