Great experience in the heart of patong in Bangla street. Seafood like you never seen before. Everything you can think of. Got multiple dishes clams, snails, jumbo shrimp, pineapple fried rice and a bunch of sushi. Was good but some dishes where not up to par. Have to go back and try lobster and crabs. Service is great as they are looking for customers after they been closed for a while due to Covid. The thing that I didn’t like was that all vendors jumped on us as we walked through the market trying to get you dine with them which felt super uncomfortable as I wanted to check all vendors first. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

Food was awful. We ordered from different places and all were terrible. Pad Thai tastes no where near what it should be. It was salty and very wet. Papaya salad was bland. Sticky rice was overcooked (was soggy). Grilled chicken was tough. Definitely not the place to get actual Thai food - just a tourist spot where everything is made bland to account for international tastebuds.

Do yourself a favour by not missing this place, you will thank yourself later. The shopping is amazing, yes you will need to bargain but you will love doing that. The choices of culinary items will leave you astonished. Everyone is so welcoming, the scars don’t happen with street food but yes if you are in the bar be careful. If you are thinking of taking strolls or just chilling this is your place. You’ll get 1st copies for everything but you will absolutely absolutely enjoy it. Visit it after 8pm and you will totally fall in love with the vibe. Just take a chang and chill 😉

This was an experience! There's so much fresh seafood and other meats! You can kind of just walk around until you find prices that you like, or if some place tickles your fancy! We got some dumplings from one stand, some skewers from another, and a scorpion from a vendor walking around. The food was fantastic and tasted very fresh! Except, I can't say much about the scorpion. I only ate the legs. There's something about eating bugs that I can't swallow, but at least I gave it a shot. Definitely a must if you're in the area!

This is basically a tourist trap with prices that will make your later generations' wallets cry. The stalls will provide a menu with what recipes are available and you get to choose which seafood you want from what's available. Make sure to ask for what prices are so you know what you are getting into. All items in the menu are marked as "market price." If you're ok with that, it's kind of fun to try out some freakishly huge lobsters and prawns. Their recipes are actually pretty good. This bazaar is worth a walk through to see the different types of fresh seafood.

Amazing place to visit but not sure if best place to eat. Lots of food options but also lots of people marketing their food by pushing the menu to your face… not the best tactic to be honest. We ended up choosing based on what we saw another customer was eating. Food was delicious but clearly the oil for our deep fried food was old and hence we suffered afterwards. Perhaps recommendation is to not to eat deep fried food there. Our deep fried sea bass was amazing (with caveat of the old oil mentioned earlier)

Absolutely hated this dinner experience. We got to choose our dishes but the prices in each dish varied, it really depended on if the guy serving you felt like giving you a reasonable price. The food was only mediocre. Honestly, if you are cooking any seafood dishes with super fresh produce then it doesn't matter how you cook it, it should be amazing. But this was not the case, the seasonings they used didn't quite work, one dish was too salty and strangely slightly bitter at the same time. I would avoid going to dine at this night market unless you're prepared to haggle.

Lots to choose from, really lots! However, the offer is repeated over and over again. The food is very much designed according to the tourist. Not to be compared to a food market like in Bangkok! Three things you don't like here: 1. Very pushy recruiting attempts, that you eat in their section. Competition is fierce... 2. Unfortunately there was a cockroach in my Pad Thai! That's not possible! Something like this can happen, but my picture of this market was immediately negative. I still had to pay for the Pad Thai! My advice: just eat something from the grill. You can't see what it looks like in the kitchen! If the cook/chef looks dirty and unkempt, leave it and go on to another stand! 3. nothing special to eat. Everything just standard! BBQ in every kind, Grill/Fried, Squid, Prawns, Muscles etc. My second visit to the market was much better now. See photo 9, Seafood Thai was really great! Prices and portions absolutely okay! You can go here from time to time... More like 3-stars are however not in it!

Enjoyed a dinner here last week. Very happening area with many stores. Our food was quite good, at decent prices. Recommend to visit. Just one thing I didn’t like was the heavy food smell in the area as they are also cooking/grilling food there, so you will leave smelling of food too!

Ate here as often as I could. The food was amazing at some stalls and not that great at some. The only problem I had with eating here is being overwhelmed by the vendors who kept pushing for me to eat at their place(I get that everyone's just working, but can a girl just walk around before committing to one place purely out of pressure?) I enjoyed the food from the last stall at the bottom right of the aisle(Masterchef)...those guys can REALLY cook. Everything was extremely fresh and packed with flavour. Affordable prices all around and decent portions. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety at this market. Definitely going back on my next visit.

You pay more for the food in this general area because of the experience, but it's fun and the stop we chose (Master Chef) had good chefs and a friendly staff.

We had THE BEST time here. Come ready to have a few drinks, dance, eat, and laugh! Who's down for the ping-pong show?? Maybe next time. I came with a group of friends that shopped while I ate! I can't wait to go back.

Really love the variety of Sea food options you get there. In addition to the usual sea food, you can also eat some fancy meats like crocodile, octopus, scorpio and some weird insects. I always try the grilled/fried whole fish there, which you can get customised as per your palate. You can also get the beer ordered to your seat

Patong Bangla Walking Street is an electrifying and lively spot in Patong Beach, Thailand. It's like a neon-lit carnival that comes to life at night! The street is packed with bars, clubs, and street vendors offering tasty snacks. The music pumps, and the atmosphere is buzzing with energy. It's a great place to have fun with friends, dance, and enjoy a drink or two. Just be prepared for the crowds and the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a wild night out in Patong, this is the place to be! The street can get pretty raucous, with some bars and clubs featuring explicit adult entertainment. The atmosphere might not be suitable for children, and it's important for parents to be cautious when considering a visit with their kids.

Vast variety of food and drinks ranging from fried dishes to cold sweet desserts. It can be crowded at peek hours and lack of table and chairs so do come early to get a spot. A great place to hangout with family and friends while chowing down with local bits. Bins are replaced frequently so not to worry about cleanliness so do your part too in keeping the table clean once your done.

Very lively market and offers great many options for food, liquor and party. People approach you to go to their restaurants/bars but they are not pushy which I liked. It is buzzing with people and loud music in the night and is a must visit place if you are in Phuket or Patong area. Would recommend to try their fruit shakes and iced latte which is absolutely amazing. It is also famous for its street food which offers multiple options for sea food. I tried crocodile BBQ and I loved it.

OK how to describe here. Well it's crazy, basically a sex show from one end to the other. Busy trying to coax you in to drink in their bars, with cheap drinks n specials. Then it's extra for live sex shows etc. Best part is the kebabs at the end of the rd near beach. Delicious.

I love the seafood here. i eat lobster, prawn and squird and drink it It costs you 1700 baht. The environment for me is just a normal night market. but its cheap compared to other night markets near pa Tong beach

The food is great, I know you heard to watch out for the street food. These stands make the food in front of you and the lobster is on ice. I didn't get sick from the street food. It was the blue liquor they pour down your throat at the bar.

Not a bad place to go to, be careful of scams with games you play at bars, can cost you big time, and some drinks can be pricey. I don't recommend to take kids of a night.

Bangla night marked is in the middle of the busy bar street Bangla road. Open everyday until 0400 or 0500 it has everything within food and drink you could ever want. The prices are reasonable, more expensive than further north, but so is everything here. The seafood is straight from the ocean here and the BBQ is fantastic

We made it a priority to get food from street markets while visiting Pa Tong and the bangle road markets didn’t disappoint. We got food from a few different stalls and loved it all. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing so I highly recommend checking it out.

It was a great stay in the market. Its right on the beginning of the Bangla Road and still not too noisy. The price for food is like 100Baht in general. It seems to be all the same company so it does not matter where you choose food. Each of them is high quality, traditional Thai food but also western BBQ. We were eating in Pad Thai 9 and it was very delicious. The prices are cheap and the atmosphere is veery kind. You can find all kind of food and sea food there. I would recommend trying the traditional Thai Pancake Nutella and Banana for a dessert 🍨. 10/10 recommended

A place to have great street food in the centre of phuket..This place serves awesome sea food along with many other local cuisine. One can buy sea food raw and make it cook with choice of sauces. Good quality great tasty food. One can enjoy both Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks here with some live local music.

Out for dinner with a couple of mates. Food was good. But not cheap. It's off bangla road so tourist area and you pay for that. But overall food was good and service is always friendly.

  • 4/5 KH S. 1 year ago on Google
Food was great. Fresh seafood. Lobster amd crab taste good, after weighing, we were charged 1800 baht for 1 lobster and 1 crab. Just that pineapple fried rice a bit overpriced, 300 baht. May be can try survey on different stalls for better price comparison if needed. (We didnt do so, we choose the first stalls located at the left of the market)

Many people offering ping pong but i wasn't sure how to play. Also a lot of grass sellers but didn't feel safe. I like the folks selling seafood.

Tourist food trap! Completely overpriced. 150 baht for 3 shrimps and a little broccoli. Don’t go. Used to be a backside alley food place for locals working in the area…not any more
