Took my girlfriend on holiday and had been here before in the past thinking this would be a nice setting on the water. Well we seated ourselves. After a long while I had to wave to a staff member at the bar for a menu. He could have gotten us one but went to locate a waitress. Open the first page and of the menu and they are touting reviews from TA. We waited a while for the waitress to come back to take our order. Our order came and there were no condiments. The condiment station was right in front of our table so I helped myself. While we were eating a man showed up at the condiment station as well, then a waitress appeared and he had asked her for a menu. I told my girlfriend that he apparently sat at an invisible table also and look at all the staff but no one could see him either. We finished our meal and waited for someone to pass by and finally I took my bill to the cashier and paid it. Food was good and prices reasonable, but a blemish on having a nice dinner in a nice location. Sit at the bar you will get better service.

I give this place a 5 star rating because I don't know of another place like it here. Wonderful for watching the sunset. When it's busy the service is pushed to it's limit and things can get a little crazy, like waiting for seating, service and food. I like to come for breakfast (they serve breakfast at all times) in the early afternoon or late morning. Food is good and reasonably priced as stated in other reviews. What I will say about the breakfast is I can get 2 eggs, 4 pieces of toast (2 orders of toast) and Bacon for around 150 baht. The eggs must be huge because I'm always amazed at how much egg I have on my plate considering it's just two.

And the draft beer is the right price(cheaper than than disgusting sexy bars), it’s cold and a good quality. Came in around 11pm on a Monday. Seated myself and managed to find a table with decent view even though it was mildly crowded. Was given a menu immediately and given about ten minutes to look it over. Ordered a pint of Leo, bottled water, prawn pad thai and the Beer Garden Burger. Beer showed up in 5 minutes and food in about 15. Everything tasted great. Final damage was 515 baht. Place started to die down between 11:30 and midnight. The staff here is very attentive and speaks very good English compared to some other places in town.

Food is average, ordered Roasted Spring Chicken but it is overcooked and dry. Service is nothing amazing, though one of the waitresses (a slim girl) is quite friendly and welcome us warmly. The others are pulling a long face. It is at the beach so view is really great. Unfortunately, I have no intention of visiting this place for the second time as there are many much better choices in the area.

The food arrived about 25 minutes later and it was perfect. Some of the nicest food we have had since we got to Thailand. When passing the open plan kitchen it is incredible to see how precise the chefs are and the pace at which they make, plate and send out meals. A pitcher of western beer set us back about 200baht which is insanely cheap and we would go back here in a heartbeat. Great place to eat and warm up with a few drinks before tackling walking street.
