As
I
see,
management
does
actually
read
and
take
the
time
to
respond
to
reviews,
let
me
remark
pursuant
to
context
and
credibility
prior
to
commenting
on
my
latest
experience
at
your
establishment.
A
dear
friend
(RIP)
first
took
me
to
this
place
years
ago
and
I
have
been
there
numerous
times
without
issue.
Get
some
drinks,
relax,
music
sabai
sabai.
I
recall
chatting
with
an
owner,
an
intelligent
articulate
guy
with
background
in
the
automotive
industry
in
the
UK.
Recall
he
had
an
issue
with
certain
features/spec
of
a
Mercedes
Benz
he
liked
and
an
import
was
very
expensive.
My
profession
as
a
US
qualified
medical
doctor
came
into
the
conversation
and
he
confided
in
me
about
his
longstanding
health
issue
and
I
was
happy
to
share
my
thoughts
on
it.
I
have
lived
in
Thailand
in
excess
of
10
years.
Anyway
Monday
evening
(2
nights
ago)as
I
was
headed
to
an
ATM
(knew
I
only
had
200
baht)
walked
by
WM
and
thought
to
grab
a
90
baht
beer
pit-stop.
Sitting
minding
my
own
business
a
dancer
uninvited
sits
on
my
lap
and
a
waitress
appears
almost
immediately.
Waitress
prompts
me
to
buy
dancer
a
drink
but
I
tell
her
in
all
honesty
“
Sorry
because
I
don’t
have
the
cash”
I
also
told
her
in
Thai
(I
speak,
read
and
write
Thai)
Waitress
said
“Don’t
worry.
I
give
her
200
baht
for
drink”
I
was
shocked
and
asked
her
in
Thai
to
confirm
what
she
said
“Really,
you
will
pay
for
her
drink?”
“Yes.”
Next
in
a
jovial
way
they
asked
me
what
my
name
is,
I
told
them
but
waitress
said
better
to
please
write
name.
She
took
out
a
piece
of
what
looked
like
scrap
paper,
had
other
things
written
on
it
already.
As
a
courtesy
I
printed
my
name.
Couple
of
minutes
later
they
bring
ME
a
check
for
290
baht.
I
ask
waitress
why
because
waitress
stated
she
is
paying
for
dancer’s
drink.
Fact
is
I
clearly
did
not
agree
to
pay
for
this
drink
and
I
had
even
stated
I
did
not
have
much
money
prior
to
this.
Running
a
tab
is
different
because
some
places
will
ask
customer
to
sign
each
bill
as
a
safeguard.
I
have
done
this
before
but
this
was
completely
different,
the
paper
on
which
waitress
asked
to
understand
my
name
better
was
NOT
a
bill,
it
looked
like
a
scratch
paper.
Mamasang
came
to
scold
me
and
I
reiterated
what
factually
happened,
in
Thai.
Of
note
is
my
actual
real
bill
for
90
baht
never
reappeared
though
I
asked
for
it.
They
seemed
uninterested
and
I
literally
had
to
insist
on
paying
this
which
I
did
and
with
tip
intended
for
my
original
server.
Perhaps
they
were
hoping
I
would
leave
without
paying
my
real
bill
then
use
this
as
leverage
to
extort
me?
Mamasang
had
security
remove
me.
I
was
glad
to
leave
and
just
wanted
to
pay
my
actual
bill
first
but
mamasang
had
the
heavy
set
security
guy
push
me
out.
It
seemed
as
I
could
speak
Thai
and
knew
I
had
been
scammed
they
did
not
know
what
to
do
with
me.
Even
as
I
was
walking
out
the
security
guy
was
shoving
my
shoulder
unnecessarily.
I
did
tell
them
in
Thai
I
am
more
than
happy
to
go
with
them
to
the
police
station
and
report
this
incident,
to
which
they
replied
never-mind.
Using
logic
and
reason
one
would
think
after
a
customer
confirms
before
the
fact,
not
having
enough
cash
on
hand
for
a
drink
that
they
would
find
a
different
customer
to
perpetrate
this
on,?
I
highly
doubt
the
owner
sanctions
stuff
like
this.
Really
a
pity
my
first
review
has
to
be
about
this.
