I first patroned the practice when they were in a smaller office. Service was fine and staff was okay but every sick visit resulted in numerous extra screenings of things that didnt make much sense to me, however, i figured, better safe then sorry. Until i received the bill. I started to wonder. Time passed and I thought, new insurance, let me give them another chance since they are close to home and do in office labs. FAIL!! 1. Monica Pinglo was amazing. The administrative staff, terrible. They hand me new consents since it's been a few years. I ended up taking the forms into the room with me because I was called in. The wait was long and the office appeared empty. Once finished i was told i needed to wait to check out. I was already late for work. My appointment started at 845am and ran to 1045am. So to wait more was an inconvenience. The receptionist then tells me the doc wants me back in, in 9 wks, i was so confused. I questioned it and then she realized she misread and schedule me for 4wks. 😒 2. Doc called in a RX and it never went through to the pharmacy. I left a message with the nurse and never got a call back. All labs completed, i received the results from Quest Diagnostic bcs i have an account. Weeks passed and no one called to discuss the labs with me. Then my mammogram results came, in a form of a letter stating there was a finding and i needed more screenings, to contact my doctor for next steps. I call, now livid over the lack of communication and was told to leave a message for the office manager who would call me back before noon. At 230pm i call asking to speak with the OM. Someone comes on the phone just shooting lab results at me and I was confused. I interrupted and asked for clarity. Never an apology, no clarification for why i was never called, simply said i should have received a call. I questioned the RX i never received, she then checks and says, oh you are correct it didnt go through, as if i would lie about that. Tells me she is preparing the order for the new screenings. 3. I come in to pick up the order and its not even prepared and then it was also incorrect, which i found out at the screening location. I had to drive 40min to come back to the office bcs they never answered the phone, to pick up the new order and race back to the hospital for my screening. 4! Here i am, writing this from the waiting area for my follow up. I walk in at 3:57pm, and im asked if i have an appointment, i respond yes, then im asked my name. Im wondering what is the point in my signing in. The receptionist then hands me a new consent form. Im baffled bcs I recall completing it on my initial visit. She disregards me and I complete the forms again. I hand them to her and recall that i have completed and just want her to know that ive done them again. As i sit down i hear her turn to her coworker and starts talking about me. Then turns and ask me again who i handed the original form as if I didnt hear her conversation. This is wild to me! At this point id like to finish my follow up, bcs ive been anxiously waiting for the docs plan, and find a new doctor. (It is now 4:50 and I was just called in)

I’ve been going to Dr. Manella for about four years now. Her and her team are the most amazing primary care team I’ve ever worked with. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond - even if that means calling you after hours. I’m very grateful to be under their care. I would highly recommend Manella Family Practice to anyone.

I have been a patient at the Manella Family Practice for years. My husband and I recently became full time RVers and while on the road I called the office because I needed a refill on a prescription. I was told I needed to come in before the prescription could be filled. When I explained we were in Washington State I was told they no longer do telehealth and that I should find a new doctor while on the road. What?!! May I also add that my daughter is a current patient and has been waiting well over a week for test results. When she calls the office she is put on hold and gets no where. The office receptionist is abrasive and rude and needs to learn some phone etiquette. I’m not sure what is going on in the office but I remained a patient of Dr. Susan Manella for years because of the friendly smiles I was greeted with when I walked in, bedside manner of the doctor, and the prompt and efficient call backs. It felt like a family practice, especially when I would receive call backs after hours. There was a real genuineness felt! Another reviewer wrote the office is run like, “a well oiled machine.” I am not a machine, nor is any patient. I signed up to be a patient of Dr. Susan Manella and unfortunately seldom saw her. Quite frankly, I never knew which doctor was going to walk through the door; which makes it very difficult to develop a doctor/patient rapport. Growing the Manella Family Practice is commendable; unfortunately “Family” has been lost in their pursuit of expansion.

The Doctors are awesome. The Nurses are awesome. The intake staff are awesome. What isn’t awesome is the phone system. It is too rigid. If your problem doesn’t fit in their black and white box you are out of luck. My called in prescription which was time sensitive with my illness failed to get to my pharmacy. You can’t speak to a person and are at the mercy of a 24-48 hour wait to get a possible resolution. This is unacceptable. Medical health isn’t like waiting for a delivery. It is time sensitive. You can’t have a medical provider that is robotic. I had to drive back to the office to get this resolved. Fix this if you want positive feedback.

Well where do i began, Dr. Manella's Office Manager is unprofessional, she didn't listen, was condescending after I told the front office how frustrated I was becoming with no call follow ups from a doctor to discuss my medical condition. I also reiterated that Angie promised to have the doctor call me to answer my questions on Monday and today is Wednesday so no call so I decided to call. Mind you Angie had already given me misinformation from the incorrect bloodwork, and she followed up and left a message that she made a mistake and gave me he incorrect results (I still have he message). Finally I decided to drive to he office approximately a week ago to speak face to face since they claim they dont have my new blood work that was requested by the Office from The Quest. I actually had to drive to the Quest to verify that they uploaded the information. So when I arrived to the office I was informed that Angie was on lunch break so another I must admit pleasant young lady assisted me and was able to pull my new blood work and submit it to the doctor. If did receive a call back from Angie and or the Office Manager who gave me my results and I explained to her my health concern and would like to speak directly to the doctor for a probable solution because this treatment plan I had been on for years was not proving highly effective. She then said I had to come in and meet with the doctor, I explained and she verified I had an appointment in August, but I need to speak with a doctor before then. She refused and kept pushing the appointment. She finally said the doctor will not be available until Monday and she would have her to call, I then said what about speaking to Dr. Manella and she said she is not available but would have my assigned doctor call me on Monday. No call it's Wednesday so I called. I informed the front desk staff of my frustration with Angie and she explained that Angie is performing the tasks of 3 people and she is doing the best she can, I said no excuse my health is failing, Dr. Manella needs to hire more help, retrain or fire the incompetent staff. Next thing the Office Manager came to the phone being condescending, accusing me of being angry (like black women can't be frustrated with incompetence, neither can they express their dislike, we are just suppose to tolerate any old type of treatment) the Office Manager apparently is friends with Angie because she never listen, understood or cared about how incompetent Angie was performing so she kept speaking condescending and refuse to listen, I asked to speak with Dr. Manella, she said she is not in the office and hung up. I was hung up on twice. All I know is Dr. Susan Manella's Medical practice and professionalism has gone to the dogs in terms of office staff. I have been a client under Dr. Manella for over 15 years probably 20 or more and have never had any concerns with office staff. Dr. Manella is a wonderful doctor, or should I say she use o be because I don't quite know how it happen but I have actually seen her for a visit in probably a decade. The office has expanded, this is great, but since the pandemic appointments are at least two months out before you can be seen. However, I offer no excuses for the incompetent Office Manager and Angie the assistant for Dr.Dubin. They both need to be fired or retrained on customer care, especially when they are serving people who may not be feeling well, unhealthy or worst dying. I am moving my PCP to Cleveland Clinic where I always get the highest and best professional care and service. Later with Dr. Manella's ghetto, gangster, incompetent and careless office staff.

If i could give this malpractice zero stars i would. I called today to verify my appointment, they changed my fathers appointment without notice. The last straw for me was when i was still on the phone and the lady i was speaking with told her coworker “i dont know why he would schedule to be seen with a doctor that only speaks english. ” My father understands English but doesn’t speak it. This place discriminates keep away!! They aren’t here to help you, only to discriminate and belittle you.

I've been with Dr. Susan Mandella for more than 10 years. Dr. Mandella and her staff are professional, kind, and honestly love people to great health. When I got to Dr. Mandella being a "black woman" my health had deteriorated to a point I was not eating or sleeping well. My numbers for cholesterol, pre-diabetes, high blood pressure and weight was out of control. I should have not been here on earth. Dr. Mandella sat with me and she being honest with me ran every test you can think of to bring me where I'm today. I'm GRATEFUL, cause the God, I serve brought me to this caring doctor and staff. I'm every so GRATEFUL! Thank you!

Horrible experience! First day I went and saw a NP because appointment with Dr Manella had months wait time. All went well but then I was called to provide me with lab results, one of the results required an ultrasound and I was told I would be called back to schedule it. A month went by, I called 3 times and left messages and nobody called me back. I waited months for an appointment with Dr. Manella only to be told the day before that I was now going to see another NP because Dr Manella had something last minute. I still went ahead and went to the appointment with the NP, I show up and they tell me that my appointment was at 1:45 pm not 11:45 am. I asked them to cancel and was advised about a penalty fee for cancelling NOT EVEN TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT I HAD BEEN CONSIDERATE OF THE FACT THAT THEY CHANGED ME TO A DIFFERENT PROVIDER THAN THE ONE IVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS TO SEE.

Dr. Manella took the time to expertly address four different problems I was experiencing. I never felt rushed, and I am confident that each issue will soon be resolved. She and her assistants are very courteous, competent and professional.

Dr. Manella is the most professional and caring doctor! She is extremely thorough with her examination. She doesn’t rush you and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. She always takes an interest by asking about my family. Her nurse practitioner Tegan is the best! I’m just as comfortable having her examine me if Dr. Manella isn’t available and I need to be seen for a last minute appointment. The office staff is very friendly and efficient and I never have a long wait. The office takes Covid measures very seriously which makes me more comfortable. You text them when you arrive and they let you know when there aren’t too many patients in the waiting room. Your temperature is taken and masks are mandated by all. I have been going to Dr. Manella for about 20 plus years and I highly recommend her!

I have been going to Dr. Manella’s practice for many years and have consistently had a good experience at this office. Dr. Manella is caring, professional, and detailed. I truly feel that my overall health is in excellent hands. I’ve also been a patient of her associate doctors and have had consistent quality experiences with each of them as well. Her team is friendly, welcoming, and efficient; from check- in to check-out. Thank you team for your devotion to your patients!

I’ve been going here since I moved to Florida a couple years ago and it’s been amazing! I’ve never had any issues with anyone here, they are very professional. Doctor Edele is amazing and I’ve been seeing him since I’ve been going here. The other day I went in & had some issues where a past claim wasn’t covered by my insurance when it should’ve been. Michelle made it her mission to make sure I got my money back! She printed out what I needed, gave me her number, and then got on a three way call with my insurance to talk to them with me! You can tell she really cared and made sure I had that handled. She is amazing!! Would recommend this office to everyone!

I love the doctors but the front desk staff /office manager (Nicole) are rude and disrespectful. I despise someone speaking to me like I’m an idiot. This is how they treat military personnel their family members!!! Sad!!!!

When you visit a doctor for annual exams and are generally healthy, it's easy to rate them highly effective. However, when you begin to experience multiple, complicated health issues and you find a doctor's office that takes the time to really listen, without rushing you, is understanding, ask questions, and have empathy, then you can rate them as amazing. This has been my experience with Penny Cuoco, ARNP. Ms. Cuoco's compassion and caring attitude is a tremendous asset to Dr. Manella's office.
