I have been a patient of Dr. Hirsch for quite some time. He's a great doctor and extremely knowledgeable. However, I do think he goes a little too fast tempo when he examines. He was in and out of the room in 10 minutes for my annual wellness examination. He's asking me these rapid-fire questions and not even waiting for me to respond before he asks me another one. He needs to slow down and listen to his patients. The office staff could be more professional too. His nursing assistant was in the room texting on her phone practically laying down instead of taking notes or whatever, she was supposed to be doing while she was in the room. Also, the other ladies in the office seem to be talking to each other about personal matters more than the patients standing in front of them. The office staff needs to be more professional.

Good dr not worth the mess that is the front desk they will either loose your appointment or say you never booked or just tell you completely wrong information! This is the second time they have messed up and made it my fault and that I have to fix it. Talked to the office manager and all I got was sorry we have new staff ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE and unprofessional when I was asked when I need this by I said in 3 days which is the normal wait time for what I need and the lab tech laughed in my face! I will be finding a new pcp and a new office stay away

Once you you fill out the questionair, I was taken in at my appointed time. Sonia, the assistant was very engaging and friendly taking my vitals and updating my file and doing some cognitive tests such as having me spell World backwards :-) and naming all 48 presidents! I passed. Dr. Hirsch was his usual pleasant self and welcomed me back from the Pandemic Hiatus for my annual physical and ordered shots, blood and other specimens. Overall it was a very pleasant visit. Would highly recommend Dr. Hirsch to others.

Doctor Hirsch has been my primary care physician for over 30 years and as a matter of fact, I believe that I was among his very first patients when he started his practice & I came into his office with a terrible headache which later turned out to be meningitis and I was admitted to the hospital with a very high fever and also had a craniotomy during my 3 months there and Doctor Hirsch was frequently at my bedside. I sometimes even slip up and call him Michael...not to disrespect his being a professional, but because I feel that he is more like a personal friend who always cares about how I'm doing...I don't know what I'd do without him but I'm very blessed by seeing him

I had labs there in 2021. They never called so I assumed everything was good. 2022 I had labs, and this time they made me an appointment for a follow up. Turns out my liver enzymes were super high, so Dr. HIRSCH sent me for an ultrasound of the liver. The following week I called Dr. Hirsch’s office and they said they hadn’t received the results. I called diagnostic center where I had the ultrasound and they said the diagnostic center sent the results the same day. I called Dr. Hirsch’s office again to let them know. One week later, still no call, so I leave a message. And they ask me what kind of ultrasound I had, a question I think they should know the answer to. Then they said they’d call me back. They call back and say, oh, you have fatty liver disease. Just avoid food high in cholesterol. It’s not going away, but just avoid those foods”. Really? You diagnose me with a disease that’s not going away and can lead to cirrhosis and cancer and I just have to avoid high cholesterol foods? It wasn’t even the doctor. So I decide to look at my labs that I had in 2021, and my liver enzymes were high then, and they doubled this year! Needless to say, STAY AWAY! I don’t trust them one bit anymore.

I am more than pleased with Dr. Hirsch as my primary physician. He and his staff are caring and professional. I will continue with Dr. Hirsch as my primary physician.

For the amount of years I have been with Dr. Michael Hirsch I have never had a complaint until today. I was giving a referral to have a procedure done. After finding out I was allergic to iodine the procedure was canceled. I was advised to plan with my primary care provider and make another appointment. I have been in communication Dr. Nicole Conway and things were going well. After speaking with Dr. Conway she wanted to prescribe me with two medicines. However, my insurance didn’t cover one of them. The doctor sent one prescription in for Prednisone to be taking the day of. When I returned the doctors call I was directed to take a 50mg Benadryl as well the day of as well. The day of my appointment I saw a missed call from Micheal Hirsch office around 10:50am during non regular business hours. The voicemail left directed me to call the office. Because it was after hours I had to leave a message. When I finally received a call back from Dr. Hirsch; the lack of patience he had for understanding I was returning a call that simply directed me to call the office. He was busy arguing with me claiming his office had never called me when my records indicates differently. He was busy explaining to me why my appointment was canceled not understanding that was his opportunity to direct me moving forward.I assume perhaps the specialist had communicated with Dr. Conway informing the office of a cancellation I never received; perhaps the missed call form Dr. Hirsch was in regards. I ended up taking the two pills and went to the appointment I didn’t know was canceled for the 2nd time. I was directed by the specialist to admit myself into a hospital. At this point I wasn’t sure of what to do. All I know is today on the phone Dr. Hirsch was not my doctor or should I say the doctor I know. I was already in distress and he just was not trying to hear me. After the frustration had escalated I was trying to figure out what’s next. The Dr. then tells me someone from the office will reach out to me on Monday. I don’t know what patient would want to be on the phone with their doctor just to be on the phone. I was simply retuning a missed call and wanting to know after taking the pills what’s next; Customer Service in all angles was messy and I just was not be treated as a client but instead treated as a third wheel. Hopefully, on Monday everything will be resolved.

I love Dr. Hirsch he seems to care about my health he makes sure I get the treatment and medication that I needs to make my health better and if the medication don’t work he try another. I am very pleased with my doctor. All doctors should be like him. I also love his staff.

Dr Hirsch and his staff are awesome... He listens to you and kind and compassionate. The staff is friendly and very helpful!

I appreciate the care that Dr Hirsch have given to me down thru the years. I have been a patient of his over 20 years and before the demise of my husband he was our Doctor. I recommend his service.

I am usually always satisfied with my visits but Unfortunately for me, Dr.Hirsch did not call in my prescription that I really needed before the weekend. I came in on a Thursday and now have to wait until the office opens on Monday. Sadly

I don't know about the Dr because we never got to meet him despite having scheduled a couple of appointments with him. Why, you ask? Because his practice cares more about getting paid than his patients. The first time my parents went to his office, they were told that Dr. Hersch didn't show as their primary on their HMO plan. Had they called the insurance company, they would have been able to confirmed that Dr. Hersch was listed as the primary provider under my parents plan and their claim would be paid. During the second appt, my parents were turned away again because language is all of the sudden a barrier. I specifically told them that my parents didn't speak English and asked if Spanish would be an issue. They said no. My parents were there in person during their first visit, they couldn't have told them that nobody in the office could speak Spanish? My mom had a mini stroke between the first and the second appointment. He wouldn't even release the referral forms that the ER sent to their office. Instead, they insisted that they would need to go see some Dr. they referred my parents to due to "billing issues."

Dr. Hirsch was professional during the office visit and patiently listened to my health concerns. He has been my primary care physician for longer than I can remember and I would not have anyone else.

I have been a patient of Dr.michael Hirsch for well over 20 years. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but he combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. Dr. Hirsch truly cares. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Specialist in Family Medicine.

WOW!!!. What's ha pened with the staff there. Good experience with Dr appt, but then...no one prioritizes phone calls. Now accordingly to this morning's recording.."allow 5 days to refill a prescription", are you kidding me.!!! Am i . Suppose to go to er for a script ive been on for 22 years. I can get an Amazon order faster. V ERY VERY DISTURBING.. This is all happening today I don't have the time nor energy to explain how I originally requested this at an even earlier date. Was told a staff shortage.; then.hire someone sitting on their _____ in the comfort of their home or coffee shop to prioritize calls. Dogs get better service than this.

Good experience overall ..the dosage of my Prednisone perscription was very confusing.. There were 3 different conclusions as to how much I should take daily after the initial 4 for 3 days. The pharmacist said one thing that was incorrect. I came to a different conclusion that was different from the pharmacists so I called Hirsch's office and was told a third thing. Not only that the prescription says it should be completed in 10 days but what Hirsch's employee told me was that it will take 15 days to complete. So as you can see this was very convaluted and confusing. Might I suggest that the "daily" dosage should be made clear

Dr Hirsch has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. He’s not only a wonderful and caring doctor but a great human being. He’s very proactive pointing out areas that need attention to prevent health issues before they happen. Very punctual but spends all the time he needs with you and extremely knowledgeable. Love him. It was easy to get the appointment, and I then needed to reschedule, which was also easy. The visit itself went well. My wait time was not long, and the staff were both pleasant and efficient. Dr. Hirsch took sufficient time with me to explain things and answer all my questions. If my initial visit is any indication of things to come, I believe I will be very pleased.
