I went in today with my mom around 7:50 am to stand in line. I’ve was so sick and in pain. Majority of the people there were only there to get covid tested. I kept asking to be seen because I was really nauseous and I was freezing due to a fever. 5 hours pass by and my mom went to the front to ask when I’d be seen next and they told her another two hours. Mind you, I had a fever, body aches, chills, mucus running down my nose and I was about to pass out. Healthy patients were seen before me even though i’ve asked numerous of times to be seen because i felt super ill. They didn’t care at all. A gentleman was waiting as well and passed out, which led to the doctors having to call the ambulance on him. I feel bad for everyone I was waiting with today. I cried, wanted to throw up, was dizzy and people that came in after me were seen before me. I didn’t know what to do. Don’t come here, you’ll literally die.

Horrible service! Wish I would have read these reviews before going in there. I see that people have given bad reviews but apparently nothing has been done. They still have these rude unprofessional staff working there. I've Never been in an urgent care in which they have people that show no care for the patients like they do at this location. Me as an HR, would have already changed that rude staff they have working there. I Went in 9/23/21 at 5:15pm with a bad lower abdominal pain. I am new to the area and this urgent care was the closest urgent care around my house. I walked in and there was 1 person in the waiting area. I approached front desk, 2 woman at the front, the one at the window, young girl, tells me that the wait time was 2 hours and I said it's okay, I'm in pain and will wait. She looks at the other lady next to her with a look of not expecting me to say I will wait. Mind you that the place was empty. With a very bad face (seemed they didn't want to work and take any patients at 5:15pm) asked for my ID and Insurance card. I tell her I lost my insurance card but can give her my social and the insurance information and immediately she tells me "we can't see you here if you don't have your card" I said again, "I can give you the info but I don't have the card with me, and I'm just in such a bad pain" and She still refused to check me in. Horrible service! Didn't even try to help. I said I have gone to another MD urgent care with no card before and was seen with no problem. She said with a rude attitude "Well we are not those other urgent care!" Very disappointed to see people in the medical field treat patients like that. Horrible people working there! Don't waste your time going there.

Showed up at opening for an employment mandated Covid rapid test due to current community levels. Immediately ran into resistance at the front desk. Front desk employee stated that I can not ask for a rapid as only the physician can dictate the type of test administered. After again explaining the reason for the test, the lack of symptoms or exposure and the need for immediate results she agreed to go back and speak to the physician. After a short while, she agreed the rapid could be administered. I was the only person in the lobby, where I waited for another 45 minutes alone. After asking the front girl again, how long it might be, she said she'd check. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, I was taken to the back, where I continued to wait. I could hear them now bringing in other patients and dealing with them, but I waited patiently. After waiting an additional 40 mins in the room, I opened the door and asked how much longer. At that point I advised I had been at the facility for 1.45 hours. A male entered the room and told me that he would not tolerate me hyping things up and he would be administering the test, he was sorry for the wait but he had never done a rapid before and had been running controls. I asked to make sure I understood him, and he said it was his first test. He then proceeded to swab my nose and took the swab out of the room with him, exposed through the air. I finally got my negative results at 10:10a. It was a 2 hour ND 10 min ordeal. Needless to say, I will never return there.

They had a Packed waiting room With people waiting for Covid testing with some of them not wearing a mask properly and constantly coughing . waited for an hour - with an appointment , was told the doctor was on break. Badly managed and Definitely dangerous. How is it that a healthcare facility does not have a system to keep their patients safe? I feel safer walking into a fast food place than this place. If this is what is happening in their waiting room, imagine their Test protocols.

ATTITUDE ATTITUDE AND ATTITUDE that is all I got from who I believe is a medical assistant i am a registered nurse at a major hospital I cannot believe this location employees someone with such poor customer service and the look of hating her job. She is African American lady with bun. The two times I went there she was not wearing a name tag and wears black scrubs. Beware of this person!!! Sorry for her She must really hate her life, that does not mean she needs to be so rude!! She is lucky I came tired or else I would’ve put her in her place!!!

I’m so disappointed in my experience. Horrible place to go DO NOT COME HERE FOR URGENT CARE! I came with my 2 kids 2 get Covid tested and waited 7 hrs no apology no care. An elderly lady passed out waiting to be seen in the sun and they did not care. They called 911 and didn’t monitor or attend her. It’s now been 4 days and no results. I have waited long enough now to call them is another long wait. I will never ever come here and I will tell everyone do not come here. The worst patient care I have ever seen. If I could give you a zero I would. There is no excuse!

Here we are… again! My wife cane here last week for a posible infection, we waited for over 4 hours just to be seen. They took some samples to supposedly send to the lab (which they obviously charged us for) and prescribed her some generic antibiotics to take in the meantime. Guess what? My wife is not feeling better because the antibiotics are not working and now her gynecologist can’t take another sample and get a reliable result due to the fact that she has been in the wrong antibiotic thanks to this people. Did they not send the sample to get tested because they’re running a scam charging patients for test they don’t actually carry out? Or were they really just that careless that “forgot” to send out the sample of a very PREGNANT patient with an infection? Keep in mind that there were no more than 3 people in the waiting room at a time. They have managed to turn a simple UTI into a huge nightmare all while putting my 37 week pregnant wife at risk. Save your live and your loved ones, don’t come here!

THE WORST URGENT CARE IN THE US. PLEASE DONT EVEN TRY TO GO THERE. I called to make an appointment to have my COVID 19 test and they scheduled my appointment for 5 days later. I went and I had the Swab test and today after 7 days waiting for my results I just received the results that the swab sample WAS NOT SUFFICIENT (QNS- Quantity Not sufficient) and when I called them they just said that I have to make another appointment to make the swap test again...meaning I will have to wait another 12 days to get my results. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I probably would have died just waiting for my results. UNBELIEVABLE

This was my 1st experience with MD now urgent care in Pembroke Pines. I must say the service was tremendous. This period I met with a receptionist as soon as I walked in the front door 5 minutes after that I met with a doctor's assistant who met with me to discuss my issues. And 10 minutes after that the doctor visited me gave me a full analysis prescribed what I needed and what my illness was. Within 40 minutes I was in the front door and out the front door on my way to pick up prescriptions that now approximately 24 hours later seem to be curing the health issues I've had for the last 2 weeks. Needless to say the service was wonderful and I will certainly visit again. Thank you very much to all of the staff

I had a terrible experience at this doctor's office. The person who assisted my mother, Latoya, was incredibly unprofessional and unpleasant. She failed to let us know about my mother's blood pressure, which is a basic and important piece of information during a medical visit. Furthermore, when we had questions to ask, she rushed us out of the room without providing any opportunity to speak or clarify concerns. Overall, the customer service and patient care at this office were severely lacking. It's concerning that patients can be treated in such an unprofessional and dismissive manner. I do not recommend this office location and will not be returning. Patients deserve to be informed and respected during their medical visits, and this office failed to provide either.

Definitely really bad at communicating to people. I was there today with my family waiting to get covid tested, and just when we were at the door, the nurse came and said they only had one doctor on site and the test results take 4 days to be available. They should have said that before. We were in line for about 4 hours. It is unfair that they didn’t have that information somewhere or on their website. I am very disappointed. This one the second urgent care I visit on the same day. The first one, the personnel didn’t show up.

Went here for a sore throat I waited and hour before I got took to the back and then as I went to the back and in the room the doctor didn’t even turn the light on somebody else had to. I tested negative for strep but still wasn’t prescribed any antibiotics for the pain, the doctor that seen me seem confused like she didn’t know what she was doing but I ended up going to the emergency room the next morning and was prescribed antibiotics. Waisted $100 copay just to leave with no treatment but they’ll never see me again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I went early as soon as they opened and was the first one inside. They unlocked the door and opened it for me and checked me in quickly. The receptionist was very nice and the nurse and doctor were also very friendly. I am an anxious person in general and overall I had a great experience here. I highly suggest if you need to go to the doctor before work, make an appointment right when they open. I was in and out in less than an hour.

I have gone a few times and have always had great care/service. This last time I went, the doctor seemed very uncomfortable and not knowledgeable about certain things. This doctor was very very young (not that I mind) but I feel should be knowledgeable in all aspects of medicine if she is to work at an urgent care center.

DO NOT COME HERE! Any review that is greater than a 2 star is a false review. The staff and doctors are not helpful. You will wait at least 30 minutes before being called back, even when there are only two people in the waiting room. Once (if) you get called back, you will wait over an hour before the doctor sees you. My wife was called back to be seen by one of the doctors at 2:50 pm and was not seen by a doctor until 4:30 pm. This was our second time coming to this urgent care and received the same terrible, shameful, and disgusting service. I suggest to the employees of MD Now Urgent Care Pembroke Pines to research the definition of the word “Urgent”. I’ll do it for you because if we have to wait on YOU to find the definition for the word “Urgent”....honestly it won’t happen. The definition of the word “Urgent”: (adj.) a situation requiring immediate action or attention. You will not find urgency at this care center. Doctors, Nurses, and receptionists should be ashamed of themselves. I’d argue on the side of lay offs/replacements. DO NOT COME HERE!

My first experience here on Tuesday Oct. 27, 2020. I was seen by Dr. Francisco Sanchez was very professional, very comfortable to talk to and I highly recommend him, I'll be recommending. I also spoke over with Candace over the phone, who gave great customer service, her professionalism was superb and she did a great job, her patience and attention is appreciated, I'll be recommending Candace. Today as of Tues. Nov. 2, 2020 around 4:40PM I spoke to Maynahica over the phone and also was great with her welcoming attitude, her way of communicating made me feel confident and content with her work to come back for a follow up. I also can't forgot about nurse Stephanie she was so wonderful and was very quick to take me to the doctor's. Thank you soo much everyone who took care of me at Md Now urgent care.

As a registered nurse in a hospital, there is nooooooo wayyyyy I would want any of these folks dealing w my health records again. I came here needing a document urgently to leave for work, not only did they mess up they failed to inform me about the issue until I followed up after the weekend; along with refusing to give me mandatory details about my own health record! Apart from the older African American woman w the accent and the two younger ones, everyone else at this front desk is terrible. Leave the attitude at home, if you do not want to work don’t show up! QUIT it is that simple. CareSpot urgent care is 5 mins East and more than helpful.

I went to this urgent care today with my partner. He had quite an embarrassing hand injury. (He hurt himself mixing frozen ground beef.)Every one of the staff were very caring and efficient. From the front girls to the PA. The place was very clean and everyone was wearing a mask. Except one of the girls had it on her chin. But she wasnt taking care of anyone so it wasnt much of a concern. We got there around 9 AM and we were out of there by 10:30. The wait in the waiting room was very short. No insurance, but the price was very affordable. I do recommend this place for anyone that may have an urgent injury or may have covid-19. They take care of that too,we were turned away from a different clinic due to a slight fever. Glad we came here instead.

The wait was 3 hours from start to finish for a covid test. The worst part is waiting for the results. Their automated message states you will get results in less than 48 hours. I logged into the patient portal which has not been updated. I then proceeded to call the location I visited twice. Each time I was in the phone for an hour and was transferred numerous times just ti be hung up on. They were very quick to charge me $199 for the Covid test and I have nothing back. Dr. Peter and Stephanie Lamelas are racking in the money and need to invest in staff and customer service trainings. Epic fail! Do not recommend unless if you are into throwing money away!

No issue with the attitude of the staff or doctor but they lost my sample and never contacted me to get a new one. They could not tell me this over the phone and I waited a half hour in the waiting room before hearing this news. I have no idea why my tonsils were swelling up now or how to prevent it. I didn't go to the emergency room because I wasn't dying but I've never had this happen anywhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place for genuine urgent care.

Worst place ever. I am a Nurse and I am advising patients to run away from this place. Staff is unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. MD is too lazy to give a verbal order to a pharmacist when his incompetent staff were unable to electronically send a prescription to the pharmacy. Just completely aggravating situation and useless staff. Instead of caring and going above and beyond for the patient they Only care about collecting your money. All staff and MD were rude to CVS staff and pharmacist. I would give this place a negative if I could. Stay away !

This place has to got to be the worst medical practice in the world, I would rather go to mail Jackson ER and wait 12hrs then be seen by their physician and nurse staff. Their extremely rude and acts as if their doing you a free favor. The Jamaican nurse has absolutely none whatsoever experience in bedside manners EVER! while sitting in the back waiting for the doctor to come speak with me regarding my issue I heard the staff speaking about myself and they seem pretty irritated by me. I would never visit this clinic again it’s extremely unprofessional medical clinic. The front desk clerks are always pleasant.

Great customer service, very clean, amazing experience by professional people. I highly recommend MD Now. I had an x-ray, got my results right away and was given a prescription. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other urgent care centers such as Baptist or Memorial Urgent Care centers which will charge you triple. The next day received a call asking how I was feeling. By far it was the BEST experience I've had in many years. GREAT JOB MD Now Urgent Care Center!!! Definitely will recommend to friends and family and will return when needed.

From the front desk lady Erica, to the nurse Eddie (bday twin 07/16), and to the doctor Mia Heart… everyone was absolutely kind, caring, and understanding. I felt like they actually cared about me. I pray I wont need to but if I am feeling sick again, I would 100% come back here! Lovely team. Plus Eddie was very cute <3

Went today for a laceration above my eye that required stitches. Dr. Leaven has a negative attitude and looked annoyed at the fact he was going to have to apply stitches to my wound. They also sent me home without instructions about how to care for the stitches. Update I sent an email with my contact information. I would rather discuss details of my visit over the phone.

I've been to this facility before & returned because I had good experiences. Today changed my mind. The women at the front desk were rude. They refused to acknowledge patients. Refused to answer questions. As I was asking a question, one lady turned and loudly started a conversation with another, effectively cutting off my inquiry. They talked openly & rudely about patients, in front of other patients. Refused to even find me a different location that had an x-ray tech on site. They just told me not to worry, west pines has one...then didn't bother to give me the address for the west pines location. That location is far away from my home and, as it turned out, doesn't have a working x-ray machine. I drove all the way there & had to turn around & drive back across town. Luckily, the staff at west pines was pleasant & helpful. They called around & found another location with a working x ray machine & tech. The staff at the plantation office was also pleasant.

Today was Quick and easy but in the past I realized diagnoses aren’t handled properly and incorrect medications are given at times. If it’s some mild then go here. Any major concerns do not. The office is cute but they never seem to have any medical supplies.

I had the WORST experience of my life at this clinic. From the wait times to the non-communication unless the patient asks, I would not recommend this place. I went for a follow-up and from not having acting like they couldn't find the x-ray results to the office staff talking about patients, this experience made me not want to even finish my treatment process with MD Now. Very incompetent staff.

Horrible experience !! I went for a complaint , the so called doctor run the test for bacterial infection which came back all negative . The swab test was also negative which did not turn blue or anything. With my symptoms she suspected it is BV and prescribed for antibiotic for 7 days(500mg metro 3 times a day) … on 2nd I developed adverse symptoms and by day 4 I can’t take it anymore and went back. She advised me to stop. It is been a month and I am going through horrible symptoms since the antibiotic messed up my gut completely. She did prescribe it unnecessarily even without properly examining if I really had the bacterial infection!! Worst scary experience !! Regret the day I went in here . Worst urgent care … I ended up in the ER the following week because of the side effects was on full swing. DON’T PRESCRIBE ANTIBIOTIC with out proper diagnosis !

  • 1/5 Ruth C. 4 months ago on Google
ALERT this is THE WORST PLACE you can go into for urgent care! Yesterday afternoon l came for treatment for a strong bacteria in my throat, with fever and a lot of inflammation. They prescribed me an antibiotic that when I got to the pharmacy, on record said that I was allergic. At that time this MD urgent care was already closed. I had to spent the night enduring fever and pain. First thing this morning, I spoke to a nurse, I explained what happened, she told me that they would make the change and the pharmacy will call me but that never happened. At 3 pm in the afternoon, I went straight to the pharmacy and they NEVER received the change of antibiotic. I called this center from there and as expected, no one took responsibility, but they told me AGAIN that they would make the change, that I should wait a moment and they put me on HOLD. I waited there for more than 15 minutes and it was still on hold. I left the pharmacy and decided to drive to this center again, it took me another 15 minutes and I WAS STILL ON HOLD. And of course, when I complained about this, the same receptionist who took my call justified herself by saying that they had to ask me what I'm allergic to, but for leaving me on hold for so long and for everything that happened, she wasn't even able to offer me an apology. She ended by simply saying that she already spoke to the pharmacy and I will have to wait another 15 to 30 minutes. I wonder what would have happened if my fever had increased last night? Or if it had been my daughter who needed that antibiotic? The MEDIOCRITY of the customer service they have is outrageous. As if they didn't know that those types of mistakes can mean the life or death of a person. IF YOU CAN AVOID GETTING TO THIS PLACE, DO IT!!!!

I went to this office twice and was misdiagnosed. Whether you’re calling or coming in to be treated these people will tell you anything to get you out the door or off the phone. I reached out to the office requesting to speak with the office manager Theo and was told he will give me a call in 5 min. Hours passed and no call. I reached out again and the woman who answered the phone explained “they have patients to take care of” I explained to her that’s exactly why I’m calling. if there are doctors there that are misdiagnosing patients I would think that’s a high level of concern.Taking people’s money and pushing them out with whatever diagnosis, with little to no regard for the patient and their health. The doctor that helped me did NOT listen to me and all the symptoms I was experiencing which lead to the misdiagnosis. All in all this place should be closed for business. If you aren’t going to do your due diligence as a Doctor you’re putting many patients lives at risk and this is something the establishment cares nothing about. I really tried to avoid leaving a review and allowing the Business a chance to handle this in house. However each time I reached out I was put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time until I hung up and no one reached back out. I would strongly recommend not to go here for treatment. You’re better off going somewhere like Baptist urgent care or Memorial with more experienced and knowledgeable doctors who genuinely care about the patients and their well beings. And no I don’t need need a generic sorry response asking me the patient to reach out to you in regards to my experience. You didn’t care then and you don’t care now.

The person at the front desk wasn’t the most pleasant. Then when I went to pay my co-payment with cash (not with big bills), she didn’t have change so told me I need to go get change or she can round my balance up. I’m not one for giving extra money to institutions, regardless of the amount, especially when I’m being told what to do as a customer, as opposed to being asked. Therefore, I left, a bit annoyed and disappointed.

The front desk lady and the medical assistant were extremely nice. The PA that I saw was very unprofessional she needs to learn courtesy and bedside manners. She entered the room without introducing herself spoke with me on the way out the door with her back turned to me I asked,… excuse me are you the doctor?, she replied over her shoulder “PA””and kept going.

My appointment was 1245 I got called in the room got my vitals done and was told to have a seat in another room and the dr will be with me shortly.i waited 1 hour before I asked when will I be seen by the dr.i was told that it’s only one dr waiting and I have two other patient in front of me and I will be seen in the order I came into the room. I would never return back to this place their attitude and customer service is really bad. A big place like this and u only have one dr working 🤦‍♀️... never again

Went in with an appointment for 815 and wasn’t see until 840. Then it took until 915 to see the doctor. So unprofessional!! I got a prescription for something I never had symptoms of!?!? How is this possible!?

The workers care more about discussing vacation plans n days off rather than helping the ppl who are sick n need medical attention. Customer service is one thing but especially when people are sick n need care it’s more than annoying to have to deal with this. I told her i wasn’t paying for this kind of treatment, left and and went to the hospital. Will not come back.

Staff was pleasant, waiting time was great but family nurse practitioner!!!!!!!!......... if she was with us for 4 mins was toooooooooo long. It's sad to see that the health in this country has become a business and not care.

I called them at 730pm and asked to come in and the person answering the phone said I needed to be there at 730 in order to get treated because they close at 8pm. I looked online and they had an appointment available for 745 pm. I called back to see if I could take that appointment and I was asked what was the medical issue I was having and I told them very high blood sugar so then I was lied to and told that MDNow does not carry insulin. I know they have insulin but the people there at MDNow have no ethics and only care about leaving their job early, so much so that they have no problem lying to their patients.

Wow let’s be honest. Urgent Care must have high standards starting from the reception to the entire establishment. Staff and cleanliness. Who wears jeans at work and it’s not a casual Friday yet alone in a medical facility!!!! I thought while working in a medical facility one should wear proper attire #scrubs with a name tag. Very unprofessional. I had to take a urine sample, the first bathroom was dirty and the second one was okay and I was supposed to leave the cup in a window but yet another cup was there... #nightmare. Looks like The young lady at the reception could have been more festive a little nicer that’s all I am saying. While in triage a young lady just opened the door without knocking. 😳 I couldn’t believe it. (She did apologize but if I was naked lol) all I am saying this coulda shoulda been nicer, cleaner and a tab bit more organized. Not sure if I will return. What won me over Dr. Sanchez hé was human caring 👍🏽 he won me over despite everything else. He really took the time to talk with me check everything. I was really satisfied.

(Translated by Google) I went to the Diagnosis center, and I could observe that many of the patients, in the waiting room, took off their masks to speak on the phone, without anyone calling their attention, on the other hand I also saw a person who by his clothing I was a doctor or nurse with the mask covering only the mouth, this is really worrying.

I went here recently for a uti, I arrived at 8:00, was one of three other patients. I literally waited 15 minutes to be seen. ( culture taken immediately). ( which is shorter than offices where I have an appointment). I found the doctor to be very informative and professional. He explained everything to me and answered my questions. 24 hours later, my symptoms have cleared up.

The wait is horrible even to just get a PPD read 🙄. I been here twice both times I have waited over 2 hours. I don’t recommend.

Got there at 10:20am on a Friday and waited almost 4 hours to see the doctor. Never waited for any doctor even close to that long. Staff is doing the best they can and Dr. Magee was extremely nice, caring and wrote a few scripts for my issue. THEY NEED A 2ND DOCTOR for this office.

😠 After not feeling well, I decided to take my husbands recommendation and come to this location to get checked out. He has been here once prior and had a great experience.
