I met a friend here for brunch and my God, what a magnificent place! From the tranquility, yummy food, great drinks, to excellent service, this place has it all! The waitress was very helpful, friendly, and had great recommendations. For drinks, I had a watermelon mimosa and a blueberry lemon mule. For appetizer, we shared a Baked Brie (so gooood). And I had to take my Champagne Chicken Salad to go. I will definitely be back soon for more mimosas and walks around the gorgeous garden! I do wish they were open a bit later but I understand why this must stay as an exclusive hidden gem to us locals!

Yum! Not too heavy or light. Pensacola has so many choice places to eat...wow. It would be hard to choose a favorite. We try to eat at a different place wherever we are away from the interstate. Hold on a sec... train going by. What a nice touch. We ordered the muffalatta with fruit and grilled pimento and cheese (has bits of jalapeno pepper for a little kick). Yum! Grilled pimento was a larger sandwich than I was expecting (very filling, glad I got the fruit). Fruit comes with poppy seed dressing... yes! Oh... we ordered the bread pudding too. One with the amaretto sauce and one with the whisky sauce. Smooth! Oh my. Has a light sprinkle of coconut flakes toasted into it. Glad I had the coffee. So good. Thanks to Quarte' for fine service. If you're in south Pensacola and haven't tried Jo's... it's worth the trip.

Have always enjoyed eating at Jo’s however was a bit perplexed by the purchase today. Ordered the salad sampler, the chicken salad was great, the tuna salad was salty and the egg salad was ok. Poppyseed bread was good however my fruit had mold on it. Since this was a “to go” order no sense in driving it back.

I found my favorite new cafe. I've lived here 5 years and thought this place was too fru fru. The servers are super sweet and the menu is very affordable. I can tell they put a lot of effort into the menu selection, pricing, combinations, and mixed with affordability and value. But it looks super fancy. My wife and I really like our server Onno (sp) and she plahed some really good music just for us as the place filled up fast for lunch. The menu has great and original sandwich selections with in-house spreads and sauces. Most if not everything is homemade from what I can tell. I never had Orzo and they had a chicken Orzo soup that was awesome. Our sandwich was a cold muffeletta and it was served on french bread. Not typical, but good none the less. We also had fruit with our meal and dessert for $1 more which I thought was very clever combination on the menu. They do have a great selection of seafood and traditional american fare. All I can say is the menu is fantastic. I really liked this place (can u tell?). The overall ambiance is that of tuscan bohemian i guess. But whatever it is, I could chill there all day. We sat outside and it was a perfect 72 degrees. I took a bunch of pics but can't find them now, but when I do, I will post them. We'll definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

Great little cafe type restaurant! Their amaretto bread pudding is amazing, and this is coming from someone who isn't really a fan of bread pudding. They basically force you to get a serving, because it's only $1 extra with a meal. Also, their coffee is really good! Their sandwich meals come with either fruit, or chips and a pickle. This was something that the menu wasn't very clear about. We thought you'd get a pickle either way, but if you choose fruit then you don't get a pickle. A little disappointing.

This place is really nice. Great ambiance. I was a little disappointed in the food though. I’d go back for drinks for sure. Great sweet tea!

Ultimately, I was put down and treated disrespectfully, when all I had intended to do was bring Jo more business through a work meeting. I regret to say that if I ever do return, it will not be soon. This can be fixed, but that depends on Jo. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this needs to be said. The food and ambiance are excellent. The staff are usually quite friendly. In general, I’ve always had a very pleasant experience, with my only complaints being the limited hours and not displaying their opening time at the entrance. Regretfully, today was different. I knew I would have a meeting at noon, and decided to work on my computer until that meeting, which I have done in the past. I had a lunch meeting scheduled at noon, and decided to work on my computer, in the corner at a small table, until our appointed time. I’ve done this on multiple occasions and never had any issue. This time, I had a business call, which I was on, while waiting for my meeting. However, the person who was meeting me was delayed by about 45 minutes, due to a work situation, on his end. I often work remotely and in coffee shops or cafes, and always make a point not to be in a restaurant when they are busy. That would be rude and I’m very conscientious about this. I even discussed this with the management of Jo’s, when I first discovered them. Today, there were open tables up until noon. Guests could be seated. But the person I was meeting was delayed. So, I continued on my phone call. Over the next 20 minutes or so it did get busy, but there was nothing I could do, since my meeting was delayed but would arrive shortly. Then, Jo herself, who had been very friendly at the beginning of the day, approached me. She interrupted my call and made a point that I was causing her to turn away guests because I was inconsiderately hogging a table during prime lunch-time. I told her I understood and was sorry, but that I was waiting for someone who was supposed to have met me at noon, and that he was unavoidably delayed, but would be arriving shorting [which he did]. Rather than saying “oh, okay. I understand, sorry for interrupting your call, and I hope you enjoy your meal” she continued to stress that I was causing her to turn away a lot of business. I assured her I understood, and she seemed somewhat appeased but still unhappy with me. I understand from her perspective, she may have assumed I only intended to work at her restaurant all day and only get coffee. Though if she had asked the waitress, or listened to me, she would have known my intensions were good. The truth is that she may have missed out on having one more party sit down, because of my delayed lunch meeting. But it was only a two-topper, and it didn’t truly get busy until around 12:20. What disappoints me the most is how poorly she thinks of me, when the reality is that I’m not rude and that while she may have lost $40 because of the situation, I have personally brought her significantly more business than she lost today. But that stops as of today. However, the way she treated me, and making me feel as though I’m unwanted and rude, and trying to make me feel bad, without understanding my perspective or that it was a situation outside my control, that hurt. Even the person on my call heard it, which was embarrassing. I think there were a combination of factors that led to her interrupting and belittling me. In most situations I would say this is an amazing place. But unfortunately I am very disappointed with my experience today and even more disappointed when I realized it was Jo who treated me this way. I understand where she was coming from, but she didn’t take the time to understand the situation was outside my control, or to realize that I always make a point NOT to be rude in the way she clearly made me out to be. She didn’t apologize for interrupting my call, or apologize when she saw that I did indeed have someone join me a few minutes later. Nor did she even acknowledge it.

I took the girls out for some shopping at one of our favorite places, Duh. Jo's is a small place located there. This is def not a sports bar but rather more a "ladies" lunch spot. They do have some good light foods but dont go looking for buffalo wings or burgers. Soups, Salads, sandwiches are good. Scenery is very nice. Shady outdoor dining area. Good Service and clean restrooms. They have some drinks in the menu but I do not think they have a full bar. Wine, Beer, Champagne. We will definitely be going back. UrbanCowgill February 2023

This was my first time coming here. Very quaint atmosphere. Very clean which is important. Great food. I had the chicken, bacon, lettuce wrap with ranch dressing. Definitely not store bought dressing. I picked the fruit instead of chips. I think the chips are in individual bags but not sure. The fruit was ripe and fresh. Strawberries, blueberries, melon and grapes. I was there with 8 people and everyone loved their food. Soda is served by the can and is poured for you. I am not a bread pudding person but everyone else in my party got that. Bread pudding with a lemon whiskey sauce. This is evidently a years old tradition and is made the same way. Prices are reasonable. My only cons were that there was no real sign out front and was hard to find. When you see the sign for "Duh" turn there. Also the back area we were is was somewhat loud just due to acoustics. Will definitely go back.

Jo’s is a favorite lunch spot to frequent in Pensacola! The soup of the day is always delicious paired with the chicken salad sandwich. And the whiskey bread pudding is the best! Jo and her staff are always friendly and prompt. This place couldn’t get any better if they tried.

I absolutely LOVED my visit to this place. The environment was so lovely and inviting. All of the staff were super accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the variety of food available and the attention to detail. We especially enjoyed the bread pudding, strawberry shortcake, and creamy chicken veggie soup. It was super yummy and plated beautifully. This was my first experience and was treated and felt like a regular. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area guaranteed! 12/10 recommend. 🩷

Pretty resturant good service. I had the Reuben sandwich it was very poor quality. Inexpensive meat a slice of each the slaw was microscopic no taste, bread was fresh. Gumbo was tasty but watered down. Not sure what happened to there food. Bread pudding and fruit were still good.
