Out of two visits, I regret BOTH. First visit, our Chicken Alfredo was ice cold when it was delivered, and the pasta was too chewy to eat. We sent it back, only to have it brought out to us in much the same condition. My husband's burger was so thin, it was charcoal along the edges and dry as could be inside. Fast forward to tonight. Mother-in-law telephoned in our order for take out going to have a better experience. Not by a long shot! Ordering from the online menu, she specifically ordered 3- 6oz Steak Frites, all Medium Rare, priced at roughly $30 per meal, as well as a side of Spinach and 3 cheese dip. For some unknown reason, they charged us for 3-6 oz Filet Fries, price $46.75. The dip was priced at $17.75. We received, three orders of steak which were black on the outside, and COLD. The "dip" wasn't even half full, and all three orders of SHOESTRING frites (fries) were also cold. So for$163.74, we received food that was inedible, and miniscule. WE WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO EARL'S IN PENTICTON, BC. I can only pray that other folks see this and don't waste their time or money at this awful excuse for an upscale restaurant. It is little more than a diner with outrageous prices.

Stopped by for happy hour to feed the kids and have a mid afternoon bite before heading back out to the activities of the day! Food is small portion but tastes great. Consistency is Earl’s recipe and they follow it!

Wonderful service, always great food. I think it would be nice if the lounge and the restaurant were more separated. When I go out I like to feel like I'm going out somewhere special, adults only, not just a family restaurant. There was also no fruit served in the sangria (which is usually served at other locations) and it tasted like there was more fruit juice than alcohol.

Friendly and very attentive front of the house staff. The salad I had could have been cooler flavour was ok. There veggie burger 🍔 lacked flavour in all I was satisfied with this location and would recommend it in Penticton.

Good happy hour selection! Liked steak frites and crab cake a lot! Wish drinks were better tho. Did not taste much of anything.

My family and I ate at Earl's last night and were so impressed and pleased with our amazing server, Bobby. He made our experience fun and heart-warming with his magnetic personality and great sense of humor. We had just come from a celebration of life earlier that day which he would have had no way of knowing about. But his excellent service really made our night and gave us a lot to smile and laugh about! Ask for Bobby next time you eat at this location :) You won't be disappointed.

We sat in the cozy Christmas patio with a fuzzy blanket and a toasty heater. Our server, CHRISTINA, was exceptional. I think she had fun with us. The food was great, we had tataki steak and prawn tortellini, followed by BIRTHDAY cheesecake. It was an absolutely superb experience!

I’m a pretty loyal Earls customer. They do what they do well, but there’s always going to be some visits better than others. This time was not one of those. I will say the staff were lovely to a person. And the service was pretty good (bar maybe a forgotten request for pepper) but the Benny, a brunch staple, was very disappointing. Very over done, the hollandaise was cold, the avocado was almost black. The fried potatoes were the saving grace. My co-diners enjoyed their tacos and earls breakfast though their sunny sides up were likewise cooked to a solidness that makes eggs sad imo. Coffee was hot and the Caesar was superb. Space is lovely a bright. Overall, a mixed bag

Earls Winter Wonder Lounge was the perfect place for Boxing Day dinner. The food was delicious esp the applies and the atmosphere was so festive. Heaters kept us warm and toasty. Our family out town guests were very impressed.

I came to Earls for lunch while visiting from out of town. I was blown away by the great atmosphere of this location. The Winter Wonder Lounge had such a great ambiance which was made even better by my waiter Jordan’s prompt and thoughtful service. Having a dietary restriction is never easy, but I was able to enjoy my meal without worrying. Can’t recommend this location enough, great place with amazing service!!

The service is great, we always feel welcomed when we walk in and are seated right away. The food is phenomenal, love the patio space, and great prices too. We’ve tried dinner and brunch and had a good experience both times.

We ate at Earls Penticton last Friday. Our first time at this location. We ordered a Poke bowl, Pulled Chicken club and a soup. The service was fairly quick, we had our drink and food orders in shortly after we arrived. This location didn’t seem like classic Earl’s to me. The decor seemed like leftovers from whatever restaurant it used to be. When I think of Earl’s, I think of modern furniture, black chairs etc. The furniture at this location seemed more like a classic brunch diner, and by classic I mean dated. There were low green fabric chairs. The food looked and tasted great. My Pulled chicken club wasn’t perfect. Its grilled toast was quite greasy, and it was quite expensive for what I got. It was tasty, I wouldn’t order it again though. I believe everyone else was satisfied with their drinks and food. An issue I had, but did not correct, was some black specs in my water glass. Since I ordered beer, I just didn’t drink my water. Our server was friendly, but not overly attentive and seemed fairly busy. It took a little bit to see him and signal we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, this visit to Earls was good, but I wouldn’t hurry back to this location, as nothing wowed me. 3.5 stars would be most accurate.

We have been coming to this earls for 20 years and had the best service ever tonight! Our server Bobby was attentive, fun, and personable! He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. We had some substations and he made sure everything came out right. He also gave great ideas about local attractions for us to check out. Thank you Bobby for a great night - you made our experience with Earls extra special!

It’s a bit of hit and miss with this location, and it may vary from visit to visit. I’m afraid my experience of the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I dined in a few weeks ago, and the food was pretty good, but my truffle ravioli was bland. I asked for salt and pepper, which was given with a smile, but the shakers felt greasy. The restrooms look very nice and modern, but they have these weird square-shaped toilet seats that are a bit difficult to navigate for a shorter person (or children, I imagine). No wonder when I opened the door to one of the stalls (which are enclosed rooms), I was blasted with a very strong smell of urine, a hint of which stayed with me throughout the meal (it was that strong), though I used a different stall than the smelly one. They need to just install normal toilets. The atmosphere of the dining room is lovely, open and bright, but the impression of poor sanitation made it difficult to fully appreciate. The next time I tried it, I placed an order through a delivery app. This time the food was superb and was packed with care. No complaints. Unfortunately this is an extra-expensive way to order.

We showed up with a group of hockey players and parents with no reservation. They fit us in very promptly and the customer service was outstanding. The meals came out in a very timely order. I tip my hat to the servers, hostess and management at this location.

We arrived on Saturday Dec 10TH to be on the closed in heated patio which was nice. However when I had made the reservation 2weeks prior I had specified I wanted a location away from traffic as it was our staff Christmas party and we wanted to be able to visit. Our table was next to the bar where the staff placed and picked up orders and guests waited to be seated and there wasn’t anyplace else to move to as the inside of the main restaurant was full with a private Christmas party. We were seated and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before our drink order was taken and the waitress apologized to start that she was new and English was not her first language. There was a problem getting the drinks we wanted as slush machine was broken. We waited a further 15 minutes to get drinks and mine was forgotten and came 10 minutes later. We got an apology for lateness and our first drinks were comped . This complete neglect continued for the order of appetizers and then my meal wasn’t even ordered. So I waited 10 minutes for a tasteless dry salmon meal. More apologies and comped my meal . Then comped two desserts by a manager. Even though our waitress was apologizing we were again ignored for a long time and had to look for her to get bill! We have been earls customer for 40 years and this was such a disappointment that we may never go back. We all look so forward to this get together with a good meal and it was such a disaster.

I love their early happy hour menu, 3-5 pm daily. They just added new items to that menu. Also big fan of their weekend brunch. Their recent reno's look great. Light and airy feeling now. Much better than the black ceilings.

Unlike other Earls branches, this one looks so fresh, new and full of light! The food was nice, service was too and didn’t take us a long time to get seated.
