We stumbled over this restaurant on our first evening where we were told they cannot handle more guests. We took that as a positive sign and decided to reserve for the next day. The staff is very friendly, smiling and making sure the guests feel welcome. The food is nicely prepared and presented and the drinks menu well accompanies the various food choices. We Will definetly come back to enjoy the lovely food and nice athmosphere with Oceanview.

The service was very nice and I had no complaint until the food came. My order was a sauté St Jacque and Gambas, which was supposed to be big shrimps, so I thought happily. I was disappointed to find the plate with tiny little shrimps and only about 4-5 St Jacques. I believe if you are running our of one of your main ingredients, please inform customer of your replacement and ask if they are still ok with it. I don't say the food is bad, but it is not what I was expecting. Plus, please turn the heater on the covered terrace is it gets biting cold after sunset.

Avis in ENGLISH: Fantastic warm welcome from the staff. Had 'fish and chips', I know so British : ) I can 100% recommend the 'cafe gourmand'. Great service, great food and great price. What more do you need?

Good food, friendly staff. It was busy but waiters could find a place for us.

Despite my lack of ability to cummunicate in the French or Breton language, I promptly received a perfectly chilled bottle of white wine that was a wonderful selection to accompany the double decker platter of generous variety of local delicacies from the La Manche sea, so close that we can feel the breeze and smell the distinct fragrance of the rolling tides. While my companions enjoyed their various aperitifs we made our dining decisions: for the two beautiful youngsters it was unanimously "Fish and Chips"; for the two wife/mothers it was local beef and for the two males of the group it was an exotic Tuna Poki. Our evening dining experience at Le Kenavo not only was a most satisfying experience but one that I would recommend to be included to complete your cultural experience while in Britany.

A nice restaurant just in front of the sea. Ask for table with the beach view. Staff a bit confused but recovered quickly from initial impasse on scanning vax pass. We shared all tapas (entries) and all main dishes of the menu. Best in my opinion the poêle des st Jacques with superb sauce and les accras de morue. Good Ice cream home made at the end

First visit, will not be the last. Fabulous location, staff friendly and helpful. The Moules Breton were the best we've ever had and the honey and goats cheese salad was superb. Overall the best seaside restaurant we have ever been to. Not expensive and great value for money.
