Номер уютный, с изящным балконом, место тихое, все в номере есть, завтрак включен. При чем мы уезжали ранее 7 ч, нам завтрак был оформлен с собой, кстати очень вкусный! Приедем ещё, обязательно вернёмся в этот отель.

In these days many foreigners are in Penza to enjoy Russian hospitality during the Football World Championship ⚽. 99% of them don't know local habits and prices and don't speak a word of Russian other than "спасибо"☺. It is very unpleasant to see how those guests are shamelessly overcharged even without a smile. The hotel staff hardly speaks English, but this price table was carefully prepared bi-lingual in Russian language and "Google-English" - at least one feels as if it was designed to squeeze the most out those foreigners. The standard local price to go by taxi across the city is anything between 150-250 Rubel. Here they charge 2.200 Rubel for a 10 minutes ride to the closeby train station. This is a remarkable 1000% mark-up! All things considered the hotel is a good example for the current situation in Russia: the rooms (i.e the hardware) are very good, clean and quiet (that's the reason for the three stars). But when it comes down to service and service attitude, problems start. For me it was, and such it will stay to be in future, an emergency stay as all other hotels in Penza were fully booked.
