Complements to the chef for the fantastic vegan curry & fresh salad! Hoping to see more vegan dishes on your menu soon. 🤞 Loved the live music entertainment on Sunday night. Service was a little slow, but friendly & helpful.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Mauritius. The food is fresh and very authentic. Service is prompt. There’s a singer present during day time (that’s a bonus) and he has a great voice. I ordered the octopus dish and my friend ordered the seafood curry. The entree of seafood salad with passion fruit vinaigrette was so delicious! We will definitely be back!

It wasn't just dining, it was an experience. From the moment we were seated, we were well looked after, the food was beyond amazing, not one bad bite! The atmosphere was incredible including the entertainer who enhanced it even further..Whilst every staff member was fantastic, I do have to special mention Joan who went above and beyond to make our night incredible...I highly recommend La Kaza as must if you are looking for a wonderful night of food, fun and laughter in Mauritius

This was our best meal so far. Seafood gratin is to die for!!!! We are definitely coming back at least a few more times! The people working there are super charming and polite. The service was fast, and in the end, we got a shot of homemade rum. Parking was easy to find in the street just around the corner from the restaurant.

I really enjoyed this place. There was a live singer on the night that we visited and he really brought the vibes! Food was delicious and service was good. I had the seafood curry which was good. My husband had the chicken curry which he also enjoyed. I recommend the blue marlin salad as a starter- simply fantastic.

Great restaurant! we had a lovely meal. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, we ordered cocktails off the menu and the bartender told us the history on a variation of the Mai tai we ordered! The guys who waited our table were very sweet and checked throughout our meal to see if the drinks and food were ok. Food was yummy and nice to try some creole dishes for the first time. We had crab soup, and then shared the seafood curry and fish fillet, which were all really tasty and we chose the creole sauce. Would definitely recommend this place and prices were reasonable!

Omg. This place is a gem. The big red snapper is an absolute must try, along with their chicken and prawn curry. This meal was something we will remember a life time. 🍛😍 Simply Uncomparable. The vibe too is really amazing and livley, all the other joints along the same vicinity don't compare. We kept coming back here shamelessly 💯 They have live music which is magical and made me my signature travel drink even though it wasn't on the menu. All the staff was so friendly 🤗 They do humbly ask you to make a pre-booking if u can so that they have enough serting and the cook knows. We wish this restaurant all the best and hope it grows more beautiful.

Lovely dinner for my husband’s birthday! I messaged them a day before and they organised a cake with candles and everyone sang happy birthday! Live music, fresh seafood, all in all a perfect night! Thank you guys! 💙

We had the pleasure of lunch at La Kaza today, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the warm and welcoming staff to the beautifully prepared cuisine, every aspect of the restaurant was top-notch. I start with the Gratin du Lagon, which was simply stunning. The dish was filled with rich and savory flavors that perfectly complemented the seafood. The Seafood Curry was a masterpiece of culinary artistry. The curry was fragrant, packed with spices, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. But that wasn't the best part of the meal. The bartender at La Kaza is an absolute genius. The mojitos that he made for us were out of this world. The perfect blend of lime and mint, with a generous helping of rum, made for one of the best drinks I've had in years. All in all, La Kaza exceeded my expectations in every way. From the ambiance to the service, the food, and the drinks, this restaurant is truly a gem. I can highly recommend La Kaza to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in the beautiful country of Mauritius.

Impeccable service and exquisite food, cooked to perfection. Beautiful location - right across the road from the bay. Clean and modern decor. Reasonable prices. Will return before our holiday is over.

I enjoyed this place tremendously. The live musician was very talented but not too loud or distracting as it sometimes can be with live music during dinner. The crab soup lacked a little bit of flavour but it was more than made up for by the main course. We shared a 2.2 KG red snapper between the 3 of us. It was very fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. I enjoyed every last bite and by the end was craving more, not because I wasn't full (I definitely was) but because it was just that delicious. A must-visit restaurant.

Awesome food, especially the octopus and every other dish with fish. We had dinner and they were having a live music session that was very nice. The service was a little bit slow, but maybe because is the weekend.

The food was good! We ordered the catch of the day (tuna) and Red Snapper as main dish. We had a Seafood Gratin as starter and it was so delicious! Highly recommend this Seafood gratin. However, the service is quite slow (at least for our table). We waited for more than 50mins just to get our starters while the restaurant was not even full. Moreover, we had a small disappointment at the end. One of the waiters came to us and told us that they will offer us an "arranged rum" on the house. However, to our disappointment, we waited for it but never received any and had to leave.... Lastly, If you are going in your car, you will have parking issues. I hope to have a better service next time...

All good nothing outstanding, large portions but food and especially wine seem very pricey compared to South African prices. Wanted red snapper which they had on show but given some tame excuse about having to order a whole one...not cool. We reserved a table but when we arrived ( on time) they'd given it away.!!

Horrible service from the taller lady waitress who had such a grumpy face. Just because of her mood we haven’t been able to fully enjoy the good food. If you are in a good mood and want to have a great evening, better go somewhere else 👍 Other waiters were also slow (restaurant was not full), but other than this they were ok. Food is good. Also, when I called to book, they didn’t answer the phone.

We went to this restaurant based on the google reviews and it didn't disappoint! The food was super fresh and came out in no time. Would recommend to get there early if you don't have a booking. Nice tables with a view of the bay.

It was not good experience. They don't have baby chairs and the tables are broken. It is dangerous for children and adults also. But the worst thing was the waiting time. They didn't warn us that it will be so long. We come at 13:40, and at 15:10 o'clock we get our food🤯 Food looks nice, but not tasty. Crabs were dry, and prawns were spicy. Only chicken for child was really tasty. And also red fish was good. There were a lot of flies, but they bring us helicopter. It was very hot and they don't have fan. The staff was friendly.

Visited your seafood paradise and every dish was a celebration of the ocean's bounty! The seafood soup, crab soup, and caridean shrimp showcased the chef's mastery of flavors. The fish fillet was a sublime journey through freshness and finesse, and the flaming banana dessert was the sweet finale we didn't know we needed. Special shoutout to the friendly staff who not only served with expertise but also added a sprinkle of warmth to our dining experience. An unforgettable culinary expedition🔥!

👍 A fine-looking restaurant, made to feel welcome immediately, if a bit slightly dark. But I suppose that adds to the ambience, right? Straight to the starters where we had some fresh bread rolls, calamar crouistillant, jalapeno peppers and prawns. With exception to the prawns, which didn’t seem to...
