We stayed for 2 nights, room 3 and 4. These are rooms at the ground floor and next to the breakfast area. At 7am we could already hear chatting/laughing/screaming and dog barking as rooms are poorly insulated (FYI the dog is from the hotel which is not specified anywhere). The second night, we tried to close the door in the corridor that separates the breakfast room from our rooms entrance, but in the morning someone opened it again. We went out for dinner both nights, came back in the evening (midnight) and there was only cold water to shower with (apparently the hotel management shut the hotel boiler at night). There is a weird smell of poorly cleaned drains around the hotel, indeed we could not sleep with windows open as the smell was too strong (there is AC in the rooms, but we usually don’t use it to sleep). Other than that, the rooms are discretely cleaned and the outdoor/garden is really nice.

Very dangerous place! Watch out - angry hornets (outside and inside rooms)! Uwaga bardzo niebiezpieczny obiekt! Groźne, atakujące szerszenie na tarasie i w pokojach! Achtung! Die Hornissen sind in die Zimmers und am die Tarrasse. Gefahr fuer Menschen und Kinder! There is a huge problem with the dangerous hornets which are atacking guests outside (on the tarrasse) and inside (rooms and bathroom). The personnel was very rude and not willing to solve the problem or help us. When I asked for the solution they sudenly stoped to understand English. The situation has reapated couple of times and they recommendation was not to use lights. Rooms are very small and the walls as well as the floor-covering are old. The location is also dissatisfying. It is neither in countryside nor in town. Simply in the middle of industrial district.

A great place to stay for a night, week or even more. Quiet, romantic, pleasant. If we have the chance, we would visit it again in the future

We returned to the hotel the Hermitage again, and for the umpteenth time we found ourselves very well. It is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Pernes les Fontaines, in a wooded park; we were able to use the swimming pool, the parking space in the structure. The room was spacious and bright. The owners and staff have always been very kind to us. This time a special bonus for the chance to dine in the park with high quality products chosen by Philippe. Thanks to Nathalie and the Delahousse gentlemen.

It has been 10 years that i was in Pernes les Fontaines. It is the first time in hotel l'Hermitage.. where can i start.. hotel is close to a busy road but on the dimain you could not tell it is . The hotel is close to perfection, peace and quiet, very nice rooms, aircon, clean bathrooms, very nice breakfast , super friendly people. I van go on and on however I can not say anything that is not positive. Do not expect a hotel or business hotel , expect familial environment , and you will be extremely satisfied! I would recommend this anytime! And we will return !

Some people are just not suited to working in the hotel business... and however good the property, it can never compensate for poor and unwelcoming service. Sadly that applies to L'Hermitage where it seemed everything was too much trouble - from providing ice cubes on roasting hot days to replacing dirty towels. Most discomforting was the 140cm wide "double bed" which we had to take or leave, consequently having a very poor night's sleep in the middle of our cycling holiday. Perhaps the attitude was so poor because the cycling company had block booked and paid no doubt ahead of time? No evening meals are provided on-site, and no help was given as we struggled up a flight of stairs with our suitcases. There is massive potential in this beautiful property but it and its guests need love and passion, not the demeanor of private security guards. This was in stark contrast to the high-quality service in the other nearby hotels on our trip (Hotel Montmirail, Chateau de Mazan).

Lovely place for your summer vacation in Provence. It was sad that we could only stay a night. Staff members are so friendly, kind and professional. receptionist will always give the warm welcome and best service. The room we stayed, there is just no question. It was lovely and calm with cute old french style windows looking down the garden of the house. unlike other hotel-like accomodations, it felt like home staying in grandmother's house. that's the part that we loved this place most. so much great experiences and memories for only a night. thank you for giving us such a great vacation.
