The restaurant : After reading the reviews I had great expectations...The courtyard setting is truly idillyc but the service was well below par...the food is good but far from exceptional...and if you have special dietary requirements you are left with so few options...My personal experience was negative. I have celiac disease and I had to request the "allergy" menu four times...Their €32 lunch menu does not even include a starter without gluten! They obviously do not want to cater for people with food allergies...too much trouble...so long, you won't be seeing me again anytime soon!

Boutique hotel, old family villa turned into hotel, with beautifully decorated rooms, great design of the common place and beautifully colorful art pieces. I also had light dinner - tasty food and kind service. Oh, and parking next to hotel is free if you find the right spot (white parking spots).

The restaurant is a misunderstanding, given the great variety of outstanding restaurants in the region. The food is below average. The kitchen tries to follow a trendy french cuisine, but lacks skills to create a pleasant treat. Taste is not worth the money, making this below average food really overpriced. The staff is not trained. The good side is a beautiful courtyard, but many mosquitoes and tasteless food made the time in it unpleasant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We stayed from the 14th to the 15th of July, found this place by chance as we prefer smaller hotels with good restaurants. We were very lucky! This place got seven rooms, each individually decorated. It is charming, the rooms impeccable and spacious, also the bathroom. The dinner at the terrasse outside: Just wonderful. The quality of the food excellent. I can recomend this place unconditionaly. We were lucky to find a charming place like this. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Anytime again. Thank you team of Margelle!

Excellent formule du midi at a reasonable price. Ecuisse de canard was perfect. Good choice of wines by the glass. Friendly and attentive service, which didn't make us feel under pressure at all. Lovely courtyard with plenty of shade. The best we've found in this town.

Excellent garden seating and friendly staff. Food is nothing special, but decent and reasonably priced.
