There was a hair in my Banh Mi, the bread was dry enough to kill a swan, and there was not a literal atom of pate. This restaurant is single handedly responsible for the ruination of my love of Vietnamese cuisine. Edit: One year on, still true. My partner made the mistake of getting a chicken noodle salad bowl, in which the chicken tasted like noodles, and the noodles were a complete vacuum of flavour, which no amount of overly processed, inauthentic sauce could avail.

It's not very authentic Vietnamese food unfortunately. Mamma Tran is better in flavours and authenticity. Perhaps they are trying to appeal to a different variety of customers by adjusting the flavours (ie. Less fish sauce), but it just takes away all the aromas and tastes of a Vietnamese dish.

Slow service, Banh Mi rolls were stale, ordered Roast Pork & Crackling Banh Mi and came with 1/2 piece of crackling, dry and unappealing and Zero Regard for Covid practices!

Worst Banhmi I ever had. Order took 30 mins had to follow up. Ended up waitress saying kitchen staff is new. Not waitress' fault who was very apologetic. All good we said. Now the Pork Crackling Banhmi we ordered was nowhere crackling. Meat was soaked and pretended to be juciy. My teeth is nothing compared to the strength of the pork crackling. Can't bite into it. Really impossible.

I was very disappointed yesterday when I ordered a Banh Mi roll there was only 1 very small piece of roast pork in one half of the roll and the extra crackling I had asked to be put in the roll turned out to be no crackling at all? not sure what was going on with this place but definitely not worth the money don't think I will be going back to this place! I gave it 1 star for the friendly lady at the front that took my order.

Admittedly we only had two dishes for lunch out of a long menu choices - a pho and the Vietnamese pancake. Both failed , in my opinion, miserably. Pancake was bland and nothing to write home about. The Pho broth was tasteless completely lacks the characteristic spices and herbs. Tip- walk across to N Bridge for a proper quality and money value bowl of pho. Hmm.....shame great location perhaps a tourist trap and if you are a Vietnamese cuisine novice ☺

Functional fast food Vietnamese, good and easy eating, but can't say I haven't had better at some smaller shops around Perth and Fremantle. The dining area is comfortable and well decorated, a very chilled place to eat and the food served promptly by helpful staff, certainly nothing to complain about. Interestingly has beer taps that appear to be in use, but doesn't sell alcohol at lunch time - and they're not open for dinner? Would have loved a nice cold lager with a spicy banh mi on a hot day, but that was not an option. Hopefully they can get whatever licensing issues they are going through sorted soon.

Was walking by - checked out menu and saw that both rice paper rolls and bao buns were listed at under $5. Thought i'll try one of each and went inside. Turns out, you can buy rice paper rolls only in pairs at $9, when dining in. Anyway, just had the rice paper rolls, one each of soft shell crab and the pork one. Was okay - nothing spectacular, didn;t really get the crab flavor. Also, the side of chilli sauce could be improved and possibly give one or two more sauce options.

The food is always excellent and the staff are hard working. There was a small mix up with my order and they took the time and effort to correct it. This shows they care and it's much appreciated!

Ricepaper roll is normal. But, there is no penut sauce for ricepaper roll. The only option is spicy sauce or non-spicy sauce. I’m disappointed with Roast pork Banh Mi. I haven’t got any crackling pork skin. And the sauce is bit salty to me.

The guy in the front on Sunday was rude! I ordered pork crackling and roast pork. The pork skin tasted more than a day old and it's as hard as my teeth. It has been like that for a while now based on my experience. Please make sure that your foods are easy to bite and fresh.

Food is mid. I work nearby and have come here a few times. The popular ‘authentic viet banh mi’ was nothing different from the bakery in the transperth station… Stale and dry. I had a salad the next time and it was not good. They’re online ordering systems aren’t good either as I ordered and paid online thinking it would save me time on break but they never updated the online tracking. I decided to go and my food had been sitting in the back for a while.

The food is too bad, totally unacceptable . And the services are kind of discrimination. There are some alone customers using double table. We are a two people group customers and only order this small one, when there are still many available

Poor customer service, this is a diverse country and customers come from different countries having English as second language. I literally felt that I received treated different because I do not have blue eyes and blonde hair

This place is buzzing with customers around lunch time and on to the afternoon Obviously people have caught on to the flavours and value going on here. The food is fresh and freshly prepared by the many hands in the kitchen. 'Vietnamese inspired street-food' they say and everything tried so far lives up to that. Plenty of staff are on hand and they all seem to know their products. The ambiance is.... different, a bit retro, but the layout mimics the open style of many Asian restaurants. Good food, service, and they are licensed.

You go through all the mandatory check ins just to be seated right next to someone in an empty restaurant. The salad seemed days old, the food prep staff weren't wearing masks properly or at all and the man at the counter touching money put his hands all over the mouth piece of the straw.

2 stars for the staff, warm and small portions (2 pieces of chicken wings enough for me), taste not good. if you want to eat good quality Vietnamese soup noodles , recommend to traditional shop.

Been there a few times and bought their chicken and beef pho I think it was. Always delicious. Still the best I have had. Meat is so good.

the broth (of pho) tasted weird and different compared with other Rolld stores I visited before. the beanspout and coriander were far from fresh and I can tell right away that they were old. The girl at till was apparently stressed with the long queue in front of her and i didn’t bother to make a complain to stress her more. Wouldn’t recommend

Go the Pho Yes I know that the review title doesn't actually rhyme.... Still, Roll'd does a great chicken pho, and an equally great beef pho, basically give it a go. Go the Pho! or... Pho’k off…. Depending on how you’d prefer to pronounce it…. If you don’t like my lack of it actually rhyming.. They also do a half decent roll, and are just exactly as you’d expect from take out pho

Have been here a few times and most recently last month. The restaurant is spacious and the food comes out quickly. Everything tastes fresh. I like that you have to do your own order on the paper pad. The place is clean and the staff are attentive

We bought 2 banh mi to take-away yesterday for lunch. Staff were very pleasant. Certainly could not say that about the food we bought. The buns were stale, the pork was dry & not freshly cooked and the flavor was not authentic. We just couldn't eat it and had to throw it in the bin. Sadly, very disappointing.

My fix for Vietnamese pho and delicious rice paper rolls if I could I would eat everyday here. Clean fresh flavours and helpful staffs. I love going here and been having their food for quite some time. Can't walk pass globe lane without getting here :) I always ask for extra sauce for some reason the sauce here is extra flavoursome. Amazing just amazing. It brings back the memory of my trip to Danag, Vietnam back to my mind. I just love the vietnamese cuisine. Kudos guys keep up the good work

Staff were lovely and food nice, but it would be really great to see an end to single-use items at this restaurant. We were astounded by the amount of waste produced from one small lunch - every thing is served in a single-use container and no recycling bins in sight (not that you’d be able to recycle most of it anyway!) Plastic bowl for pho, disposable chopsticks in paper packaging, sauces in soft plastic sachets and plastic containers, rice paper rolls in paper/plastic boxes - all of that could have been saved by using one plate and one bowl. Instead it will be sitting in landfill for hundreds of years. I really hope this is just a COVID thing, but if not, please consider adapting your business to move away from single use. This level of waste just isn’t acceptable in 2020.

Avoid if you've ever had real vietnamese food. Had the spicy beef noodle soup. Not spicy, no condiments to make it spicy apart from siracha which wasn't going to work. Lack of much fresh herbs in bowl, lack of noodles and beef wasn't cut really thin. Soup was flavourless and without the lemon to cut through the fat it would have been inedible. Poor imitation ofBun Bo Hue.

Food is good - not bad but nothing special. Vietnamese rice paper rolls were fresh but I found the paper rolls too thick. Bao's were yummy - the crispy prawn and roast duck bao was much nicer than the lemongrass beef bao. I found it really strange that they wouldn't allow me to pay in 2 separate ways e.g. Paying a certain amount with card and then the rest with cash or the use of 2 cards. The staff member at the counter said that you can only pay in 1 transaction - I'm confused as to why ??

We used an Entertainment Book voucher, one pho soup for price of one. We liked the soup, without MSG and probably cooked with beef bones overnight. Perhaps it wasn't as good as the pho in Hanoi, but its presentation resembled the Hanoi version: just a sprinkle of spring onion, and lemon to enhance the taste. Including fish sauce would have been nice. I would come again.

Ordered two pho, soup bowl is not even clean, both tasteless, other places they will put lemon wedges on the side dish, this one just all in the soup.. Seafood pho only two pieces of fish fillets and two prawn( both sliced in half). Sat us on a dirty table not even wiped. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
