Entering Lucky Chans is like escaping reality. Asian fusion food with lots of different cuisines covered. We had quite a few different dishes and we weren't disappointed by any. We got a bubble tea cocktail and took it upstairs to the rooftop bar because it was too busy downstairs. They had a really cool theme bar up there with some amazing theatrical cocktails. Get your phone's ready if you get the "crystal skull" cocktail. Trust me, you'll get some great shots. Highly rated this place. I've added a picture of the Lady croft cocktail. We’ve come here a couple of times, whether it’d be celebrating a birthday, or just casual catch up drinks with friends, and each time, food and service is always on point! I am such a big fan of their interactive/fun cocktails and of course you cant miss their alcoholic bubble tea! It’s definitely a must try!! Vibe through out the venue is always solid, staff are always very attentive, and never fails to check up on you. In terms of food, you cant go wrong, the chef is very creative, and caters to all dietary. Hey Hey Japchae is my all time favourite! Thank you staff for helping me celebrate my birthday, will definitely be coming again!!

Fantastic, deceivingly large venue with absolutely stunning food just know it's more filling than you may expect. We had some absolutely gorgeous pulled beef noodles and dan dan tattor totts with some alcoholic bubble teas, worth a try any day of the week.

If your looking for quirky, there aren't many places that will top this venue. Walking through a "washing machine" door to get inside is your first hint! Bubble tea is a draw card here, though it is expensive compared to other company's,there are some alcoholic and fun teas to experience! They also sell food, really nice and fun selection. The staff are really knowledgeable and professional, rare these days! Highly recommend booking on a saturday night!!! All 3 floors can get rather busy!

Iconic Northbridge Asian 🥢cowboy/girl laundry 🧺themed eatery didn’t disappoint! …Been wanting to come here for ages. Rocked up with an old friend at 5pm opening time - no queue tonight, but had to go to the rooftop, (which is cool and enclosed and cozy with heaters in winter but opens up with views to the city and Northbridge in summer), to sit, order and eat as was fully booked - recommend booking. When we walked out at 6.30pm the place was full, creating a lively, buzzing atmosphere! Cool decor and couldn’t resist sitting on the saddle 🐴🤠. Ordered the Gochujang pulled jackfruit fried dumplings without caramel sauce - conceded preference by me & one barman as we don’t like sticky caramel while other barman was reluctant to put my order through until we’d discussed the merits between the three of us 😂. My friend ordered the Char sui chicken. Gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for food as seemed expensive but it was a fun atmosphere to catch-up with an old friend 👯‍♀️and could see it as a fave for a drink & snacking 😉.

Friendly staff welcomed us into this haven of mouthwatering food and delicious drinks. The atmosphere was good with music loud enough that we didn't have to yell at each other! Our food and drinks arrived promptly. We weren't disappointed and will definitely be back!😊

my my my... 5 star interior design!!! the retro feel is so real, brings you to hongkong back at the 70s!!! walks down the memory lane, funky cantonese touch and awesome dark alley atmosphere. wait, yes, i need to comment on the food. 5 star for the decor but the dishes are not for everyone. they called their food a fusion, but the terrible type. the wrong kinda jackfruit sweetness, the too salty chicken, the messy taste of noodle, and the bad imitation of alcoholic bubble tea. you cant just put liquor into a bubble tea and claim it a cocktail bubble tea, it is not that easy. hmmmmmm.... all in all, just a good snap snap instagram materials, dont ask for more.

Went for a girls night out and our experience was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Lucy, we would come back for the service alone that she had provided, Lucy was so thorough, never missed a beat and just pure delight. The atmosphere was great but the food was delicious, we tried all the dumplings on the menu, ordered a few noodle dishes, baos and entrees, all were scrumptious, we were left rolling out the door. The cocktails were quite pricey but enticing enough for us to continue our drinking at the rooftop bar afterwards. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back

The entrance to this restaurant is very cool and the decor inside was fab. The waitperson was rushing us a bit and that was even with us being early into the restaurant. I got the hubba bubbalicious tea- that was amazing! For starters- we got the edamame and spicy tofu fingers. The edamame was a bit bland, the tofu was lovely. Our main’s were the jackfruit dumplings- amazing!! And seafood noodles- very delicious. Overall pretty good value.

Great atmosphere and food. Friendly staff. Cheese burger spring rolls, amazing. Chicken bao bun was very tasty. The brisket beef was unfortunately not as good. Chewy meat. The bubble teas, delicious.

Location and atmosphere is really good but when it comes to the ramen, it's not ramen. Taste was non existent. The broth had no flavour and when I asked what kind of ramen this is meant to be, I was told the whole menu is the chef's adaptation of raman. So it's not traditional in the slightest.

We only went to the roof top bar to have a drink. The area was nice and had a great view. The cocktail menu read well, so we were expecting them to be amazing. They were too sweet for our liking.

Kinda Peng scran. Id recommend the popcorn chicken cos it's yummy and the prawn n pork dumplings were kinda good but slightly oily. We also got the tom yum prawn noodles but I wouldn't recommend them bcos it was hella salty n oily. If you get the seats by the entrance on the sides, they play tv in one of the washing machines and it was an excellent movie choice, kung fu panda 2- arguably the best of the trilogy, however all 3 of them are spectacular. I would have enjoyed it more with subtitles but since me and my friend had seen it so many times, we already knew what was going on in the story. Bosh

Food is decent but pricey. Ambiance and decor is great though. Nothing spectacular for the 2 person "feast" option and portions are small. But the stir fried yellow noodles are the best I've had with strong wok hei.

Such amazing vegan options! We had the dumplings, baos, mystery tofu and Korean rice cakes. The dumplings and baos were a hit and the sauce on the mystery tofu had so much flavour. Thanks so much to the team for a lovely meal and catering for vegans with such great options. Definitely didn’t feel like an afterthought ❤️👏 We will be back 🙂

Super friendly efficient staff and really nice atmosphere. The food was fresh and tasty with a good range of cocktails and drinks. The rooftop bar is a good place to be on a hot night. Highly recommended.

The online booking system stated they were fully booked, so I decided to call anyway. I was told they had plenty of tables available! The online booking system will definitely put walk ins off, so make sure you call. But overall a unique venue with multiple dining levels and fun bubble tea cocktails!

Correct me if I’m wrong but lucky chans used to be known as a Ramen bar so I was shocked to find there was no longer any Ramen on the menu just a couple of noodle dishes and other types of food. Lucky chans has taken popular dishes off the menu before and I have found this to be the last straw for me. Why take things off the menu that are your biggest seller the owner/manager is obviously very confused as to where they want to take this business.

From the trendy decor, to the friendly service and the tasty food, almost everything was to our liking. Definitely recommend the cheeseburger spring rolls and the Korean bbq pork noodle dish. The bao buns seemed to be a hit or miss for us, the chicken one was tasty, but the beef brisket one was not very tender and not to our taste, but it might be for someone else.

Wow I was very impressed with this hidden Rooftop Bar/ restuarant hidden behind a old Laundry Mat shop front. I thought my sister was playing a joke on me. Good selection of Cocktails ( but pricey though) Great friendly service. A must bar to check out. Even some funky stairs that you should take your time to walk up and down. ( Maybe don't be tipsy when arriving or leaving here)

booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday night (it was still fairly busy) turned out to be about $25 a person which I think was quite reasonable for the quality of food we got. Edamame was some of the best I've ever had, the seasoning was excellent and it comes out warm cooked in butter and garlic! I wish all places could serve edamame like that. the hamburger spring rolls were definitely a highlight, so packed with flavour, we had to order 2 servings! the egg fried rice and prawn gyoza was quite yummy too. the 'get in my tummy' noodles were pretty average flavour and could do with more meat, and the brisket beef bao was not nearly as soft as brisket beef was meant to be, definitely had the texture of beef fillet I could have cooked at home so a bit disappointed with that for $8.50 a bao, but alright quality overall. sadly the rooftop bar was closed (closes at 9pm on weekdays) by the time we were done but I'd be very keen to come back and try their cocktails soon!

Lucky chans is an Asian fusion restaurant/bar in Chinatown Perth. It has it has exceptionally tasty food with lots of different dishes available. Cocktail list is a little bit small but good cocktails. Always seems to be very busy so definitely book ahead. Service this time seemed slow as though they were under staffed. One thing we didn't like was you have to wait at the front door entrance to be seated, however we waited almost 15 mins for someone to come down to us. By this time it was 15 mins past our booking time made for 8pm.

Cozy food and bar place hidden behind a wall of laundry machines. The food was good, but could have used a little extra spice. I didn't get any of their cocktails this time, but their selection seemed phenomenal, and the bubble mocktail I got was good! The place has trendy looks and multiple floors, including a rooftop. While the rooftop is charming and has its own bar, you won't have any views from up there. Where this place really shines is in their amazing staff. Go to have cocktails in a new cool place, get a bite if you're hungry, and enjoy good service.

Recommend the hidden bar for chill out for drinks and dinner. It's slightly expensive but the quality of food and services are worth it. Nice for dining atmosphere and experience.

Ordered a couple of cocktails, 1 wasn't filled to even halfway and charged me 22 bucks, but thankfully, they brought me another and apologised. I was expecting a lot more variety of cocktails but had like 6 to pick from. Service was amazing, food was decent. Roof top bar isn't very functional and defeated the roof top experience by blocking the view with a wall. Loved the stairs with inspiration quotes written on each stair. Abit of an roller-coaster of good and bad.

Me and my sister went here the first time. We were super excited to try their cocktail drinks in the rooftop bar because it was hyped-up on tiktok so we went there once they’ve opened their doors. We had an awful experience though. The bartender was not in the mood when he served us. It felt like he doesn’t wanna be on that shift. We just finished our drinks and headed somewhere for dinner because of the experience on the rooftop bar. I’d say 1 star for the service.

Really really good fried ice cream, one of the best I’ve eaten in Perth, fried ice cream was covered in a delicious caramel sauce which left me scraping the bowl wanting more! We also ordered the popcorn chicken however the portion was quite small for the price.. otherwise very tasty!

This hidden bar restaurant was an excellent experience, the food was delicious, I recommend the "dragon fruit" one, the staff was very friendly! Highly recommended for drinks and dinner!

Wouldn’t recommend going here in summer as the air conditioning system is not sufficient and it gets very hot in there. The atmosphere and decor is very nice but the food and service was average. We were never offered any drinks to order and after waiting for 20 minutes we had to ask for a staff member to order. After 5 minutes he still hadn’t taken our order so we had to ask another staff member. I also heard other customers complaining that they had to ask to be served. The food was good but I was expecting more.

No chilli ramen. Food was delicious. Food was quite expensive compared to other ramen places in Perth. A novel theme that is worth checking out

IAN who served our table is an absolute legend, always checking up on us to make sure we were happy and satisfied. The food was fantastic and full of flavour, the place also has a nice atmosphere to it, especially the roof bar.

If you like a bit of Ramen, get into this joint, it's not the best Ramen in town, it's not even the cheapest Ramen in town, but you can custom your Ramen at Chan's, has a great roof top bar. Just go here

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. I had booked for 30 people for my birthday at Lucky Chans and had paid a $100 deposit. Then on the night of my birthday, i had 30 of my friends and family come to the bar to meet us for dinner, some as far and Rockingham. I was met at the front of the bar with a waitstaff saying that my booking had been cancelled and they could not accomodate my party even though i had paid a deposit and it was confirmed. She said the top story was being rennovated and that’s where they were planning on putting us. I then had 30 people waiting outside whilst i tried to talk to the waitstaff and she was so rude not only to me but to my mother in law too, no help at all saying the manager would call me to talk to me the next day. I never received a call from anyone from lucky chans or an email or nothing. I then had to relocate a party of 30 on a saturday night in northbridge. It was a nightmare. I would never go back to lucky chans, ever. They ruined my birthday, and were so rude and unhelpful. Do not go here.

This place is such an amazing find, I cannot fault it in the slightest. The Johnny Mo bartenders are so entertaining to watch and the customer service is outstanding.

Food was amazing and we had great service. Table of 7 and everything came out super fast and fresh!! They let you have drinks on the rooftop and bring them down to your table and vice versa. Went at 6pm on a Thursday so wasn't too busy and there wasn't any waiting time!!
