A bit odd place A bit of a dumbed down Japanese Restaurant “Baconator” “Black Beauty” etc Sushi Bland pop music playing Tea bags for green tea… asked for another one and waiter fished old tea bag off the counter and put back in my cup and topped up with hot water… not sure how he realised which of them was mine!

My favourite Japanese restaurant in Perth! The Sweet Corn Tempura, Creamy Popcorn Shrimp and Sunset Boulevard roll are my favourites but I haven’t ever had something from their menu that I didn’t like. I would eat here every day if I could! You can’t make bookings so you may have to wait for a table when they’re busy but it’s so worth it! 😍😍😍

The customer service was impeccable, matching the quality of the food. The Aisuru and Crab salads we had were a culinary delight, demonstrating the same attention to detail and quality as the rest of the menu. A must visit if passing by in Perth City.

Great sushi and service. Particularly like that you can order from the app (at the bar), and the wide range of sushi available! Food came very quickly. Vegetarian options for sushi available.

Possibly the best sushi in Perth! Incredible choices, some very strange options that I wouldn’t put together but once giving it try they will very quickly become your new favourite! If anyone’s reading this, you HAVE to try the magic mushroom sushi, I tried it as a sampler on maybe my 3rd visit and it is absolutely my new go to option!!! Each time I go I try something new and I’m never disappointed, love that you can order a larger roll and a ‘sampler’ roll, it encourages you to try all their options Excellent place to eat before heading to a show or out in the city, I just wish you were open between 3pm and 6pm too 🤣

If you are a vegan, or a vegetarian, or just a human who likes Japanese. Get here now. The chefs are magicians. The fusions are out of this world.

Been here a couple of times. Great vegan options and service is fast but when it gets busy the staff do get a little flustered and tend to get orders wrong or serve the wrong orders. But very pleased with the quality of the vegan sushi tho. Definitely recommended for the out of the box options and value for money.

Nice experience but crowded on a Saturday evening! Food was good and sushi was unique to say the least. Not your average sushi selection which was not what I was expecting. However the sushi turned out surprisingly good. The chicken katsu set was average and nothing spectacular. Would've appreciated if it came with a spoon though as it came with a bowl of soup and had rice. Overall not too bad, may return again to try the other sushi selections but probably not for the same stuff.

Overpriced, tiny portions, the meat on the sushi rice just thin like a piece of paper 😅and the taste is just average, will definitely never come back again

So, my best friend and I just ate here and overall we were super disappointed! The quality of the food was so not good; it fell apart wayyy too easily, we ended up eating with our hands, everything tasted and looked like it had been sitting out for hours, the cutting was awful and every single thing we ate was slightly undercooked and also wet??? No idea how they even achieved that! On top of this we paid $6 for chips and they gave us literally 11 chips on a tiny dish. Never going here again 💀

Nice sushi and good location. The karage chicken was tasty but the salad accompanying it was just plain lettuce and very boring ..down . There's a lot more competition around so you need to step up your game if you want to stay around . A bit of colour in your salad would go a long way.

Best sushi I've ever tasted. Unique style and ingredients. Different from the normal sushi, you get at most places. I like the Tank roll. Compliments to the chef's.

Appreciate they have vegan sushi but the rice just not the Japanese sushi rice and is quite mushy. Vegan sushi can be very innovative. Hope they will create something new.

The beef terriyaki, pork skewers and dragon sushi rolls were good. The tempura prawn was however disappointing. I can't justify paying $19 for 3 small tasteless pieces of frozen prawns. Everything else was nice. I must say comparing to other restaurants nearby, this one is a bit more expensive.

😌 It wasn’t my first time! It is a perfect place for dates 😏 If you looking for a nice place to have dinner, quality sushi… Aisuru won’t disappoint you. I had a such good time with my partner, high quality sushi, very well done and flavourful. It is always a good option for a sushi lovers 😋

This place is a hidden treasure. The food is always fresh, tasty, and made to order. I sometimes find some Japanese places quite oily when it comes to the deep fried dishes, but this one never. Will definitely be back.

I love the sushi at Aisuru, honestly it's a bit of an addiction. I'm glad they are still going because they've been a regular spot for my partner and I since we first started dating 8 years ago. My mum thought she didn't like sushi but I dragged her here for my birthday a few years back and she totally changed her mind after trying the amazing sushi they make. 12/10 do recommend.

My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night and were seated straight away. Our waitress Andrea was really lovely and attentive. Our food all came out pretty quickly and everything was delicious. We shared the tempura string beans and tamago egg to start, my friend ordered the teriyaki chicken, plum flower sushi roll and salmon & avocado sushi roll and I had the Chicken Katsu meal set. We enjoyed the food, the restaurant had a good ambience and the two waitresses that brought our food and sorted our bill out were really great.

Not even food court quality. I almost never leave negative reviews but my experience made this necessary. Based on other reviews I hope it was just a bad night. The salmon and unagi nigiri were the worst I've ever had-- terrible quality. We also had veggie tempura, edamame, miso soup, and a speciality roll. I'm not writing this to be inflammatory, but none of it was acceptable. The servers were friendly but missed basic things like giving spoons for the soup, giving soy sauce for the sushi, delivering dishes to the wrong table, etc.

I had Sashimi and Popcorn prawns. Don't order this. There was no lemon and the popcorn was drowned in Mayo. Like drowned. And the batter uncooked in the middle. Staff were good, the young girl had epic cool contacts. Of course I paid for it. Despite the male staff member watching me unsuccessfully to remote hideous amounts of Mayo... and then not eating it. .. whatever... lesson learnt.

Used to be our favourite Sushi spot until our recent visit. Prices seem to have increased yet food quality has decreased. $14.50 for a beer - I only expect to pay this in a high end establishment but not a tired Sushi bar in Northbridge! A bottle of sparkling water more than $10 ?? Again, unjustified. No wonder the place is not as popular as it once was.

Just having lunch here. Wait about 40mins for 3 hot meal sets. Fried chicken is ok while teriyaki chicken and beef are somehow dry and a bit tough. Tuna Sushi is nice yet plum sushi that come with chicken is same dry with little flavour.

The soft shell crab salad was good but when my skewers arrived they were so small it was like an entree and rice wasn't even included. Plus my daughter had to wait 40 minutes for her sushi which was also so small even though it was the large size. We left still hungry and underwhelmed.

  • 5/5 Matteo P. 3 years ago on Google
Place amazing. Nice spot. And the mini avocado rolls are incredible it's actually a nice piece of avocado in it! We used to go to the sushi in front of this one but it's now closed. Only downside is that they don't have canned tuna which my daughter love ! Please keep some cans my daughter has sushi every second day !!!

Extensive menu with lots of rolls, including vegan. Beer, wine, and saki. Open 7 days for lunch and dinner except Holidays. A winner. Not much on decor, and — as most Australian restaurants I've visited — a bit on the noisy side, particularly if you wear hearing aids. Not cheap, but good value, and good location next to the State (Heath Ledger) Theatre. Definitely a 'come-back-to': efficient and friendly service, delicious food, and nice wine.

Traditional meets innovative sushi, interesting to watch it being made in the open kitchen. Attentive and polite Japanese style service.

  • 1/5 Xavier B. 3 years ago on Google
Perth quality. After you are seated you will be served disposable chopsticks (first bad sign for a place boasting quality). We ordered some spirits which was served on a plastic Ikea cup (second bad sign). The sushi servings contained more Mayonnaise which disguised any potential quality that was the sushi. Overall below average sushi and highly priced.

  • 1/5 Shannan M. 3 years ago on Google
Honestly, the most disgusting Japanese meal I've ever had; and I've eaten sushi from US gas stations. $7 for a single yakitori skewer (which was cold), karaage which had 10c coin-sized amounts of chicken surrounded by fist-sized amounts of batter (complete with pooling oil inside), rice which was somehow both hard and gluggy simultaneously, and prawn sushi with the taste and consistency of over processed crabstick. Also a 300ml Keri juice was actually a 250ml Spring Valley but now I feel like I'm just being petty. We had to throw the whole meal out and are now both hungry and nauseous.

Went there for lunch, the waitress that received us said that they didn’t have any free tables and that we would have to wait. We agrred, got a table and were given the menus, asking us to go to the counter to order once we were ready. We went to order and the same waitress told us that they did not have any rice left, that we could order anything but sushi. We obviously had to leave (what is the point of a sushi restaurant without sushi!?) after wasting our time. If the waitress had warned us from the beginning we would have spared this bad experience.

The kirika roll is out of this world. Nov 2020: been coming for 5 years, but recently serving sizes have been getting smaller. Quality is high but the sushi is more like mini sushi.
