The main event may be Korean BBQ here, but they also do Korean fried chicken and also serve beer and other alcohol for chimaek. There's only one BBQ hotplate per table so you'll need to designate the chefs closer to the hot plate, and you can order various cuts of plain and marinated beef or pork, or order a set meal package designed for 2 or 4 people which include BBQ and other side dishes that can include a hotpot, rice, salad, banchan, and even a seafood pancake with the 4 people set. Serving sizes in the sets are generous and are sure to satisfy your appetite. Food is otherwise decent, though some additional different dipping sauces would be nice. The setting and restaurant seems to be modern and clean. Service is good and the manager that served us was very polite and accommodating.

Palsaik is a popular restaurant in the Perth CBD for Korean BBQ, with the good food quality balancing out the sometimes hit and miss customer services. We had dinner during the holiday season and got a spot luckily as we were early enough to get the first seating (6-730pm). We found we had to repeat our requests for some condiments to some of the staffs due to the noise and language barriers but overall customer service is good enough as some staffs are superb and friendly, making up for the others. The BBQ meats are great , so are their kimchi pancake and fried chicken, and overall we had a good meal. Tip 1: the stool & chairs doubled up as storage bin for your valuables if you lift the seat cushion and expose the tube Tip 2: no booking taken so get there early for first seating time

All four of us loved the food and the entire experience. We ordered the BBQ Combo B with a few extras and the pork belly platter add on.

My first time here and have heard a lot of good review for this place, we ordered the bbq A combo that comes with 3 type of meat, 1 pork and 2 beef. All of them are marinated. The combo also comes with the choice of kimchi soup or soybean soup. We end up getting the kimchi. They also give free side dish and you allowed to refill, which is a plus since some other place will charge for that. It also come with some salad and corn cheese bits plus lettuces. Apart from that we ordered 1 extra meat which is the pork belly. Overall the meat is pretty good but i think the marinade is more on the sweet side. The pork belly is perfect as usual. In the future i think i will prefer to just order the individual meat without the marinade. They are all tasty and easy to cook. The only downside that reduce it from the full star is the service. They are all a bit slow to respond and did not clean the table quick enough after people are done. Improvement required for this side

My favourite place to go for Kbbq! It’s relatively cheap compared to other Kbbqs. The food and side dishes come out quickly and the food taste really good! Highly recommend it to all my friends who come to Perth for a visit. There was 4 of us and we got a set B for 2-3, 2 bonesless chickens, takoyaki, cheese tteokbokki and the palsaik beer. It was around $150-$160. But we were very full and took home left overs! Also they do a discount if you pay by cash. 😉

Staff were very friendly and helpful despite it being busy, and very understaffed. Food was very good, got the combo B which was very generous. Especially the seafood pancake.

The folks working at this BBQ joint are super friendly and provide excellent service. The BBQ here tastes amazing and takes me back to my days studying abroad in Korea. It's awesome—I highly recommend giving it a try!

I'm Korean and I can tell that this is the BEST Korean bbq restaurant I've tried in Australia. My boyfriend and I ordered this pork belly set menu for 2 ppl(8 differently flavoured pork bellies; plain, wine, pepper, herbs, soy sauce, curry, pepper paste and garlic) and it was absolutely amazing. I loved this cool combinations as we could truly enjoy our dinner time, trying different food and comparing them. Also the side dishes provided were really nice as well. Clean and refreshing, which was perfect to work up our appetites. At first when we were ordering, we were not sure if it would be enough for both of us and we agreed to see how it goes and order later, but with all these dishes and plus, this gigantic soup, it was just perfect. Personally I think stms Korean bbq restaurants are a bit overpriced, but I found it here very reasonable. I would love to come back and try some other menus like beef as well. Since we were travelling, we could pick only one Korean bbq place to visit in Perth, and I'm more than glad we chose here. Thank you for the lovely meal.:) +)I forgot to mention the customer service! The pork belly set is really good. The chuck steak is tasty but cooks quick, don't get distracted and leave it too long like I did! The sides are also very good, especially the kimchi. However, I didn't get the friendliest service in all my visits, so I can't give 5 stars sorry.

The attitude of some waitress are very bad. They should train them better by not giving us an attitude for customers who waited for hours to get table. And apparently a lot of empty tables. The way they spoke and their intonation are so unprofessional and VERY VERY RUDE! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR US. VERY SHITTYYY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

I’ve been this restaurant first time with my friends which is one of my friend wanted to have Korean bbq. But it wasn’t good as I expected. Because poor food quality and bad customer service(grumpy behavior, rude, an imperative tone of voice) I won’t never recommended to anyone who want to go. As a Korean what a shame this restaurant. Even I don’t want to give any rate ever!

About 30mins wait on a Friday night. Busy place but staffs were attentive. Meat and stew were pretty good but charred bbq grill plate wasn’t replaced throughout the session.

one of the best ox tongue i had in Perth. top notch ingredients ! it’s was truly mesmerising with every bites. only thing is the “banchan”was lacking.only 3 options given which was kimchi,bean sprouts and sour cabbage (mehh) still a 5 star experience due to the meat quality vs quantity ratio and the pricing. they encourage those who make cash payments by giving a 5% discount while those who pays by credit card will incur additional charges.very good initiative to keep cost down for everyone if we start paying with cash again.

Bad bad service. No spoon was served despite having soup. We have to ask twice. Soup wasn’t to our liking , the cheese chicken was quite bad. Portion was big and value for money.

Had the Palsaik Set- 8 types of marinated pork belly, which is interesting to try. Comes with salad, rice and sauce to go with the barbecued meat. It also comes with seafood soup which is delicious! Busy place, it may not be easy to get attention of staff.

Stumbles upon Namoo completely by accident and what a great find! Food was AMAZING, we had set menu which included a selection of differently marinated pork belly and seafood soup. Each different pork was amazing, the soup was delicious and full of lovely seafood. I can't wait to go back

I discovered Palsaik today for lunch and was very impressed with their food and menu. I had the Bibimbap amd it was one of the best bowls of food I have eaten. The side dishes were also amazing. I also took home some chicken for my family which surprisingly came with chips and salad. I can't wait to bring my family and friends here 💜

We had a lot of fun here recently. The serving sizes were fantastic and the food was tasty. The wait staff were really busy, sometimes running to tables to keep things moving in a timely manner, I think this is indicative of the industry's problems at the moment more than the quality of Palsaik's service. The air-conditioning is a bit lacking though, which is pretty necessary during summer when you're seated next to a BBQ. Still, we'll go again.

We've been here many times and always order Palsaik combo with 8 colour flavour pork (marinated) and kimchi pancake also seafood soup. Delicious....

Over all ok. pork chop meat after cooking is a bit hard, those meat in slices were well marinated. Dipping sauce for the meat is slightly sweet for me.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Best to have someone pick up a number early for small groups as bookings not allowed. We waited almost three quarters of an hour for a table. Ordered the Palsaik set that came with 8 flavors of marinated pork belly. The seafood soup that accompanied this was just full of flavor. Took a recommendation to order the in-house Honey Makgeolli and it was quite enjoyable. Can feed 3 comfortably but might not be enough for 4. Will be back again for more.

We came as a group of 13 and we all left very satisfied. We sat in three different tables and ordered Combo A, B and C. Good variety and good serving. Definitely top notch!

Great food. Will feed 2 hungry hippos if you order the 8 type pork belly menu set for $80. Beware, they now accept booking so best you book a table first. We arrived at 5.30 and waited 30+ minutes only to see multiple people walk pass us.

Used to be better. I went there with my wife on a Wednesday, it was quiet, but we've been waiting about 10 mins and the waitress didn't show up, so We left the place without have any drinks or meals. I don't know if they have new management or what happened. But it used to be better some months ago.

Went a bit too early so we went somewhere else. Came back at 5.33pm and it was already packed downstairs! We ordered Palsaik set menu with additional seafood kimchi pancakes. It was really really good. The meat was marinated properly, kimchi soup was great, side dishes are awesome. Would say that this is the best Korean restaurant that I've ever tasted in Perth. No wonder this restaurant is that popular, even their dipping sauces are tasty 👍🏻

First Korean BBQ we have ever had! Was an amazing experience and we all loved it so much. The staff were super nice, friendly and they get the food to us in a matter of minutes. We left no food, and left in a food coma. Just recommend going on a cool day, as the BBQs heat the room very easily!! Absolutely recommend but not to children under 12! Enjoy!
