Love the dumplings and baos here! Same owners as the authentic bites which I also love :) Very similar but there were some menus different to the authentic bites. Really enjoyed it and keen to come back next time to try some clay pot rice!😋😋

Decided to visit Juicy Bao Bao after watching our friend’s IG story about the cute robot waiter bringing dumplings to their table. We didn’t regret our visit one bit. Having the robot waiter serve us was a cool experience for sure. Furthermore, the human waiters do a good job too - they are attentive and efficient. And most importantly, the food is top. The dumplings and wontons are super fresh, juicy (hence, the name), and tasty (taste is on point). Our favs are the Pork/Prawn Wonton in Homemade Spice Sauce and the Dan Dan Noodles. Juicy Bao Bao is the only place we think about now when we crave for dumplings. This restaurant gets busy, so good idea to pop in early! They don’t take bookings.

We need to queue up in the windy and cold Sunday at 2 pm. The owner told me this restaurant has already been in operation for two years. The homemade items are wonton, bao and dumplings. We found both bao and dumping were tasty. My favourite one was the pork and prawn wonton. The clay port chicken mushroom rice was yummy. The minced pork noodle sauce was a bit sweet. The dumpling of the sour soup was very nice. Free hot and cold water. The kitchen closed at 3 pm. Cheers!

This place is a high 4’s. Nice and quick serve of food. The vinegar soy compliments the dumplings 🥟 real good. Had the truffle pork xiao long bao for $18, could taste a bit of the truffle. Was a pretty good lunch which was good value!!

Edit 26 Oct 2022 It was another lunch that need to be done quickly. Ordering was easy through the tablet. Food came out quick. It was never slow at this place. Ordered a vegetable dish and it was quite big. Dumplings was spicy, sour with a hint of saltiness, just the way I liked it. --‐---------------------------------- Quick light lunch. Delicious wonton and a good claypot rice. Portion was quite generous. Food came out quick and service was friendly.

They used to be a lot better but after the refurbishment the menu has changed and they seem a lot less friendly unfortunately. They still do great xiao long bao and dumplings, but the rest of the items that I have tried feel like a bit of a miss now. They don't do the salted egg pumpkin any more either which used to be amazing 🙁

This place is the sister restaurant to another great dumpling place nearby. Interior is clean and bright, staff are helpful and the food is wonderful. Took a friend out for dumplings and they were extremely satisfied. The food delivery robots are a fun feature! When we ordered drinks, staff gave us extra drinks complimentary (I think they had a promotion?) which was very kind of them. Must visit!

We met up with an ex-colleague with her husband for lunch. This restaurant is famous for their xiao long bao. The restaurant is clean and is always crowded. Apart from the steamed and pan-fried dumplings, you can also try other Shanghai specialties like the claypot rice sets.

Dumpling are fine. Dan Dan noodles miss the mark. They are heavy on the peanut flavor but lack the spices and aromatics that would give the dose the expected flavors.

Always saw a huge line at the front so we were always curious. We came on Friday around 5.20pm and got seated straight away. 5 minutes later and we would have been waiting 1/2 hour for a seat. So make sure to come super early if you want to avoid the line. The queue just keep on going after that. But there is a good reason for it. The dumplings here are amazing. Love the wanton in sweet sour sauce. Definitely hit the spot for us. The kids love their dumpling noodles. My wife loved the dan dan noodles, though it was not as peanuty as I wanted it to be, it was still nice and refreshing. The claypot spare ribs rice were delicious. Huge serving and full of flavour. We love how the rice are slightly roasted from the claypot surface, its like the asian version of paella basically. Which was a good sign, meaning the rice seems to be actually cooked in the claypot, and not just served in it. The cucumbers pickle were also delicious and refreshing. Definitely a great spot to visit if you are in Northbridge. Super kids friendly! Also side observation, the toilet was clean and well kept. Important for urgent nature calls 🤣

I love every dish I ordered. It's worth the long time spending in the queue waiting to get a table.

Updating my review from 5 to 3 stars after the experience I had today. Wasn't happy with the service. Their juicy Bao is not bad but is never as good as the ones in China, but will do when your choice is limited here.

Was invited for dinner by my friend. There’s a queue to get in but cleared pretty quickly. Food was quite nice & well priced. Cutleries are self service & a robot will serve you your food.

Amazing dumplings!!!! My friend & I both vegetarian but imagine the meat dishes are equally delicious. Great lunch spot that also does take away. They have those robot servers too which is more novel than useful 🤪

Food is alright I’m a Asian so pretty average I don’t know why it’s flooded with westerners.. food is a bit tasteless and very average. Go try real Chinese food guys and the most important one is the service is fking bad that’s what I left over from my order

Excellent food and service. Probably the best dumplings I've had! Food was served quickly by the robot; if the robot was pre-occupied, the waitress would serve it herself. The fried chicken as an entree took a while, but I guess that's how long it takes to deep fry chicken. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Tasty little spot with a large and varied menu. The taro spring rolls were lightly fried but were so yummy. Very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be going back.

Simple, quick & cheap dumplings, noodles & rice dishes. Consistently delivering tasty dishes, hence the long line out the front! The dumplings are nice & plump & the fillings are flavorful. The noodles are nothing amazing (in my opinion) but are made better when paired with their meats and dumplings 🥟 Must try the pan fried bao dumplings 😋 _____ Follow us for more food reviews on IG : @cheatmealswithmydog

Tried this out recently, had to wait in a line outside for 15 minutes but didn’t mind too much, ordered the pan fried pork dumplings, squid tentacles, pork ribs rice bowl and soup dumplings. The pan fried were a little dry but the soup dumplings were exquisite. Perfectly juicy and tasty. Rice bowl was meh but the side sauce it comes with is banging. Would definitely return for those soup dumplings 👌🏽service was great.

Order online and takeaway. Chicken and mushroom claypot, quite a lot meat. Large size and a reasonable price. Rice is a little bit hard for me.

Partner and I stumbled upon this place on their opening night and we’ve been going here ever since! The best dumplings you can find in Perth, other stuff on their menu is super delicious too. So happy to see how popular they’ve become as they’re seriously the best

Good food overall. Beef brisket has good quantity and is succulent. The Baos are indeed juicy and fragrant. Clay pot rice has tender ribs and a nice rice crust. Nitpicking: the clay pot rice is a little on the wet side and the fried bao's skin is a little too sweet and sticky.

  • 3/5 Tony M. 1 year ago on Google
The rice taste good. The buns, well, have a long way to go. From the mince to bun taste. Won’t queue for this restaurant personally.

Came here after the queue at authentic bites was too long. The noodles were chewy and the flavour was great. Good value too

  • 3/5 Tia C. 1 year ago on Google
very average experience overall, was hoping for better from the good reviews and also having to queue up for 20min on a Wednesday afternoon, I thought it must be good.. it was alright. the only really standout dish was the xiao long bao, the soup filled pork dumplings which were great quality. the veggie dumplings had average flavour and the pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings tasted like processed meat, and both the pan fried dumplings and the claypot veggies with rice were so greasy they gave me a tummy ache after eating them. the included soup had a bit of tomato flavour, that was alright quality. the service was also pretty minimal with staff not really talking to you at all and just rushing you through the process, though they were very busy that day. adding onto that the long wait to get in, overall I wouldn't come back here.

My favorite dumplings place in Northbridge, highly recommended. Love the Xiao along Bao here, always steaming hot. Clay pot rice is a big portion, you can more meat than rice, haha. Always get takeaway and add more rice in. Yummy yummy.

pork dumplings pastry wrapping is too thick but noodles were chewy and tasty...noodle house basic sit down.. order using tablet

  • 1/5 Tiff C. 3 years ago on Google
The service is very bad. The staff absolutely refuses to be helpful. If you ask for water, cutlery, plates whatever, they will tell you to go get it yourself at the back and would just stand there waiting around. When they bring your food over, they put it down very rudely. The food is good though... if you can overlook the service and the long lines, their dumplings are very good. Sad that they allow poor service to continue despite same reviews from other people.

The best Xiao Long Bao in Perth. It’s really juicy and thin skin. Like my hometown, Shanghai’s. Today I found it’s being renovated. Hope it will reopen soon. Really miss ...

The spicy pork Xiao Long Bao is why I keep coming back. If you've never had soup dumplings, this is a great first! Everything else was either super delicious too, or just regular delicious, but nothing was bad. If you want quality dumplings at a decent price, go here.

Good place for dumplings, nice decor, very clean, efficient service. Dumpling skin can be thinner though. Ordered soup dumplings, fried dumplings but my favourite is the spicy dumplings Claypot rice is nice too.

Yummy food and friendly service! When you order the claypot rice you can change your chicken soup to hot and sour soup for free! My go to is the chicken and mushroom claypot rice, I have yet to get sick of it after eating it countless times.

Had a late lunch here today, was a bit worried as they closed at 3 and we walked in at 2:20, as a hospo worker that makes me anxious, I need not worry as people still walked in near on 2:50!! We were seated, had our order taken and our food delivered in a wonderfully timely manner by a lovely waitress. The food arrived and I tucked into my fried wontons which were so good I persuaded my non seafood eating fiancé to try them.... and he liked it!! The pan fried pork bao and pan fried pork dumplings were also amazing and so well priced for the serve. We had 3 meals and a drink each for $35... We will be back to try many other things on the menu!

(Translated by Google) I used to go to the store frequently, but I went there twice after Christmas and I was very disappointed. The xiaolongbao, which used to be delicious, is now dry from the skin and the meat tastes wrong. (Original) 之前常去的店,但圣诞节后连着去了二次,都很失望。以前很好吃的小笼包,现在从皮干乎乎的,肉的味道也不对。

Food still taste good . However I much prefer the older menu where there was clay pot braised pork rice and the soup was crab flavoured tomato egg soup.. Now theres no more pork belly claypot and the soup have been swap to your usual chicken soup I dont feel that unique taste was offered anymore hence no longer have the urge to travel for food i can no longer have
