I had the worst experience in this place. My boyfriend bought an engament ring from michael hill belmont and he bought the premium care. The ring was big and i went to this shop to try to reduce to my size. The womens who works there didn't give me a solution because with this ring it was only possible to dimiss 2 size and alos because the ring was used (they never let my boyfriend know that i can not used the ring). After that i went to another michael Hill shop and they give me a solution in one minute. I can't believe that after you buy a really expensive ring they don't offer you a solution. I don't recommend this shop and the customer service

I gave my ring for repair (re size)in March. I understand that you guys got closed because of COVID. After opening, I called 3 times and I visited once. You said that you were gonna call me for info. Today we are in middle of June and I again call to ask info. And finally my ring is over there. It’s been 3 months. Now I can use my ring. And I am not happy with this service. My positive feedback is your employers are friendly.

We went to 6 different stores around Hay Strret today, but only Michael Hill has the space, the selection and the relaxed atmosphere to take your time and enjoy the experience. Tom was amazing and professional, with a fun and non-pushy attitude and is such an asset to this company. It was an experience that we will both remember for many years. And that is the way it should be. A big thanks to Ian the new manager also. Thanks guys

Very disappointed with our shopping experience at Michael Hill. The initial visit to purchase an engagement ring went very good, Anne was very helpful and did everything well. However, what happened next when we came back to the store to resize the ring is just unacceptable, and we won’t come back for further purchases. We were lied to on multiple occasions. They said the resizing would take 3 weeks, so we thought we’d just return the ring and order a new one online in the right size, and they responded it will take 8 weeks - lie #1, and that it would be the same ring we already bought that will be sent for resizing even if purchased from the website - lie #2. I rang the customer support and they said it would take just a few days to ship a new resized ring from a warehouse, not 8 weeks which is to make a new ring in the right size from scratch. Came back to the store again to return the original ring and they said they’d resize it faster in 1.5 weeks. We ended up agreeing to that and when we came back 10 days later we were told to wait another 1.5 week. So they lied again about 1.5 weeks. Thanks Michael Hill for leaving my fiancée without the ring and for spoiling the experience. I can conclude that store sales is the priority for you, not the relationship with the customers

My fiancé proposed in May 2021 . He purchased a diamond solitaire at Michael Hill Perth CBD. I had to bring my ring twice to be repaired ( open claw and lose diamond) within 6 months. An engagement ring is supposed to last a life time. Obviously the quality is not there. I have been patient and asked politely to get a refund since I only had pb with it and I wasn’t satisfied with the service given ( often had to deal with unpleasant staff ). This ring only brings me negative vibes. I have been told that they couldn’t refund me because I had the ring 4 months out 6.5 months. Bringing this matter now to consumer law WA. My fiancé spent all his savings in this ring. I have no faith in Michael Hill and have the biggest regret ever that the ring has been purchased there. Definitely not recommending this franchise !

They collect your personal details even when you only wanna get a $15-doller Xmas gift. I did ask what for & tell them I didn’t feel comfortable to give any of my details, the sales lady still asked me for my phone number. Will never purchase from a company that doesn’t understand what respect means.
